We were not made aware of these concerns during your stay, which unfortunately prevented us from addressing them promptly while you were here. We have not received prior reports regarding pests, but we will thoroughly investigate and address this along with the other matters you mentioned to ensure they are resolved. Please know we take all guest concerns seriously and strive to address any issues when reported during a stay. We’d like to clarify a few important details from your reservation. Our team received multiple formal complaints from the HOA and surrounding guests regarding unauthorized parking, an unregistered pet, exceeding the maximum occupancy, and noise disturbances. These are all clear violations of our house rules and community guidelines, which are outlined in the rental agreement each guest receives. The $150 charge you referenced was originally issued as a pet fee due to one of these complaints. However, after speaking with you directly and confirming the pet would not be staying at the property, we refunded that charge as a courtesy. Additionally, the available parking limits for this home are clearly stated in the property description and check-in instructions to avoid any confusion. Unfortunately, we also received reports of vehicles parked in unapproved areas during your stay. As for the concerns you mentioned regarding cleanliness and maintenance, we were not notified during your stay. Had we been made aware, we would have been happy to promptly send a team to address those items. While we regret that your visit did not meet your expectations, we do ask that all guests adhere to the stated policies so we can provide a positive for all!

To clarify, we were in constant communication with you during your stay and dispatched maintenance on multiple occasions to assist with the concerns raised. At no time were we informed that the home was unclean. Had we been made aware, we would have promptly sent our housekeeping team to address the issue. Please note that the property was professionally cleaned and inspected prior to your arrival, in accordance with our standard preparation procedures. Regarding Wi-Fi, we understand how important it is, especially for work-related needs. Our team contacted Spectrum and was informed that the address was not associated with a residential account. This is because the service is managed under our property management business account, which is not tied to a specific property address. Therefore, attempting to verify service or billing using the address alone would not yield accurate information. We can assure you that all Wi-Fi services and related bills are paid and current on our end. Additionally, we note in each listing that Port Aransas—being a barrier island—frequently experiences service interruptions, including internet outages. For this reason, we do not guarantee Wi-Fi availability Lastly, the property listing—including all photos and descriptions—accurately reflects the home’s features and condition. We understand that personal preferences and expectations can vary, and we take all feedback seriously as part of our ongoing efforts to improve guest experiences.
