Das Resting Nest ist ein charmantes Cottage mit 2 Schlafzimmern und 2 Bädern im wunderschönen Grand Beach am Ufer des Lake Michigan. Buchstäblich ein paar Schritte vom Strand entfernt, ist dieses Ferienhaus der perfekte Ort, um mit Familie und Freunden den ganzen Sommer über schöne Erinnerungen zu sammeln.

Such a great house for our family. We love the pool and close to the beach. The house is stocked with all the things you could need to cook and grill. Close to lots of restaurants too.We have stayed at this home twice and plan to be back

Excellent location. The house was perfect for us and has so many amenities for guests. The beach is steps away, as is a playground and tennis/golf course. We had an issue on the first day. Gina responded immediately and drove over, even though it was 10 o’clock at night, and fixed the problem right away! She really went above and beyond to make our stay as great as possible. The kids (2,4,7) absolutely loved this vacation. 10/10 recommend!!

We had a great stay. House is clean and in great neighborhood. The beach doesn’t have tons of stairs which was really nice. The property manager was super kind and helpful and helped us through a situation and went above and beyond to help.

The perfect getaway

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our week stay at the Rest Nest. The house is adorable and had everything you need for fun and relaxation. We spent the days swimming in the heated pool, walked steps to Lake Michigan to watch the sunsets, had bonfires at night and played games til bedtime. A few nights we took the short drive to New Buffalo and had dinner out and even hit the casino once. We realized the first morning that there wasn't a toaster. I let Gina know and she was at the door with a toaster along with rolls and bagels and cream cheese. She also texted me as we were driving home and let me know I had left behind a few items in a drawer. She mailed them out to me that day. Great experience on every level. I'll be back next year.

Perfect Quiet Spot close to beach

Our family of 5 enjoyed our first stay here! We loved how cute and clean the house was. The pool was a major hit with the kids and the beach was walking distance from the house. The beach was a little rocky but our 3 kids still had a great time exploring and swimming. Very quiet and friendly neighborhood too! We'll be back again!

We'll be back!

We loved our stay at Grand Beach! The house was perfect for our family of four. The layout was ideal, including a great primary bedroom that gave the adults their own space to unwind. The living room was cozy and comfortable. The pool was terrific and the outdoor lighting gave a welcoming night time ambiance. The beach toy selection was solid and our kiddos loved pulling the wagon of supplies to the beach. The walk to the beach was definitely less than 5 minutes -- even closer than we had anticipated. The beach is on the smaller side but was not at all crowded. The sunset views were indeed great. The house is also a reasonable walk to the playground. The yard across the driveway is large and we even saw a deer come through. Good food was a short drive away, and we got carryout several times. We came from central Indiana and were pleased to have found such a gem without having to travel farther north. (We had one issue but Gina handled it immediately and to our full satisfaction.) One of our very best VRBO experiences. We hope to be back!

Perfection!

We absolutely loved this house. This was our 5th year vacationing in Michigan and this was one of our favorites. The house was so beautiful and clean. It had everything we needed. The pool was wonderful for the kids. Just the right height for our 6 year old who enjoyed being able to touch and keep his head above the water. It was perfectly heated to my liking as well! The location was awesome too, a few houses away from a little beach perfect for collecting rocks and watching the sunset. A short walk to a playground area that also has volleyball nets, basketball courts and tennis. It was only a 5 minute drive into the town of New Buffalo. And Gina was so great to with. She had a basket of snacks upon our arrival which was nice. Communication was great. We had a few minor issues and she addressed them right away. We will for sure be back!

The perfect summer getaway

Our stay in Grand Beach was the best way to end our summer vacation. The house was just as described, incredibly clean, and stocked with essentials. The rental was missing a baby crib when we arrived and I reached out to Gina and she had one dropped off within the hour. It was the perfect little vacation super close to the very quiet beach. We spent the mornings at the beach and then the afternoons at the pool. The backyard was just right for our family with young children. The front yard was huge and gave the kids lots of room to run around. I especially loved how much storage was in the primary bedroom for all of our stuff. Will absolutely consider staying here again. A Piece of Paradise

The Resting Nest was a fabulous place to enjoy the beautiful Lake Michigan shoreline , the serene and peaceful surroundings of trees and rolling hills and a relaxing , well-appointed pool and amenities to swim and soak up the sun . We had a low key , rejuvenating stay and loved every minute of it! Accommodations were very comfortable, the owner was incredibly helpful and easy to reach and the large yard, complete with a fire pit was so nice !

1st trip to Michigan

Excellent! This was our first time in Michigan and staying here. We loved the house and the location. The pool was amazing and it’s a block to the beach. The neighborhood was really quiet. The only visitors were a doe and her 2 baby deers. New Buffalo is minutes away with great food and shops and a great beach too. Plus we could always pop back across the border to Indiana to Michigan city for the dunes or shops or food as well. We’re already thinking about our next visit!

Beach getaway

This place was all we could have asked for. In an adorable little neighborhood with very short walk to the beach, playground, golf & tennis. Beach was great and best of all a private pool too! We would do both just about every day. Short drive to New Buffalo restaurants & shopping. Super comfortable home, everything we could have asked for…it was a great find and hope to come back next year!

This quaint little beach community is wonderful. The home is so charming, clean, and cozy. The pool was warm when we arrived, and the lake access was close by.
