Our Spectacular Lake Sconti Condominium is located on the Lake with mountains in the background and the golf course. So close to the village and between the golf clubhouse and the State of the Art Fitness Center you can walk to either. You must visit Amicalola Falls! It is a given to catch at least one fish, while you look at the tranquil mountains. Slide the water slide and listen to the water from you deck overlooking lake. Ask about my free night special!!!!

Visit here for conferences, weddings or just vacation, it has it all. You will be totally absorbed by Big Canoe's ambience.Feel the Mountain breeze off the Lake and soak in the fresh air like no other has ever seen. Truly most beautiful place in the world. Come see why everybody says "We love Big Canoe" Located one hour from Atlanta. Only 15 minutes from Amicalola Falls or hike to our Upper Falls and see all the wild flowers that are named along the way. Just minutes from North Georgia Premier Outlets to shop or just enjoy the tranquil setting on the porch overlooking the Lake and golf. Walk to the water slide and beach in the summer and warm up to the fireplace in the winter.

This two bedroom, two bath is spacious and has a sleeper sofa with big screen TV. Sleeps six people comfortably with a King Bed in bedroom overlooking Lake and twin beds in the other bedroom.Enjoy the cotton sheets of highest threads and the best linens. Truly a Romantic place. Golden hardwood floors accent the stacked stone fireplace. Wake up to free Starbucks coffee and enjoy your free bottle of wine in the evening. Living room has double sleeper sofa plus air mattress just in case. flat screen HDTV on mantel in living room. If you are a bird watcher, this is the place, not to mention the deer you see everyday. Oh, BEARS! Well, maybe.

Beware

Unfortunately, despite the unfavorable comments posted by previous renters, we chose to reserve this condo because the location was perfect for the events we were attending. We found, as others before us, the condo was not clean or as described. There was no coffee or wine or luxury sheets. The bathrooms and kitchen were not clean. When contacted the owner offered to come clean them the following day after she played tennis. Not satisfactory. I wonder what she is doing with the required cleaning fee she charges? I am sure there are many places available in the Big Canoe resort that would be much more desirable than this one.

Peaceful Haven

I arrived to a clean well appointed condo. It is beautifully decorated, clean and neat. The lake view of the golf course and mountains is breath taking. The amenities of Big Canoe will bring me back again. I don't know what the person that bad review saw, but I experienced nothing like it. I am a well satified renter.

Disappointing

we rented this unit in june 2011. Several things were very disappointing. First of all, we inquired if the unit had wifi and owner assured us that it did. It did not. Owner said she had called the main gate so we could access the property. Main gate had no record of our arrival but they did let us in after some discussion. Finally, when we did arrive, the front door was unlocked and a lady was on the sofa! I called the owner to ask why it wasnt vacant as expected. The owner spoke with the lady (a family friend who didnt know renters were arriving) and the lady vacated shortly. But she left the trashcans full of soda cans and cigarette cartons, etc. On the plus side, after all this, we did enjoy the community.

Very cozy and clean 2 bedroom condo, the view of the Lake is so beautiful due to vista punning that has been done. All hardwood floors, and cozy fireplace must bring your own wood.
