We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed the property and deeply regret you forgot an item and are sorry to hear that our team's responsiveness was not to your satisfaction. My Huatulco Vacation has been operating in the destination for almost 15 years and has a guest satisfaction rating of 97% across all booking platforms so please understand this incident is not a reflection of our company's level of honesty. The property manager responded on the same day of your departure to inform you that the forgotten item was not located in the property. While we understand how frustrating it can be to lose an item of value, our team attempted to immediately assist you. In regards to the Guest Services contact not responding quickly, the issue was open on our end and was not followed up on prior to this review only because it is still being actively pursued. One of the special parts of Huatulco is the safety and honesty of members of our community. It is not an unusual story to hear of someone leaving a wallet in a Huatulco taxi and having it returned. To read a review like this that throws shade on our company and destination because of a forgotten item is unfair and unjust. We pride ourselves on delivering outstanding experiences and work tirelessly to support our guests. We hope your feedback is taken for what it is, regret over a forgotten/lost item - which we will continue to pursue on your behalf.
