Doesn't Get Better!

Joan and Al were perfect hosts. The house had everything you could possibly need. We did not miss anything. The rooms were cozy and comfortable. We loved having breakfast and dinner on the front porch and lunch on the back patio. Joan gave us great recommendations for activities in the area that we reallý enjoyed. If we get the chance to return to Kanab we will definitely stay here.

A dream

The house is wonderful, very and spotless clean, lovely decorated and has a perfect location for visiting Grand Staircase. Joan is a great Host, very nice and helpful, if you want. Highly recommended. If we‘re back in this area, we would book this House again

geräumiges, sehr sauberes Haud

Das Haus ist sehr geräumig, super sauber und komplett ausgestattet. Es liegt am Rande von Kanab. Zahlreiche Nationalparks (Zion, Bryce, Grand Canyon) liegen in der Nähe und sind innerhalb von 90 Minuten zu erreichen. Die Vermieter leben nebenan und stehen notfalls mit Rat und Tat zur Seite, wenn nicht benötigt, sind sie quasi unsichtbar. WLAN vorhanden.

One of my best VRBO stays

I’ve stayed in many vacation rentals & this was one of the best. Perfect location equidistant to Zion, Bryce & Grand Canyon. Tons of literature in the home about all there is to do in the area. Loved being able to set my own memorable door lock code to get in. Great accommodation: 2 bedrooms, 2 sitting rooms, 2 bathrooms, big dining table, etc. and a very responsive & lovely hostess! Highly recommend!

A perfect place to stay and enjoy Kanab

Mom's Place is like going to a friend's house who had just stepped out momentarily. It's a personal and cozy place, furnished and decorated beautifully. Everything you might need to stay for a while. Full kitchen, comfy bedding and bath... even healthy houseplants! Many interesting books to peruse, and birds to watch from the back yard. Joan greeted us and we had a lovely conversation about the place, her Mom and lots of other topics! A lovely and personal place to stay at a great value.

Wonderful stay in Kanab

My husband and I stayed for two weeks. We were so impressed how well this house was clean, equipped with all household items, and nicely decorated. We felt like staying at home of relatives or friends. Location was quiet, on the outskirts of Kanab but still convenient to everything. We liked eating on the front porch and look at the Kaibab plateau. Also Cottonwood trailhead was within walking distance. We hope to be back soon.

Mom’s place is lovely and comfortable. We would choose to stay there again. Host is super attentive.

Moms Place

We all felt like we were staying at our mom’s home. Clean, comfortable, kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to make meals. Quiet neighborhood, close to town. We LOVED our stay at mom’s place. Close to Bryce Canyon and local hiking trails and close to town. Kanab is an awesome town!

Calm and Peaceful Get Away

I loved the house. Everything was so clean and organized. This was the nicest VRBO I have ever stayed in. The owner has thoughtfully provided many special touches that enhance the charm and comfort of the rental. In addition to an abundance of nice towels and linens, there are cooking utensils, kitchen appliances, dinnerware, extra paper towels, a large assortment of spices, coffee and filters, laundry detergent and dryer sheets, extra trash bags, etc., etc. just to name a few of the items provided. It is a very peaceful setting. I enjoyed having a meal one night on the front porch. I stayed for eight nights and was sad to leave. It did not feel like a rental property. It felt like I was a welcome guest in the home of a friend or relative. I hope to be able to return again next year.

Wanted to stay longer!

We loved this house and location! The house was lovely, the beds were very comfortable, and the location was great! We loved being greeted by beautiful red cliffs every time we left the neighborhood to begin our next adventure. We would stay here again without a moment of hesitation!

This property is in a very quiet part of town. Everything is easily accessible. It is a huge property fully stocked with coffee and tea. It was very comfortable giving privacy and quiet to both of us. It is a beautiful place to stay.

I have lived in the area since 1978 but am originally from Oakland, California. I instantly
fell in love with Southern Utah! The landscape is like nowhere on earth and the sky is so
blue you'll wonder if it's real! I love the outdoors and always have. I love gardening,
hiking, walking the dogs and rockhounding. If you're a rockhound this is the place for you!
My husband and I love riding our motorcycle through Zion National Park! I worked for many years in drug and alcohol prevention education and now am part-owner in the local pet store.
We'd love to have you stay at Mom's and we can guide you to all the out-of-the-way
places nearby.

Mom's Place is actually that - my Mom's House. She moved next door to us from Walnut
Creek, CA in 2006 after my Dad died. She moved all her lovely furniture and belongings
into this charming single story home. We were very lucky to have her here for ten years
before she passed away last year. Kanab is a much safer place to live than California!

You'll love the layout of the home. First, everything is wheelchair accessible. The
livingroom/diningroom is light and spacious. The master bedroom has a "retreat" room
which we use as a TV/sitting area. You can sit on the front porch and enjoy the quiet
with views of the Vermillion cliffs.
