Annual reunion

We often stay in Norfolk during October half term with friends, meeting up with other friends who live in Burnham Market. We loved the facilities at Red Gables and it’s setting in Burnham Market. A beautiful property, very comfortable, and suitable for exploring right from the front door.

Easter 2022

The property was beautiful and very tastefully decorated. I was so lucky to find it as I only booked it 5 days before we went. We were a family of 10 and had loads of space to spread out. We were lucky with the weather and explored the lovely village of Burnham Market and the seaside nearby. Our three little grandchildren loved the garden and sleeping in the room upstairs. We will recommend this cottage to our family and friends and might visit again soon.

Superb location in Burnham Market

3 generations had a great week at Red Gables, very spacious inside and out! Beautifully decorated and everything you could need, only exception was we required a bigger teapot!

Ideal location.

Loved everything except the bedrooms. Large double/ en suite was lovely but other two were cramped. No storage. No wardrobes just wall hooks. Second ensuite very small.

Pleasant bungalow and good location

A lovely, spacious bungalow, with a pleasant garden and lots of space to park the cars. The living areas are all light and airy, with plenty of seating. The sofas are low, so a supportive arm chair would have been a help to us. The beds were mainly comfortable, although one mattress needed some extra padding to make it so. The bedding and towels were adequate. Good bathroom facilities and plenty of hot water, once we realised we had to switch on the controls in the kitchen. The kitchen is very well equipped with good quality appliances, although we felt the oven should have been cleaner. Also, some of the crockery and cutlery were dirty on our arrival and it became apparent that the dishwasher needed a repair. Once reported, Norfolk Hideaways acted promptly to rectify the problem and was very apologetic. The garden furniture enabled us to eat outside when the weather allowed, which was very pleasant and the garden table tennis table was also enjoyed. Burnham Market is a delightful village and we appreciated the local butchers, fishmongers, general store and church. We found the location good for visiting the coast as well as Houses and Gardens such as Holkham Hall and Sandringham.
