We stayed here in Nov 2019 with our family of four, and our extended family. The property has two suites... each one has two bedrooms, one bath, and one living space. They are connected by a short breezeway. The property has three levels; with the bottom being the pool and large surround, the second being the bedrooms/bathrooms/living spaces (bedrooms have AC), and the top being an open living space and kitchen/dining area.
The Good: outstanding view, excellent location, great chef, very spacious top floor with hammocks and grass roof. Well equipped kitchen, lots of magazines/books around and games to play. A second's walk to a great beach for kids, beach front restaurants and beach massages for Cheap on the beach. Leo was very helpful in organizing a diving trip, calling taxis, and renting sea-doos. Casa was clean; fresh flowers were on the beds when we arrived. Leo speaks great English.
The Not As Good: they could use a handy-man to come through. The doors to our bedrooms and bathrooms wouldn't close and lock (they need to be shaved down), and the lock of the main-door is backyards so hard to use, and the door needs to be slammed to lock. The bathrooms are not new, but are clean, and the showers have terrible pressure, barely able to rinse the shampoo out of my hair. The shower to wash sand off your feet is very poor; a foot tap would be better. To enter the property, there is an extremely steep ramp that might not be accessible for the less physically-abled, and you must buzz in to get the staff to let you in. We found this rather annoying and would have preferred a key. There is a spiral cement staircase and very short planter box railings that would be hazardous for young children. A lot of the door handles and shower heads are corroded and could use replacing. Our bedroom door got locked from the inside, and we were unable to find anyone on staff to let us in. My husband ended up climbing through two windows and through planters to break us in. Because the top floor is totally open, when the staff is cooking, there is no division, so it can feel awkward as they stand there and wait. We prefer a closed kitchen or separate dining area when chef services are being used. We stayed at a house near by for our first week, Casa Rosa (highly recommended) and the meal prep for 12 of us there, was equivalent to only ONE of us at this rental! The food was good but not worth the incredibly high price.
