We found the house well decorated (it was Christmas), spacious and well set out. All the bedrooms were very well attended. The kitchen had most of the things you need and sharp knives plus space, for when there is more than one cook. The snug was a hit with our grandsons, as they could escape the adults.
The surprise was how crowded the village itself was. We had heard it was popular but we expected that to be more for warmer months. Talking to locals quickly dispelled that myth, plus all the people there. Be prepared to queue for most things, including the bridge, and you have to book the restaurants.
Did we all like the house, yes. Would we stay there again, no sure.
