Machen Sie einen Schritt zurück in der Zeit und stellen Sie sich als einer der ursprünglichen Homesteaders im Wilden Westen. Leben wie die ursprünglichen Siedler taten, (mit einigen modernen conviences). Nur drei Meilen von Yellowstone Hot Springs! Kurzaufenthalte werden berücksichtigt, wenn zwischen anderen Buchungen oder einer zusätzlichen Gebühr nur eine Nacht verfügbar ist. Bitte Nachricht an mich, wenn Sie für eine Nacht zwischen anderen Buchungen bleiben möchten. Malerische Ausblicke von jedem Teil dieser 13-Morgen-Eigenschaft. Kleine Trail Creek ist 10 Meter von der Hütte entfernt. Eigentümer Pferde sind auf dem Grundstück. 2-Zimmer-rustikale Hütte. Hauptraum hat einen Tisch und Stühle, Stall und einen Holzofen. Das zweite Zimmer hat zwei Doppelbetten. Direkt gegenüber der Straße von der Yellowstone River. Diese Kabine ist nicht für die Stadtbewohner. Wenn Sie Angst vor der Natur Lebewesen sind, finden Sie im Angebot für Hotels in der Stadt. Es gibt ein Vorhängeschloss an der Tür. Wir versuchen, die Kabine so weit wie möglich zu bewahren. Es ist ca. 150 Meter von der Autobahn, sondern fühlt sich an wie 1000. Lassen Sie die Kinder schwenken für Gold und spielen Sie im Bach. Unsere Pferdeweide befindet sich direkt neben der Hütte. Offene Feuerstelle zum Kochen. Töpfe, Pfannen, Teller, Besteck, Laternen, Kerzen, Bettwäsche und Handtücher alle zur Verfügung gestellt! Es gibt eine Steckdose in der Nähe der Kabine für Handy-Ladegeräte und so! Wandern Sie direkt aus dem Hinterhof in die Absaroka Wildnis. Folgen Sie dem Weg nach oben Kleine Trail Creek. Nach 4 Meilen in der kleinen Stadt Gardiner, Montana. 4 Meilen von der historischen Roosevelt Arch - Eingang Nord zum Yellowstone. 45 Minuten nach Livingston, Montana. 58 Meilen nach Bozeman International Airport.

Very family friendly and a quaint rustic cabin type stay. It was clean and as stated a rustic, much like camping type early 1900’s homestead cabin. Very cute and a trip back in time:) The host was accommodating and even offered to mail us an item we left behind accidentally. If you’re looking for an old fashioned glamping type experience this will suite your needs:)

If you want five star(hotel rating system) please see one of our other cabins- the Sage is listing # 1799828. The Lookout is listing # 1216899. The Aspen cabin is listing 851029. They have all of the comforts & amenities of home.

Yes rustic but had everything we needed. Hosts very helpful and right on the property if you need anything. Gardiner is a cute little town right by the entrance to Yellowstone. Hot Springs just down the road were wonderful. I’d stay there again!

Convenient location. Homestead was very cozy. Host was very responsive if we needed anything and let us know about a local event. It was cold when we visited so it was inconvenient having the kitchen area outside. Would have been perfect in the warmer months! Note that there’s no water source next to your cooking area so there will be some back and forth from the bathroom. Suggestion for the host is the instruction book could be simplified. It was not easy to locate specifics without having to go thru the whole (thick!) scrapbook instructions. Also a few of the cups were dirty in the cabinet. Overall my family enjoyed our stay and felt this was a good value.

The main cooking area is 40 yards from the cabin. There is a very helpful walk-through video on our website that we urge potential guests to view to get the lay of the land and to make sure they are in fact looking for and up for a rustic western experience . This cabin is the original Homestead to this property. It is not possible for modern day kitchen items to be in the cabin. We definitely do look through the cabinets after every stay. Occasionally something is missed. We do 95% of cleaning ourselves and take pride in providing a clean place for guests to experience Yellowstone. The guest guide book specifically states to just read the first page, unless you have specific questions about something. Most everything needed is on the first page. It is a two - three minute read. It does have an index of options on specifics that go into detail if there are camping -like knowledge, guests are not familiar with. We host a very wide range of guests. We pride ourselves on giving them the most basic info if desired, but also the most in depth if that is needed. We host guests from all over the world here and each one requires a different amount of information. So if you need a little, you get a little. If you need a lot, you get it! We tried to accommodate everyone’s needs. We appreciate all feedback and try our best to provide an exceptional place for our guests to make memories. Thank You! LittleTrailCreekCabins

We enjoyed our stay and had everything we needed for a good nights sleep. The cabin and bathroom included many extras (including bear and bug spray) that was very thoughtful! A chili dinner was offered on our first night and we thoroughly enjoyed the delicious meal sitting around the campfire. The views, the horses, the hosts, everything was great. We highly recommend!

It is such a wonderful experience living in the Little Trail Creek Cabins. There are places for barbicue with chopped wood. The cabin is beautiful, very rustic, very homy. The location is also easy to find. It is right next to HW 89, 10 mins from the north entrance of Yellowstone. I would highly recommend living at this place if you are traveling to Yellowstone.

Yellowstone vacation

My wife and I stayed at this cabin over the weekend to visit yellowstone. We had an amazing stay, super close to the northeast entrance to yellowstone. The cabin was really nice and it was really fun using the wood burning stove. We woke up to horses outside of our window and you could see the beautiful mountains too. Would definitely stay again

This property was fantastic. I loved having the horses nearby and we had bugling elk on the hillside next to us. The beds were warm and comfortable and the shower was nice and hot! Plenty of firewood as well as dishes and several ways to make coffee, always important.

Great place to sleep while exploring Yellowstone. They had bear spray, coolers, fishing poles all for use. My kids enjoyed the trampoline and gold panning in the creek. I wish it had a mini fridge but otherwise no complaints. Lot of elk to see in Gardiner.

Homestead stay

Had a lovely stay at the Homestead Cabin. It's as described, quite 'rustic'. Only drawback was the proximity both to neighbors and to highway, which was a surprise to us only because we hadn't looked closely at the map. Fortunately, the beautiful creek mostly covers the highway sounds and bushes separate the yard from neighbors. Amazing access to Yellowstone, which was our primary aim, anyway. Hosts are friendly and helpful.

Amazing rustic adventure

We arrived to beautiful scenery of mountain scapes and cozy cottage style cabin. The hosts made us feel right at home! We cooked over the fire and went to bed with full tummies after long days of adventuring through Yellowstone! The babbling brook made it easy to fall asleep at night. The hot springs were as amazing as they look! Everyone throughout the towns were very friendly and full of knowledge. Definitely enjoyed being able to appreciate and enjoy this little piece of mountain living. Would absolutely return and recommend it to friends! Thanks Jim & and Shawn!

This property was amazing! It is just what we wanted! Shawn was such an amazing hostess! She was kind and helpful and just a great all around person! The horses were wonderful, we were able to feed and pet them. The property was beautiful and fun to hike up and and see the wildlife! My only regret is not staying longer and not being able to just at the homestead more! 10 out of 10 all the way around! Highly recomend! We did this with our 10 9 and 6 year old and they had a blast!

Rustic Cabin Adventure

The homestead cabin is located under 10 minutes away from the North Entrance of Yellowstone National Park and downtown Gardiner. The newly built bathroom/shower house and fire pit were highlights of the stay! As mentioned in the listing, this is a rustic cabin so be prepared to start your own fire in the wood stove! We had a bit of trouble locating the cabin upon arrival because the address on Vrbo was listed as 460 when the address should have been 430. The host, Shawn, was very communicative and helpful, meeting us upon arrival with great communication throughout our stay. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend the cabin to anyone looking for a minimalist stay close to Yellowstone!

Glad you found us and enjoyed your stay with us! Thank you for letting us know of this discrepancy. It’s a little disheartening getting a four star due to an error on VRBO’s end with an update they did. We have been with them for seven years and have not changed our address, of course. We have never had a guest have this problem before now. I just called in and had them change our address back! Hopefully this should never be an issue again. But now I know to check it from time to time, just in case!

Peaceful Getaway Minutes from Yellowstone

We had a wonderful time at the rustic cabins. It felt like you were stepping back in time but with the comforts of WiFi & electricity, lol. The smaller cabin my husband & I slept in didn’t have electricity but we didn’t miss it because the little stream that runs along side it lulled us to sleep each night. The bigger cabin had lights and outlets and we could charge our phones in there. The modern bathroom was great and had plenty of hot water even for our large group. The hosts were wonderful, even setting up beautiful charcuterie boards for the guests one evening. The rooms were clean, beautifully decorated and the beds were warm and comfortable. We visit Yellowstone every few years and we’ll definitely look forward to staying here again. We saw elk on the ridge in the mornings. Our hosts really thought of all the little things to make our stay as fun and relaxing as possible.

Turn back time

The cabin was even better than we anticipated. Off-grid to say the least. (wifi was available and working well) Our family truly enjoyed getting to stay in this original homestead and thinking about what it would have been like over 100 years ago for it's original occupants. The modern bathroom was the balancing agent to this time-travel adventure. Everything was very clean and well-kept. The beds were quite comfy, and critters were at a minimum, considering the age, rustic build, and geographical location. The hosts were great at communicating way before we arrived, letting us know of things to do in and around the area during our stay. If you are looking for a "reset" to your high-tech, fast-paced daily grind, this place is perfect.

We fully understand the importance of a clean environment. I have been a nurse for twenty years. I thoroughly clean every cabin between stays.
We are a local Mom & Pop small business that enjoy sharing our little piece of Paradise (Valley) with guests. There are four cabins on 13 acres, 4 miles from Yellowstone National Park & Yellowstone Hot Springs in Gardiner, Montana. The back yard is thousands of miles of public land to explore on Little Trail Creek. It is the perfect setting to relax, explore, exercise, reset, whatever you need to do!

It's the Last Best Place! We purchased the property in April 2016 from the Stermitz family. It has been in their family for four generations. There is historic memorabilia throughout the property.

Babysitting available most nights. Pet sitting available most days. Outdoor campfire Cowboy cookout available most nights, western ham & beans cooked over an open fire in a cast iron with corn bread & a s’mores marshmallow bar for dessert. Call ahead to make arrangements! Horseshoes, corn hole, washers, fishing poles, bats, balls local books & more are available to guests. Come out west to experience the great outdoors. Don't stay in a cookie cutter box. Stay like a local in the early 1900's,( with a few modern conveniences). Elk & deer are on the property most every day of the year. Bear are likely in the fall.

Do not use map quest ect for directions. It is located at 430 HWY 89 S. It is four miles from Gardiner, not in Gardiner! It is in between the 4 & 5 mile marker. Please also see pics provided.
