Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, everything was great. Clean, well maintained with comfortable beds. All appliances worked. A few notes:Gas grill was a challenge to get started even with a Bic wand. Older guts and igniter might need replacing. I would challenge maintenance to stand in the master shower and open and close the curtain. Between thr heavy fabric curtain and extra heavy liner, the hooks keep coming off the rod and the liner does not lay flat. It ends up taking up much of the shower space. Changing it for a light weight liner and/or putting the curtain on a separate rod would make it a better shower experience.Indoor pool needs draining and a good cleaning. It had both a lot of blue plastic circles from the cover as well as stuff floating in the water. I was not comfortable using it.Theater space was challe ging to use. The wifi was slower on that and did not allow us to install new streaming apps.We did enjoy the firepit, hot tub, seating inside and out. Everyone one of us liked the cabin overall. I would have given all 5s except for pool and theater.

Beautiful cabin away from everything

I got a message about an hour before saying it wouldn't be ready til 5pm. Also, it's not in Pigeon Forge, it's closer to Cosby. Wasn't told this til it was booked. The cabin itself was beautiful and everything we wanted, I had 8 young adults with me. Be perfect for ones who want away from everything and doesn't mind driving.

And the pool wasn't cleaned either.didnt get in to house until 4.the bathroom upstairs toilet wasn't cleaned had hair on it.down stairs kitchen coffee pot was dirty had grounds in it .hide away couch had food crumbs in it.the cabin was ok .the management was a joke said would keep us up on the cabin .we tried to call back no longer answered any calls.we had to email them telling them that we have to buy more ice for food. Then they finally gave us a code to finally get in only had 2trash cans for 20 people had to call 3 times for trash pickup .

Once inside our cabin, could not express how clean, comfortable, and pleased we all were. Very spacious, with everything we needed. We were pleased with size of indoor pool, and all other things to keep us all entertained. Still had a pretty Mountain View, although a little farther from Gatlinburg than I liked. On last night there, we tried grilling steaks. Grill would not stay lite even though gauge to propane tank said full. That was only complaint I had. Would stay again just for spaciousness and awesome pool!!! Thank you to Elk Springs Resort for accurate listing!

Not as advertised

The cabin is nice but not as advertised. We were disappointed at things advertised to be in the cabin that were not there. There is absolutely no view!!! And the cabin next to us was so close. The bathrooms are micro in size and there is no storage in the bathroom. All the cabinets in the kitchen have dishes in them. There is no space to store food. So a cabin that is supposed to sleep 20 people, where are we supposed to put groceries? Also a very small fridge.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time overall. The house was nicely prepared. We had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. I have a large family and we needed a place big enough to all stay together so it was a perfect fit. However we were a bit embarrassed for our family to report roaches in the kitchen area of all sizes. Customer service offered to have someone come to spray but I opted out of that since we would then (all 20 of us) have to find an activity for at least 8 hours of our time and we had a infant in our group that has respiratory issues. There was a leak in the half bathroom downstairs and the air conditioner froze up upstairs as well. BUT we did all get to be together for that time and ultimately we all took precautions to ensure we didn’t take any unwanted souvenirs home with us and we were thankful for the much needed time together. Pool was awesome and hot tub as well!! Low scores for the bugs, unrealistic solution to the bug issue (offer to move your guests-my opinion), and the outside of the house needs attention.

40th Birthday Party Success

Reviewer Comments: We booked this cabin for my wife's 40th birthday party and host her family of 19, consisting of 4 families and age ranges between 5 and 70. We picked this cabin as it was set up to allow folks of all ages to relax and enjoy each other and it did not disappoint. The kids and parents loved having 24 hour access to the pool, hot tub and game room and the adults loved having a living room to where they could visit and relax. Cabin was great and only action item that we had was some of the furniture could probably use some TLC. Staff was super helpful and we would certainly recommend this cabin to others.

We were a little surprised to see the condition of the outdoor couch on the front porch. The cushions were dirty and worn. The gas grill was smack in the middle of the front porch so right in front of the door when you walked out. It clearly has seen some use and took awhile to get all sides lit. The carpet up the stairs and in loft could use a good cleaning or upgrade. There was plenty of space as advertised. The fire pit was hard to fit chairs around as it butted right up against rocks and the driveway.

Don’t waste your money

Check in was supposed to be at 3. They kept saying they would text us when cleaning was finished. Finally at 5 we drove up to the cabin. No one was there working. Contacted elk springs. After going through their telephone hoops you have to leave a message and wait for them to get back with you. When they returned my call they said the roads were too bad for the cleaning crew to go out. The roads were dry! They said they would contact cleaning crew. I asked how I would be compensated they said I would not. At 8:30 that night we got in. Everyone was tired and grumpy. The pool was 80 degrees. Contacted elk springs. Once again had to wait for returned call. They said that was within acceptable limit. Next morning the pool was 74 degrees. Pool room was very cold. Door to outside of pool room did not lock. On arrival hot tub was 66 degrees. Could not use. Mouse droppings in upstairs bath and also downstairs bed frame. Ping pong paddles had material missing. The paddles were under one end to level the table since levelers were missing. DVD player did not work. Cabin needed a good scrubbing. Very disappointed in stay!!! The whole purpose of renting this cabin was because of the pool for my grandchildren. Which couldn’t be used. They finally agreed to refund a little over $300 for the late check in. This stay for less than 48 hrs was almost $2000. Expected more. My daughter left her pearl earrings on the nightstand. Contacted them immediately. They said they would reach out to cleaning crew. Nothing. We all wanted to leave a review but they took it off the web site. Can you help with additional compensation?

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Right from the beginning we were off to a bad start. The pool in the cabin was the main reason for our vacation. When we checked in it was green and smelled horrible. Out of our 3 night stay we lost a day and a half of the pool.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Filthy, unclean and poorly managed property. Has potential. Unmade bed, no blinds, dirty bathrooms. Unfunctionable hot tub. Multiple issues over out two night stay, paid over 1500 and was only offer a 150$ refund which I have yet to see!
