Pros: This is an architecturally stunning house on a bluff overlooking Kealia beach. The general location is great because you can access all parts of the island in about 90 min of driving. The views of the ocean are amazing. Since the house faces East, each morning, you can wake up to amazing sun rises over the ocean which you can view from your bed. We also could see whales surfacing in the distance. We were a group of 5 people and had plenty of room to spread out. There is even an office to do work if you need it. The kitchen was very well stocked for cooking. They have beach chairs, ubrellas, and a cooler for use on the beach. The rental agency was great to work with. Easy check in and check out. Neighborhood is very quiet.Cons: Since it is up on a bluff, the trail down to the beach is steep and difficult to navigate. The beach itself is for surfing and boogie boarding (no snorkeling). There are a few folks who live there and drive trucks right onto the beach (sometimes there was noise from loud sterios late at night). We mostly drove to the other beautiful beaches on the island. Be aware the house has no AC which was not much of a problem with the strong breeze, cool nights and fans with lots of windows.
