Perfect for family ski trip

We had the best time staying here! The ski in/ski out aspect was incredible. You are steps away from 4’O Clock run which is the main reason we booked this house. It comfortably fit 7 adults and 2 toddlers. The bed sizes and room sizes were really great and we loved hanging out in the basement!

Great Location; needs updates

This property is in a fantastic location. It is 100% ski in / out. 30 seconds down to the snowflake lift and pop right in on the way down the 4’oclock. For us the property was fine and a great set up for a family of 4 traveling with an additional grandparent. Our only complaint is the property is woefully dated. Think mid-90s decor and furniture, wallpaper in bathrooms, etc. TVs from the early 2000s. Additionally the property is pretty beat up, it could use some serious TLC. Peeling paint, holes in walls, etc. We would certainly stay again but don’t expect something modern.

Great location but not maintained at a top level. Issues on ground level, chair by door broken, toilet runs, needs new internal kit, one of shower door missing. Main floor, bottom rack in dishwasher, cabinet hinge broken on lazy Sussan. They allow pets, and I think the owner has a dog that scratches on every door.

Comfy home, super good for ski on ski off!

The property was clean and looked as advertised in the photos. It is very close to 4 oclock run, making it easy to access snowflake lift. The trail is very easy to ski on the way back to the house also. Kitchen came well stocked, fireplace worked perfect, and the hot tub seemed pretty new. Would definitely stay here again. This was my 5th trip to Breck

Perfect size and location

Overall the property is a great place to stay and would stay again. There are some things that needs to be fixed such as the master shower door does not close because the latch and handle are not lined up with each other to be able to keep the door closed. Downstairs bathroom also missing a shower door. Great thing about what they do at this property is clean and refill the hot tub after each stay so you know you will have been the only person in that water. Plenty of utensils, plates, cups, coffee maker both drip and single serve type. It could use a rack or something to store skis and snowboards. It offered plenty of room for a group of 7-8. Pillows could be better but that is a personal preference.

Great location in a dated townhouse. Several maintenance/upkeep issues detract from the overall experience: Garbage disposal clogged w/in an hour of arrival. Outside grill propane bottle was empty. Dishwasher bottom rack was missing 4 of 8 rollers making it essentially unmovable. Bathroom tub enclosure had only 1 glass door. Unit needs some TLC.

Great Ski Location!

This house was super convenient for ski in/ ski out! It was easy to get to the snowflake lift or gondola from the run directly behind the house. It has a great basement family room with a big TV we watched NFL playoffs on. The kitchen was well stocked with just about everything you would need for cooking. The only bad part was the property is outdated and could use some maintenance. I let the property manager know about a couple things so hopefully they get addressed and then it would be a perfect property. I would gladly stay here again as would everyone else who was in my group.

Great location

Great ski in/ski out townhouse right on 4 o’clock run. Short walk to free shuttle that takes you to town. We enjoyed sitting in the hot tub watching the skiers go by. Beautiful picture windows overlook the slope and mountains. Gave only 4 stars for cleanliness due to some of the linens having stains on them but overall very happy with the home.

Great spot - needs attention

Great spot. Good for snowboarding/skiing. Needs some repair work though. One thermostat located on the middle floor controls all 3 floors. Makes the downstairs cold...middle floor perfect and upstairs a sauna. Windows upstairs dont really open since the sills and cranks are broken/rotted so you cant cool the room down to sleep. Other than that the house is well stocked with kitchen items, every room had a humidifier and there was a boot dryer downstairs. Hot tub was nice.

Great location and space

This is a true ski-in/ski-out condo. You are steps from the Four O'clock run. You do have to take skis off to cross the street to get on the Snowflake lift. If you want to catch a bus into town, that is an easy 5-10min walk down to the Nordic Center. We were able to get to downtown and the grocery by public transportation and a little walking. The condo is outfitted very nicely with plenty of dishes, pots, pans, silverware, sheets, blankets, towels, etc. There were even several humidifiers. We reported a few broken and worn things things to the property manager, so hopefully, those will be fixed. Lauren was great to work with and responded very promptly to questions.

Good Unit

Overall, we were very happy with our stay. The place was clean upon arrival, I missed the check-in e-mail but the host sent a follow-up email and responded within minutes with what I needed. The house was in good condition. Kitchen was stocked w/ everything. They have lots of towels and blankets throughout. Many reviews noted the place being dated. It's a ski cabin that's rented so there are little things here and there that could be fixed/updated but ultimately, they don't impact the use the place. Examples, the shower downstairs has glass doors and the rollers are broken but you can still close it, couch upstairs has very little cushion left in the arms and back but still sits fine, queen bed downstairs sinks in the middle but sleeps one person comfortably. The hot tub worked well and we enjoyed using it. This home is ski-in/ski-out, but I expected this meant ski directly to the lift and get on. This isn't exactly the case; you ski in off the 4 o'clock run right to the back door. Regarding ski-out. You ski directly from the back door down 4 o’clock run, take your ski's off and walk across a 2-lane road (not a busy road, we never saw a car drive down it), up a set of stairs (roughly 20 but never counted) and pop your skis on right at the Snowflake lift. It's really not bad at all but I was surprised by it. We would stay here again.

Great Location but Short on Expectations

The location was great. Could truly ski in, ski out straight from back door! But that is where it stops. As stated in other post, it needs to be updated. We found the large TV in the downstairs living area broken. Reported it. Nothing happened. Wanted it for a place for the kids to hang out. Disappointing. The kitchen is too small for a four bedroom, barely room for two people to work in it. It did have everything we needed though for cooking. The furniture in the main living space is old. You sink so low on the one couch, its tough to get out of. The overall cleanliness - or appearance of cleanliness - needs to get better. Wallpaper is pealing in the bathrooms. As I said, great location but just did not meet expectations for the price we paid.

Had an amazing stay with family & friends for spring break. The location could not be any better with the slopes & lift right outside the back door. Comfortable, clean space with plenty of room. A few things could be fixed up: most of the tv's didn't work; fireplace didn't work; no switches on any of the lamps. Otherwise, loved it!

Great location, comfortable stay

Perfect location for kids/beginners -- ski in/out was awesome. Kitchen was well appointed, rooms were comfortable, tub and grill worked great, host communication was great, check in and out was a piece of cake. Would definitely stay again. No, the furniture was not all brand new and no, everything wasn't in pristine condition, but everything worked and it was a comfortable place to be for a week with family.

Great Location

This is our forth stay on 4 o-clock run at Breckenridge but first at this property. The location is amazing and the property is great for ski-in-out. The house could use some updates and maintenance. The bathrooms could use an update and the appliances need to replaced (washer, dryer, dishwasher). Also most the furniture is worn and needs to be replaced or reupholster. We would stay at this property again based on location but expect more for the price.

Almost Perfect

We had a fantastic stay at this property and it really was almost perfect, especially for our group. I say almost because the contents of the home are a little outdated (kitchen, furniture, etc), it wasn't quite as spacious as the pictures might lead you to believe, and it could have been a good bit cleaner (most surfaces were dusty/dirty and the bottom floor a little dank). With that said the home was perfect for our 1 week stay and mix of 4 adults, 3 teenagers, and one pre-teen. I will say that trying to sleep any more might get a little cramped. The bottom floor where the kids slept (2 rooms, 4 beds) and basically lived worked out great because of the big living area and big screen TV. We came to ski but in the evenings they could watch movies or game out all they wanted (they brought a PS4). Meanwhile the adults had the middle floor kitchen, dining, and living area to hang out and then the top floor had the bedrooms for sleeping. The bedrooms and bathrooms were nice enough, no complaints there. The gas fireplace worked great and kept us plenty warm on the middle floor as it was late November and very cold. Of course our favorite feature was the hot tub, nothing is better than getting into the hot tub after a long day of skiing, and it's cold and snowing. So yes, the house was just about perfect for us. What makes this place truly special though is it's location, especially if you are hitting the slopes. The lower 4 o'clock run is right behind the townhome so when it's open it's a true ski-in, ski-out. We were there very early in the ski season so lower 4 o'clock hadn't opened yet (it officially opened the day we left) but there was enough snow and they had started working on it (blowing more snow, ploughing, and even some grooming) that we could sneak under the roped off section and ski back to the townhome. However most days we had to walk some of the way down to the snowflake lift. There are a lot of shuttle stops but the walk to snowflake lift was probably a little shorter for us and so it worked out fine. The townhouse is a short distance from main street and although parking can be hard to found driving our rental van the best way to get to the area. It was nice being so close to the main drag for sure, we skied 4 out of 6 days so on our off days we enjoyed shopping, eating, and drinking on main street. What a fantastic place to visit. All in all we would 100% come back and stay at this property!

Poor management & Cleaning gives this 2 stars even though a great Location

We would NOT rent from this management company again. Great location and plenty of room for our 6 adult & 3child family BUT extremely disappointed in the manager's handling of fireplace that didn't work, filth around outdoor hot tub, unheated hot tub, lack of cleaning, and general poor attitude. 1) Fireplace was broken and manager told us she knew since Feb but did not feel it was necessary to alert us that it would not be repaired before we arrived in April. After paying for 8 plane tickets to fly from south Fl to spend 3 days of snow and sitting around a fire this WAS a deal breaker for us. We would have looked for a different place. She had the nerve to tell us we were there for the skiing and not the fireplace. 2) The hot tub did not heat up enough to go in until the second day as it had not been turned on. We were told this was because the cleaning crew had just cleaned it. Oh? The rim was so dirty we had to wash it and there were broken bottles, dishes and glass all around it on the ground, and unfortunately our daughter cut her foot after stepping on a piece of the glass. 3) Dirty underwear and old clothes from previous renters found on hooks and stuck in sofa cushions. Although the manager refunded a very small amount after a lengthy and not-friendly phone conversation on the day of arrival, her attitude was inappropriate. We would highly recommend the area right on the slope BUT we would highly recommend finding a property from a different management company. in the same area...there are many to choose from.

Great location but property failed to meet expectations

The only reason I’m giving this property two stars is the location; it was so convenient to ski in/out. However the rental property itself was disappointing. From the start there were several things that went wrong: - There were strangers inside our property when we arrived; they started to unload their things before realizing they were in the wrong unit. When we arrived, they were moving their things back out. The property manager said they got in because the cleaners had not fully locked the front door, not good. - We found dirty towels and dirty underwear in the bathroom and closet. - There was dog poop, bottle tops, and cigarette butts on the deck. - Partway through the week, water began dripping through the kitchen ceiling from the bathroom upstairs. A plumber had to come to the property twice to fix plumbing. And clearly this wasn’t the first time there had been a leak based on the appearance of the kitchen ceiling. - The clothes dryer has to be pried open using a scissors or knife because it had no handle. - A grease fire started in the grease tray of the grill when we warmed it up. It was clear that it had not been cleaned out in a very long time. Overall the property had a run-down feel to it. It met our needs as far as convenience for skiing but is not a property I would recommend to others.
