Beautiful view!

Very comfortable place to be with a gorgeous view of the lake and surrounding mountains. Sitting on the deck in the morning with our coffee was bliss!

Beautiful home overlooking the water!

We had a wonderful stay at the house with our family. The home is beautiful and well equipped. The view is amazing, as well as the pool and outside areas. The staff were extremely helpful, including Sofia and Claudia. We will definitely consider staying again at this property.

Pictures don't do it justice!

Neither pictures nor words capture this property. Our group of 8 (2 families) stayed here in August, and the space is spectacular. We spent hours outside - moving between the porch with the stunning views, the pool where the kids played for hours while adults read; and ending the evenings with an outdoor dinner by the grill. There was ample space to spread out, and the property was gorgeously landscaped. We loved hearing the tinkle of bells as goats roamed the hills nearby. The kitchen was well stocked, and we especially enjoyed cooking on the barbecue outside (and learned it uses a lot of charcoal! part of the fun of cooking in a new place!). The 4 bedrooms and 2 baths fit our group well. The mattresses were quite firm- but as one person noted - it made getting out of bed quite easy! Communication with the hosts was top notch and any needs that arose were immediately and totally addressed. They truly went above and beyond. We also appreciated that this location felt off the beaten path. Our impression was that we were vacationing alongside other Portuguese tourists, with some French families too. We spent enjoyable days exploring Geres and scenic drives nearby; going to Braga for a stadium tour and a visit to Bom Jesus; and exploring castles in the surrounding areas. Such a memorable get away.

Stunning views, house a little tired.

The view from the balcony was absolutely stunning. Could hear the wolves at night and several different bird of prey around, day and night.the apartment itself was ok, but a little tired and could do with some care -The blind fell down in the kitchen without ever being touched, the kitchen cupboards all creaked (But not half as much as the bedroom floor that could be heard throughout the house at night if someone got up to the toilet.) We decided not to use the bedrooms downstairs as it meant 24 steps, that you are not aware of in the listing - the lower you went down the damper it smelled, it was not inviting , sadly. We had concerns with the balcony railings as they were not as solid as they should be and would worry if there were young children or unsteady adults. There was a small bucket on the balcony full of cigarette ends that had not been cleared away.Lots of steps outside for anyone unsteady on their feet or young, not obvious in listing. The swimming pool was lovely on the hot weeks we were there but only one umbrella for shade.We used the voucher for the hike and 'jeep' tour offered. The scenery in the area is stunning. People very friendly, not many spoke English, but could converse in French. A few good restaurants around and roads in June pretty quiet. We enjoyed the stay but a little disappointed that as expensive as it was there wasn't any welcome pack such as wine or local produce. Money needs to be invested to improve safety and comfort.

Hello Linda, We appreciate the feedback although you haven't mentioned any of this, in the moments you contact us in the two days you met us during your activities. The fall of the blind kitchen is something that can happen. Regarding the noise you mentioned of the kitchen cupboards, this is the first time we hear it, no guest has mentioned it before but we will take this in consideration and fix it. The stairs are perfectly visible on the photos of the accommodation advertisement, it shouldn't be a surprise. (House is in a mountain area so it will be impossible not to have stairs).. We can assure that the balcony railings are fixed and it's safe, but we will take a look if its possible to improve it. We are very sorry for the bucket on the balcony. It should have been empty and clean. We will alert the cleaning team so it won't happen again. We would appreciate if you told us this during your stay so we can fix it on time for you, the same thing for the extra umbrella you miss. We could have provided other. We have no knowledge of a mountain village where all the residents can speak a lot of languages. Although we think you didn't have this problem with the staff of Geres Casas or the members of the activities company. From our side all the investment will be applied to improve the next stays."

La maison est conforme à l’annonce, l’endroit est vraiment exceptionnel. La vue a coupé le souffle.Mettrons un bémol sur les équipements, notamment dans la cuisine, huit assiettes pour huit personnes, huit fourchettes, huit couteaux, pas suffisamment de verre, un petit frigo malheureusement vétuste qui perd sa taille, et son âge, ne rafraîchit pas suffisamment pour la capacité de la maison. Ça paraît un détail mais nous sommes sur une grande maison l’été.Nous regrettons également de ne pas avoir accès à un minimum d’accessoires pour la piscine, la pompe ne tourne pas suffisamment et l eau se trouble rapidement.Nous sommes sur une très belle maison avec une prestation financière assez conséquente et nous aurions aimé avoir quelque chose en rapport à cela vis-à-vis de ces points négatif. C’est dommage car le reste est vraiment exceptionnel.

Bonjour, En ce qui concerne la vaisselle et les ustensiles de cuisine, nous avons déjà demandé à la maison de les remplacer car il y en a effectivement trop peu pour le nombre de personnes présentes, mais comme vous avez demandé d'autres choses, vous auriez pu signaler ce manque et nous aurions immédiatement répondu à votre demande. Quant à la piscine, elle a toujours fonctionné et nous sommes allés plusieurs fois pour l'entretenir, mais nous n'avons constaté aucun problème. Nous en avons d'ailleurs parlé aux clients et nous pensions qu'ils avaient compris que tout était en ordre. En ce qui concerne les accessoires de piscine, nous ne savons pas à quoi vous faites référence, car nous avons mis à disposition des chaises longues et des parasols, et nous n'avons rien d'autre comme accessoires sur place, mais aucun accessoire ne nous a été fourni. Chaque fois que l'on nous a demandé de résoudre un problème, nous nous sommes immédiatement rendus à la maison pour le faire. Merci.

Espaço envolvente e vistas espetaculares....casa muito bem decorada com muito bom gosto A casa estava muito fria quando chegamos . O ar condicionado no quarto resulta. Mas na zona da sala com apenas uma máquina e difícil o espaço aquecer. Tentamos ligar a lareira mas a mesma deita muito fumo ! Não sei se será da extração mas tivemos que a apagar.

A paisagem exterior muito bonita , envolvente bem tratada na zona da piscina e jardim , no interior bem decorado para o tipo de habitação , eficiência dos funcionários na resolução de pequenos problemas . acesso ao portao da casa ..........a rua a precisar de um arranjo as raizes salientes estragam os carros . resolver o cheiro do sanitario dos quartos principais no acesso das escadas aos quartos e um cheiro intenso .

Apartamento com uma vista espetacular, muito confortável e limpo, tudo para uma estadia relaxante frente à natureza e ao rio, não apanhámos bom tempo mas a casa fez a nossa estadia a melhor, apto para desfrutar em qualquer altura do ano, gostamos e adoramos! A equipe foi muito atenciosa com nós, não tivemos nenhum problema, vamos voltar definitivamente!!!! Nada, tudo incrível!!

A piscina está muito bem localizada, com boa exposição solar e pouco vento. A varanda tem uma otima vista e a area do churrasco é muito agradável A cozinha não é muito grande.
