A nice apartment spoilt by cigarette fumes
This is a nice apartment in a good location in Sheringham. It has parking included albeit very tight if all the spaces are in use. It is reasonably well equipped but lacks a freezer compartment and other kitchen items.
The big problem for us was the cigarette fumes that take over the apartment. As soon as you enter the main door of the property it reeks of cigarette smoke from the apartment on the ground floor. These fumes invade the apartment unless you have all windows open and a through draft. We closed the windows one night but had to get up to open up due to the build up of fumes. This is not easy to fix but despite previous reviews, there is very little in the way of deodorants or more lmportantly a proper air purifier. Finding a way of airing the hall and stairs of the main property would help greatly.
One final gripe is that we were expected to strip the bed at the end of our stay. This was a Covid requirement three years ago but not now. After paying a large amount of money for a weeks stay, I am not prepared to do some of the maids work to save cleaning costs.
