DIE Davan - COTTAGE HILL IN PARMA

Die Davan ist unser Paradies in den grünen und Stille. Am Morgen Licht durch die großen Fenster des Wohnzimmers unser Frühstück. Von der großen Halle bewundern wir die grüne und die Jungen zu spielen. Sobald es warm ist die ganze Pool !!!!
Die Doppelzimmer sind klimatisiert und mit digitalem und Satellitenfernsehen.
Im Wohnzimmer gibt es das kostenlose WiFi. Der Saal im Erdgeschoss haben wir ein brandneues 50-Zoll-TV mit dem neuesten Generation digital terrestrisch, Satellit, Smart TV
Das Haus ist ideal für eine große Familie. Mit Mountainbike (einige von ihnen uns bezahlen) wendet sich an den großen Stirone Park. Es gibt zahlreiche Schlösser und Altertum in der Nähe von Castell ‚Arquato, Vigoleno, Bardi, Tabiano Schloss.
Die Stadt Salsomaggiore Terme ist das größte italienische Spa.

Nice location with little smears

Check-in was easy, the location was tidy and clean. Unfortunately the pool was not ready which made the kids sad but the weather before our stay was not good the host explained. The water pressure in the shower/bathtub is not very high. The host's father gave a little handcart to the kids which was very nice. It was a but unclear how to handle the different types of garbage especially how to deal with glass as there was no information or documents to look it up. The dining area outside invites to have dinner, lunch or breakfast there. The grill is very old and rusty and definitely needs to be replaced. Table tennis and football work fine.

Entspannter Familienurlaub

Wir hatten einen wunderbar entspannten Urlaub in dem schönen Haus von Luca. Besonders gefallen hat uns: - die sehr gute Ausstattung - die Fliegengitter vor jedem Fenster - der wundervolle, große Garten mit Obstbäumen und den vielen Möglichkeiten: Seilbahn für Kinder, Boulespiel, Tischkicker, Tischtennis, Pool, mehrere Ruheplätze mit und ohne Sonne - mehrere Sitzplätze, große und kleine - sowohl innen als auch aussen - sehr freundlicher Gastgeber und eine unaufgeregte/unkomplizierte Kommunikation - der leckere Hauswein! Wir haben den Pool im Garten sehr genossen, allerdings könnte der eine Überholung vertragen. Laut Luca gibt es dazu wohl schon Pläne.

Traumhaftes Haus in perfekter Lage

La Davana ist einfach perfekt! Ruhig gelegen bietet es mit Pool, Terassen, BBQ Platz, Kicker und Hängematte alles was man sich wünscht. Ein kleines Schmuckstück in dem man sich direkt zu Hause fühlt. Mehrere Supermärkte und gute Restaurants sind in unmittelbarer Nähe. Zudem hat man Parma, Modena bzw. Mailand & Verona nicht weit weg. Als Feinschmecker kommt man bei der Besichtigung einer Parma Schinken Fabrik bzw. Parmigiano Reggiano Käserei auf seine Kosten. Rundum ein traumhafter Urlaub. Vielen Dank Luca & Monia für eure Unterstützung und den großartigen Urlaub.

We had a really wonderful week. The house has so much rustic Italian charm. We loved it. The kids really enjoyed playing and hanging in the garden and pool. The zip line was a real bonus. The weather was really hot so we were grateful for the AC in the two main bedrooms and mosquito nets on all the windows. There was a powerful fan for the kids bedroom. We enjoyed exploring the local area in particular Bertolini cheese factory tour. We definitely recommend staying here.

Prima plek!

Het is een prachtige plek. Het wat afgelegen aan de randen van Salsiomaggiore. Eigenaren zijn zeer netjes en behulpzaam. Alle ruimte om te voetballen en te zwemmen. Ook in huis is er alle ruimte... kortom een aanrader!

Wonderful Family Getaway at La Davana!We absolutely loved our stay at La Davana. It was the perfect setup for our two families (eight of us total, with kids aged 10 to 13). The layout offered just the right balance of togetherness and privacy, and the beds were very comfortable.While some of the kitchen appliances and cookware were on the older side, everything was functional and we had no trouble preparing meals. But what really sets this property apart is the outdoor space—it’s phenomenal. From the variety of seating areas to the large outdoor dining table (perfectly placed to catch the breeze and cool enough to use even on hot days), we spent nearly all our time outside.There was so much to do on the property that the kids were never bored: foosball, a small swimming pool, table tennis, a zip line, and even soccer goals kept them happily occupied.And don’t miss a visit (or three!) to Gelateria 900 in nearby Salsomaggiore—it’s some of the best gelato we’ve ever had.La Davana was the perfect getaway for our two families. Highly recommended!

Hilltop Farmhouse Near Parma Lacked Adequate Air Conditioning

We did not enjoy our stay at this property. We reserved it for three nights but left after only one (with no refund and had to pay for hotels rooms for two nights). The house was so unbearably hot that we could not stay there. The property description says "the double rooms are air-conditioned," but it was unclear what was meant by "double room." We needed three bedrooms for our family. The only two rooms in the house that have air conditioning are the two rooms with queen beds. The third bed (a double bed) was in a loft over the living room and it had no air conditioning. The loft has no windows that open or even fans to move the air. We tried opening the windows throughout the house, but it did not help cool the house. Some of the windows would not open because the whole frame was loose, and some of the windows that did open had the shutters closed from the outside, which prevented airflow. The rest of the property overall seemed to be just as described, but we could not stay there to enjoy it. The host's family members however, who checked us in late after our unexpected travel delays, were friendly and gave us fresh apricots and eggs.

Séjour de retrouvailles en famille

Maison très agréable et très calme, très bonne communication à l’arrivée. Nous avons passé un bon séjour dans ce lieux magique. Nous avons bien sympathisé avec les beaux parents du propriétaire, qui sont charmants. Je mettrai 2 bémols, il est dommage que je n’ai pas su avant que la piscine était fermée c’était mon premier critère notamment pour les enfants. Et par ailleurs l’accès aux salles de bains n’est pas très pratique car il y a beaucoup d’escaliers.

Nice house in a beautiful place

Lovely house in a beautiful place. Located near the city with many supermarkets to make the fill of the fridge, but located far enough in the middle of the countryside, keeping calm charm and authenticity. For kids it was just perfect. There were, pong table, foot table, soccer pitch in the garden, tyrolean traverse were just incredible. The swimming pool was big enough for everybody and the terrace in the middle of the garden was just amazing, we were always eating there, we have never eaten inside. I recommend this house for a big family (we were seven people) but even for smaller.

Parmes en famille

Malgré notre voiture en panne, nous avons passés d'excellentes vacances dans une très belle maison avec un beau jardin bien aménagé et en plus avec une nouvelle piscine. L'environnement est calme et agréable. La région, relativement peu touristique, est superbe avec de très belles découvertes. Nous remercions Lucca et sa famille pour leur accueil et leur gentillesse. Fabulous property

Really lovely traditional property in a very quiet rural location.The villa is very spacious, clean and well maintained. The grounds are exceptional, with a huge amount of space including a covered eating area, a separate covered games area (including table tennis and table football), above ground swimming pool and a large area with a couple of small football goals. The grounds are fully enclosed and served by an electric gate, with ample parking within the grounds. The host and his family were lovely and kept in touch via WhatsApp in case we needed anything. They were also amazing when our flight was cancelled last minute ! We were a party of 4 adults and a toddler of 2 1/2 - she loved exploring ! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this villa and will certainly be happy to visit again.

This place is stupendous and the pictures don’t pay homage to the beautiful house! A car is required for exploring the country side or you can just enjoy the local food or rest. Luca and his family were fantastic! Awesome!

sejour familial parfait

Notre séjour en famille, 4petits enfants, 3 enfants et 2 grands parents a été parfait. La maison très grande même pour 9 personnes a été appréciée par tous et est très bien équipée, et était très propre à notre arrivée. Les extérieurs sont vastes et bien entretenus et les enfants ont apprécié la piscine, le ping pong, le baby-foot et tout particulièrement la tyrolienne. La maison est isolée et l'environnement calme et paisible La région, peu connue des touristes, recèle de nombreux sites à visiter et est propice à la gastronomie Amateur de vélo j'ai été gâté, autour de la maison il est possible de trouver de beaux parcours vallonnés dans la campagne et sans voitures En conclusion un séjour en famille plébiscité par tous, dommage qu'il n'ait pas été plus long!!
