This is a large condo about a five minute drive from the main MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. It is perfect for one person or a couple sharing the one bedroom. The building is huge, but very quiet and peaceful all day/night and weekends. The condo is fully stocked with appliances, cookware and accessories to prepare any kind of foods. It is clean! More clean than any hotel or rental I have been in, and there have been many. The bed is also softer than any hotel bed Iâve been in at Holiday Inns, Hampton Inns and others. The sofa is soft and there is a large screen TV in the living room looking out 3 sunny windows into a courtyard. You have your own washer dryer, and a huge garden tub, double sinks and huge closet. The trash bin is right down the hall on your way to the elevator that goes down one floor to a tall gated, very secure parking garage - actual live security people 24x7 who are friendly and helpful, just as the office staff and the condo owners, Natelee and Jim. Natalee and Jim are excellent hosts and even came and installed a shower hose I needed after major surgery. I was left wanting nothing. There is even a secure mailroom for package deliveries, but you can arrange delivers to be made to your door if necessary. If you want a quiet, peaceful, healing place to stay and recover from surgery or just to get away, or canât tolerate all the cleaning chemical scents and noise in hotels, then this is the place to be.
