Es befindet sich in Metchosin am Stadtrand von Victoria, unser Meer zu Hause ist 30 Minuten vom Flughafen und dem berühmten Butchart Gardens und 45 Minuten von der BC Ferries Swartz Bay Terminal. Es gibt 3 Golfplätze Minuten entfernt - die Olympic View Golf Course, der Bär Moutain Resort Golf Course und die Metchosin Golfplatz. Witty Beach, einem langen, flachen Strand ideal für Kiddies und Erwachsene gleichermaßen ist 5 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Einfacher Zugang bis in unsere ruhigen Bucht, wo Robben auf den Felsen und Adler Kopf häufig regelmäßig sonnen steigen. Die Haupteinkaufsstraße ist 10 Minuten entfernt in Langford und es gibt viele Restaurants innerhalb von 15 Minuten.

Wir sind 10 Minuten von der Royal Roads Universität und ca. 15 Minuten vom Pearson College.

Wir sind Mitglied der BC Inn Keepers Guild und des Sooke B & B Assoc'n.

Unsere geräumigen 600 Quadratmeter große Studio Suite ist ausgestattet mit:
• Bequeme Queen-Bett
• 4 Kochplatten
• Convection Micro-Welle
• Kühlschrank
• Dusche.
• Wäscherei
Die Suite verfügt über einen eigenen Eingang und öffnet sich auf eine Terrasse und einen Gemüsegarten. kurzen Weg zu Fuß nach unten, und Sie sind mit Blick auf die Bucht, wo Sie Robben vor Ort können sich auf den Felsen sonnen. Sie können zum Strand hinunterlaufen, Felsen überspringen oder die Küste erkunden.

Ein Hund ist erlaubt, vorausgesetzt:
• Sie sind sozial - wir haben einen jungen, sozialen Bearded Collie
• Sie bleiben vom Bett und vom Sofa fern, da wir viele Gäste haben.

Die Suite verfügt über einen geschlossenen Bereich. 25 'x 40' 'an die Suite angeschlossen und der Außenhof ist komplett eingezäunt. Gasthunde sind dort mit ihren Besitzern willkommen.

Zwischen Jennifer und mir haben wir Grundkenntnisse in Französisch.

Quiet Getaway close to Victoria

Bob and Jennifer were very kind and accommodating hosts. The apartment was just perfect size for 2 adults. It was very clean and well cared for. The best part was the stunning views from the back yard. My hisband and I would sit out each night with a beverage and watch nature in action. The Place to Stay....

The description of the place was correct with no surprises. The owners were very kind and met me as I arrived to give me a tour. The location is about a 15 minute drive to down town Victoria and about 45 minutes to the Airport or the Swartz ferry terminal. I was there for ten nights and enjoyed my stay. The bed is actually very comfortable. The area around the property is an amazing place with forest everywhere and some really beautiful homes. Great place to take walks or a drive.

We had an amazing stay at Bob and Jennifer's home and enjoyed our morning coffee looking out on the water watching sea lions, otters and other wildlife. The unit came complete with some groceries to get one though the first night incase you were not able to get to a store. Bob and Jennifer were very accommodating offering their advice to any questions we may have had. We would not hesitate to recommend their accommodation to anyone would definitely stay there again. Best place ever

Bob and Jennifer are great hosts. There place is perfect. The vues are magnificent. Eagles, seals, herons. We watch racing sailboats passing by (Swiftsure race). Easy ride to Victoria. 5 minutes to the grocery store and liquor store. It is super quiet. 10 minute walk to the coast and a great beach.

A stay at Bob and Jennifer's studio was the perfect getaway. Nestled on a quiet bay, the studio is far enough from the bustle to feel like a true escape but still conveniently close to everything you might need.Every morning began with a cup of coffee in the gazebo, watching the incredible sea life. Seals playfully swam and fished in the bay, while eagles and kingfishers soared overhead. The backyard, with its small rocky islands dotting the water, was a constant source of peaceful entertainment.The location is ideal for nature lovers. A provincial park with stunning daily walks is just a short distance away. After a day of exploring, returning to the tranquil setting of the studio felt like coming home. The sunny weather was a bonus, making the whole experience even more enjoyable.To top it all off, Bob and Jennifer were wonderful hosts—friendly and welcoming. I can't recommend this place enough and can't wait to go back.

We will be forever grateful for the memory of our stay at Salty’s by the Sea in Metchosin - we loved it! Sadly we were only there for 3 nights. We had hired a car with plans to explore more of the island but the bay at the end of the garden is captivating and full of life and beauty. We didn’t need to venture very far - one day into Victoria and a morning along a bay or two … The accommodation is perfect, comfortable, well equipped and the welcome bundle was generous and much appreciated (not to mention some fresh berries from the garden :-) … we had completely forgotten about the provided provisions so it was a lovely surprise!On the Sunday my husband enjoyed exploring the local area on his bike while I enjoyed present shopping at the local Metchosin Farmers market, visiting the School Museum, taking in an art exhibition and generally loving life and the friendly folk!Bob and Jennifer are warm and welcoming. We enjoyed our conversations and appreciated their hospitality. Our stay was perfect.

Scenic Wonder

Properrty was beautiful and well kept, The suite was roomy and cosy with a personal touch. Kitchen area was well stocked. The suite was very clean and the garden areas were beautiful. The owners were very accomodating and friendly. Location and property was dog friendly, our dog loved the place. I would highly recommend this little piece of paradise.

Total Relaxation

We had an absolutely wonderful time. The pictures don't do justice, the view over the private cove was incredible and we could spend the day watching all the different birds and animals that make this there home. The accommodation were very comfortable and had everything needed for our stay.
