Noto perfekt

Besser kann man in Noto nicht wohnen. Die Lage ist perfekt, co. 100 m zum Dom. Die Wohnung ist groß, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Von der Waschmaschine über den Toaster bis zum Flaschenöffner ist wirklich alles vorhanden. Wir haben noch nie eine Wohnung gemietet, die so gut ausgestattet war. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war korrekt und problemlos. Vielen Dank an Luisa und Gianmario

Sehr schön

Die Wohnung ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Die Küchen ist überdurchschnittlich ausgestattet. Alles war sauber und gepflegt. Von der Dachterrasse hat man einen schönen Blick über Noto. Duch die enge Strasse (leider viel befahren) hat man vermehrt Straßenlärm. Der Kontakt zu dem Vermieter war sehr gut.

Super!

Nur einen paar Schritte sind es zum wunderschönen barocken Zentrum mit Restaurants und Cafe`s. Mit einem Frühstück auf der Dachterrasse startet jeder Tag perfekt und endet ebenso bei einem Glas Wein. Von dort hat man einen schönen Blick über die Dächer von Noto bis hin zum Meer. Das geschmackvoll eingerichtete Apartment lässt keine Wünsche offen und auch das Küchenequipment ist überdurchschnittlich. Alles war sauber und gepflegt. Hier kann man es länger aushalten und die Umgebung bietet genug Möglichkeiten.

"Sehr schönes Appartement mit sonniger Dachterasse mitten in der barocken Altstadt. Wunderbares Flair! Die Wohnung ist frisch renoviert, gut ausgestattet und charmant eingerichtet. This appartement was fantasic for us. We (67 and 70 years old couple from Denmark without a car) stayed there for one week in october 2014. Everything was perfect: nice and clean with a lovely terrasse on the top. Many thanks to Gianmario and his very kind and helpfull hostess in Noto : Luisa! 5 big stars but look up for the steps! Wonderful Noto

This is a delightful apartment and the photographs are just as it is. It was clean and everything that you needed was supplied. The roof terrace was lovely. It’s only a short stroll down into Noto main centre which has lots of places to eat. Noto has a lovely relaxed feel about it and is a great place from which to explore other Baroque towns. One note - PARKING - you can find spaces but be prepared for tight squeezes and very narrow streets. We went to Ragusa, Modica (don't forget to get chocolate - it doesn't melt). Scicli. Also went to the beach at Vendicari, absolutely beautiful, wild and unspoilt. Visited Marzameni which has a Boho feel. Went to the Lido di Noto too. Loved this corner of Sicily and would definitely stay here again. Luisa was there to meet us and Gianmario sent all the information via email and text. Cannot fault anything. Loved it

Great base for the baroque hill towns

This is a clean, comfortable apartment in the heart of Noto's baroque center. Perfectly outfitted for a family of four. The kitchen is small but well equipped and great for preparation of simple meals, and the roof terrace is delightful. We had no problem finding parking nearby. Gianmario is friendly and helpful. We would definitely return and would recommend this apartment to friends. It is very important that you visit Caffe Costanza and Caffe Sicilia for gelato. They are the best we have tried in Italy but they are rivals and are quite different from one another. Our only regret was that four nights was not enough time to explore this amazing area.

"la terrasse n''est pas a...

"la terrasse n''est pas au même niveau que la location( cela n''est pas signalé dans l''annonce), les escaliers pour y acceder sont très pentu, sans rampe de sécurité et dangereux,exclure la possibilité d''y prendre ses repas. L''appartement n''était pas nettoyé lors de notre arrivée, nous avons du patienter 2h. La situation est idéale pour visiter noto et la région, il faut une voiture et ce n''est pas évident pour stationner,il y a des escaliers aussi pour accéder à l''appartement, donc du transport de bagages. L''appartement se trouve en centre ville et le matin de bonne heure c''est assez bruyant vu la circulation."

"Désolé pour la privation causée par travaux d'entretien qu'ils ne pouvaient pas être déroulés en autre moment. En ce qui concerne le possibiltà de prendre repas sur la terrasse, aucun hôte il a jamais eu difficulté il a ou mieux trouvé agréable. Pour augmenter la sûreté L'escalier viendra douée de main courante entre peu jours."

un séjour réussi !

Le gîte est au coeur de la ville baroque, très confortable et aménagé avec beaucoup de goût. Tout est fait pour passer d'excellentes vacances, au coeur du "triangle baroque" et à deux pas de la mer. De plus les logeurs sont charmants et très accueillants. Nous avons passé de formidables vacances.

Romantic holidays

We had a lovely stay in Noto. The appartment and location is as wonderful as you can imagine by the photos. You have a great viewing from the terasse over the roofs of the historical buildings, very close to the dome of Noto. The appartment was very clean and welcoming, and the kitchen was well equipped. In few words one of the best places to be in Sicily. We recommend to carry a GPS-navigation with you and use Via Ascenzo Mauceri for the arrival (and then the first side-road on the left). Take care of the narrow streets in the historical center. Many thanks to Miss Luisa and Gianmario for a lovely holiday and the uncomplicated handling.

"Apartment is very handy ...

"Apartment is very handy for Noto centre, clean, very equipped and characterful. Easy parking nearby, but difficult to find the right one-way route to flat first time...best to park near stadium and do the short walk to flat. Owner very helpful and easy to contact , and the same for local agent (though our poor Italian made understanding sometimes difficult)."

"L''appartamento é situat...

"L''appartamento é situato nel centro storico, vicinissimo a tutto: luoghi d''interesse culturale e culinario per non parlare della posizione strategica rispetto a tutto quello che c''é da vedere e da fare in questa parte ricchissima della Sicilia. Durante le 2 settimane abbiamo sempre parcheggato vicino a casa senza difficoltà. L''appartamento é stato ristrutturato di recente e dunque é accogliente e arredato con gusto, con una bella terrazza sui tetti. Il proprietario, anche se non vive sul posto, é sempre stato molto disponibile sia prima del nostro arrivo che durante la vacanza riempiendoci di preziose informazioni.A Noto invece c''era la Signora Luisa, per accoglierci e "seguirci" con la gentilezza squisita dei siciliani. Insomma una bella vacanza, a contatto con la vita locale, riposante ma anche ricchissima di sensazioni."

"When we arrived we were welcomed by Signora Luisa with a big smile, a clean apartment and a bottle of champagne in the fridge ;) (we had rented that apartment for our honeymoon) The apartment is exactly as the one one the pictures, and we are and were very pleased. Everything was perfect, and we had everything that we needed and agreed on with Mr.Milanesi (the owner)!One part of the apartment is above little street that is opened for traffic so now and than there were a little noise (scooters and cars) but it wasn't disturbing and we got used to it. The apartment is in historical core of Noto, and is very cute and authentic so if you want to experience the culture and interact with people and get to know the true spirit of Sicilians We are recommending this city and apartment! Mr.Milanesi was great, very professional. We are very pleased that we rented apartment from him :)"

"This appartment is reall...

"This appartment is really GREAT! Actually so great that I asked my girlfriend to marry me on the roof terrace. The location is super, right in the middle of the center. Please note that driving your car through Noto is a challenge. I got used to it in my Opel Corsa, but I can imagine others having a bit of trouble. In that case, parking in the lower city could be an option. Please note as well that Noto rises early and your bedroom is right next to a street. This gives noise, although we got used to that quickly. The apartment itself is VERY nice. Completely new, mosaic floor, four poster bed (Hemelbed in Dutch), nice details in the knobs of the cupboard, nice lights, good bathroom and of course the roof terrace. Very nice to sit there and watch the birds or look out over the city''s roofs and the sea behind it. The owner of the appartment suggested us a number of restaurants to go to. We tried one of them: Trattoria Del Carmine: really good food for low prices! Please make sure you''re not too early (< 9pm). The contact with the owner and the lady that welcomed us was very good. No problems whatsoever. All in all, very satisfied and a lovely start of our holiday."
