Charmante Wohnung im Herzen des historischen Zentrums, nur wenige Schritte von den wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten der Stadt. Das Apartment befindet sich im ersten Stock eines sehr alten und charakteristischen Gebäudes und besteht aus einem komfortablen hellen Wohnzimmer mit Essbereich, einer voll ausgestatteten Küche, zwei Doppelzimmern (eines mit einem Doppelbett und eines mit zwei Einzelbetten) und einem Badezimmer mit Dusche. This is a great location. The front door is literally adjacent to a restaurant. A few feet away up and down the sidewalk are convenient stores. It is located fairly central to Spanish Steps and Fontana Di Trevi. Metro is around the corner behind the block, an easy walk up the alley. Beds are on the firmer side. Bathroom/shower on the smaller side. Overall a good stay.

In the middle of everything!

Wow, what a great location! Walkable to most of the sites in Rome. The apartment was clean and the communications were great!! Our host made it easy.

Great location with plenty of space

Perfect location super close to Tevi and Spanish steps. Lots of great spots to eat close by and Metro stop right around the corner. Only issue was we couldn't cinnect to the Wifi but our phones worked fine. AC worked well which we REALLY needed!

The apartment was huge and spotless!!! It was exactly as described and there was only one flight of stairs to get into it. We were met at the entrance and shown the apt and given the keys. Such an easy check in. The apt is only a 2 min walk to Barberini metro station -- sooo convenient. It is on quite a busy street but we had no problems sleeping. There is a great restaurant right beside it which was fantastic and a great gelateria just one block away. Very convenient to see Rome as you are so close to the Metro and the Trevi Fountain.

Good home base for exploring city

Great location near the metro, Spanish steps and Borghese park. Apartment is roomy and clean, and host was very responsive. Only complaint is that it’s a bit noisy, but that’s what you get for being in the middle of the action.

Great location

We loved how we could walk to the biggest tourist sites, and the unit was quiet, except for street noise. They met us for check in, and settled us in. Wish the shower and bathroom was a little bigger!

Great place for a few days in Rome

About 20 min walk from most major sights. Place was as advertised. AC in both bedrooms. Easy check in/out. Liked that we got 2 sets of keys instead of the usual just 1. Safe neighborhood.

Great location, easy to access and nice clean place

Great location in center of Rome. Steps from Spanish steps or Barberini metro station, and a short walk from Trevi or pantheon. Place was very clean and easy to access. Pillows were a bit flat, and we never received any checkout instructions other than to be gone by 10. We were able to reach out and confirm what to do with key. Internet seemed to work better in some parts of the flat than others.

Great stay in Rome

The location was excellent -- very close to Spanish steps and walkable to Borghese, to Coliseum, Trevi, etc. Many good places to eat, as close as outside the front door! Typical noise levels from the street. Grocery a short distance away. Kitchen was well stocked, could have used a cutting board. Shower is slow to drain, and grout needs attention. Comfortable beds, had plenty of towels, etc. Would recommend.

Minimalist Apt in a great location

This VRBO is perfect for tourists with 4 guests(Couple and two others) or three guests. It is located in the middle of luxury shopping and just down the street from the spanish steps. The (red line) Metro is a block away. The furnishings are a mixture of antiques and IKEA. The beds are really comfortable. We all slept so well! You’ll definitely need earplugs. Additional pillows are needed for those that like foam pillows. Our family had a wonderful vacation staying here!

Excellent apartment in great location

We loved our stay in this apartment in the heart of Rome! The unit was very spacious, and a great layout for a family of 4 (double bed in one room for the parents, 2 singles in the other for the kids, plus dining room and kitchen). We could walk anywhere in the historic center of Rome within 20 minutes, the metro was less than a block away, and there were lots of restaurants and grocery stores within 2 or 3 blocks. And in the middle of a record-breaking heatwave in southern Europe, having reliable air conditioning was much appreciated! An unexpected bonus, when Gianluca met us at the apartment to check us in he also spent time with us talking about what the neighborhoods in the surrounding area were like, where we could go for good restaurants and night life, and some tricks for navigating around the city. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat!

Nice Apartment Convenient to Everything

We spent a week in this 1st floor unit. It was as advertised and an overall good experience from check-in to departure. The beds were comfortable and Emanuele was very responsive when we had a water leak issue with the AC in the main bedroom. The location was very good! Convenient to metro (1 block away) and walking distance to tons of restaurants and tourist sites. We particularly enjoyed and highly recommend the restaurant directly below in the street (Botte Antica). Windows were newer double glazed and blocked most of the ambient noise at night from the Via Sistina. Be advised the wi-fi really only works in the living room. Not sure why this is but if you like to lay in bed and surf the www - you won't be able to.

Stay away

Many issues with this stay, starting with checking in and issues with hot water and mold in the bathroom. Contacted property manager, who was hard to get in touch with, and was told a credit would be issued. I’m still waiting for that credit.

Hello this review is not accurate: first, your stay was in 2021, it was really hard for us to find records of your booking. Now I see that you have never complained via email or ask for a refund, I suppose you are talking about another property you rented during your trip in Europe. We never had issues with hot water or mold in the flat and we gave our guest a 24h contact number in case of problems.

Location, location, location is great but nothing is perfect!

The location of this property is great - blocks away from the Spanish Steps and a short walk to the Trevi Fountain. Restaurants and shopping within walking distance. The unit itself had a lot of space and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom needed some additional cleaning due to mold in the shower (black mold at the top of the shower) and the towel racks were loose causing them to fall off the wall. The bathroom sink stopper would not move after we used it and as a result it wouldn't drain. Supplies were limited - 1 large bath towel for each guest for the duration of the stay, 1/2 of a roll of toliet paper, no kitchen towels/paper towels. A trip to the grocery store was needed within hours of arrival. Communication of the construction going on in the building next door in advance and also on the street in front of the building (no electricity upon arrival) should have been relayed prior to arrival. These 2 separate construction sites started work at 6:30 am each morning.

Large apartment on a quieter side street

Spacious apartment on a less busy road, but still within easy walking distance of some of the most iconic tourist destinations. Check-in was very easy and we received proactive communications well in advance of our arrival. The management agency was very accommodating in meeting us at our arrival time on a Sunday evening. The space is comfortable, but a bit sparsely furnished. If you're visiting Rome, you're probably going to be spending most of your time outside, so it shouldn't be a big deal, but nevertheless, the living room only has a small couch that seats 3 people. There were plenty of towels, shampoo, conditioner and bars of soap, which we appreciated. One quirk we noticed was that the light in the bathroom takes a good 20-30 seconds to turn after you press the switch. That was very confusing the first day before we had figured it out. While the main living areas were clean, I'm taking one star off for the cleanliness of the shower. There was quite a bit of mold along the walls, floor and on the bottom of the water tank which is mounted above eye level on top of the toilet. A bit of ventilation would go a long way to alleviating this. Overall, I was satisfied with the value and convenience of this property.

unprofessional management of property

apartment was clean and in very good location. our main complain is that we didn't have any warm water for the whole entire stay in Rome. this was very inconvenient on hot days and having a 79 year old grandmother and a 11 year old child with us. we couldn't take a shower unless we were tough enough to shower in ice cold water. we reported the problem on the day of our arrival by phone, email and text . our assigned contact person Raphaele was very responsive and reacted prompt to help the situation. however he couldn't solve the problem as it was an issue with the water heater. he has contacted the water heater company who came out 3 days later to find out they have to take water heater and replace an oxidized part. This meant no warm water for us! we have received a 40% refund from rental company after multiple complaints. honestly I would have expected a full refund! I think a rental company should check appliances, heat, air-conditioning and water before they rent out the place to make sure everything is functioning! also we were only provided one set of towels each , additional towels cost 5 EURO.

Great space for the active traveler

As a frequent VRBO renter, I believe you generally get what you pay for, and this property is no different. With that in mind, a few perks and considerations with this one. What you get: — great location just down the street from the Spanish Steps — large, spacious bedrooms with great natural light when shutters are open — easy check-in process and good communication in advance. — wide, easy stairs to the second floor — plenty of kitchen equipment if you need it (we always use the kitchens due to a teenager with allergies) — warmed up quickly when we adjusted the heat Some considerations: — This is a busy street and can be noisy at night. Perfect if you want to be part of the action, but something to know if you are a light sleeper. — There are no extra supplies. Bedding and towels were fine, but we had a single roll of bathroom tissue, no facial tissues, no washcloths. Bought TP and Kleenex. — No dishwasher, which I don’t mind. But there was only a single over-used sponge for washing dishes. Bought a sponge. — Also there’s only one small garbage can in the property, located in the kitchen. Seems like such a small thing, but really inconvenient when you need it. As mentioned in other reviews, cleaning fees and tourist taxes have to be paid in cash at check-in. Also- please note that the nearest metro station (Barberini) is under construction right now, so you have to use Spagna, which is also quite close.

Très bonne propriété mis à part la rue un peu sonore. Un plus : le téléphone portable avec accès internet. Une très bonne idée.

The apartment was great

The apartment was great and we had everything we needed! It was clean and stylish and so close to everything! Alexandra met us on arrival and was really lovely. She was welcoming and friendly and gave us great local knowledge of places to visit as well as food. With her help we tracked down a Trattoria in Trastevere that my husband and I went when we were first married. 20 years on we took our teenage kids there who loved it just as much. Grazie mille!
