You definitely need a car if you stay here. The walk to the beach is 25 mins and its going back to the house that kills you. Its all a hill. The beach has a lot of stones so for a good swimm you have to go elsewhere. Buses are available but its a 12 min walk.Taxis are expensive. Check to make sure the currency you have can be exchanged in Barbados. The banks do not exchange all currencies. Except for a few minor problems the stay was quite good.

Fantastic stay from start to finish and our best family holiday ever. The location of this beautiful villa is exceptional. Two minute drive down the hill to the stunning Sandy Lane section of Payne’s Bay or to get into Holetown for the Limegrove Centre, bars, restaurants, supermarket and another beautiful beach. Great to get to North, South, East coast of the island and Bridgetown so easy access to all the tourist attractions. Perfect for days by the pool too with a lovely deck, BBQ, plenty of space and everything you need for a day and/ or evening in! Dee and our host Paulette were both brilliant to communicate with and made the journey from booking to check out perfectly smooth and were even on hand for any questions and local recommendations!

Pool was great, just needed to scoop out the leaves on occasions as was windy ! Rooms were clean and spacious. AC cooled the rooms, ceiling fan was inoperable due to a problem with the remote, but these are being fixed. No hot water during our stay, as a leak with the solar panels, but again this was due to be fixed after our stay. Rooms could do with blackout curtains, as existing nets dont stop light from outside. Bit dated and could do with an upgrade of furniture and kitchen. But for the price a good deal.

Beautiful

We had a great time here with our family, 3 children 18+. The house was beautiful and the pool was big and clean. We enjoyed ourselves for three weeks. It is advisable to rent a car because it is quite remote from shops and supermarkets and the like.

Great stay and very close drive to Holetown

Nice property. Air conditioner worked well in every room and cooled down room quickly. Pool is beautiful. Saw one monkey on the fence in the morning. Dinner at Holetown was only an 8 minute drive and centrally located to get anywhere else on the island within 30 minutes. Nice place to come back to in the evenings after a long day at the beach

Great stay at this cracking property

From the point of booking to our departure both Dee and Fernanda were there for our every request. The property is in a very safe area with no worries regarding security etc. The wonderful beaches and restaurants on the west coast are minutes away. The pool area is great and the bedrooms and living spaces are perfect too. I would highly recommend this property! The cleaner (who’s name I forget) was very helpful and did a great job for us. Many thanks to all and I hope to see you again soon.

Amazing property

The house was spacious providing everything we needed located in a lovely area of Barbados. The beach was a short drive and roughly 10 minute walk with a petrol station and supermarket close by also. The pool provides a great environment for families due to being so spacious and private, despite the neighbour having access to the pool. We were able to use the pool privately our whole stay and would definitely 100% recommend this property to anyone wanting to stay in Barbados. We shall be returning ourselves in the near future!

Great spacious clean and affordable

Our 4th time staying in Barbados self catering and found this place was probably the best property all round in our price bracket. It has good location, a lovely pool and plenty of space. Clean and well cared for by property manager. As others have said a car is preferable for which there is off road parking. Pool is great although the back of property doesn't get full sun most of the day if you intend to sun bathe instead of getting out and about.Has a full security alarm system and a safe for valuables. Would definitely recommend at this price point.

Last minute trip

Our stay was great. The neighborhood was great and convenient to the grocery store and other attractions. Rachel, the property manager, was friendly and gave many great suggestions for dining. The house was spacious and inviting. My fee recommendations are to leave instructions for the tv with the wifi information, open the windows before occupation to air out the house and update some of the furniture and linens/towels. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back in July. Thank you Rachel and Dee.
