Hi, I’m Chris, the owner and host of Portrush Getaway.

I’m a family man with five children, and I understand how important it is to have a comfortable, safe and well-maintained place to stay when travelling with family. I’ve been hosting guests for several years and take pride in offering a clean, welcoming home where guests can relax and enjoy their time on the Causeway Coast.

Portrush Getaway is a family-friendly holiday home that we look after carefully and continuously improve. We aim to provide a peaceful base in a quiet residential area, close to the beaches, town centre and local attractions.
I live locally and am always happy to help if needed, while also giving guests the space to enjoy their holiday. My goal is to ensure every guest has a smooth, enjoyable and stress-free stay.

Portrush is a fantastic place to enjoy a relaxed coastal break. What I enjoy most about this area is how easy everything is to reach — you can walk into the town centre for restaurants, cafés, amusements and a stroll along the promenade, then be back in a quiet residential area to unwind.

The beaches are just a short walk away, with both West Strand and East Strand offering beautiful coastal views and space for families to relax. Royal Portrush Golf Club is also close by, making the area ideal for golfers as well as couples and families. It’s the combination of seaside scenery, local attractions and a peaceful neighbourhood that makes Portrush such a great place to stay.

What makes Portrush Getaway unique is its combination of location, setting and suitability for families. The house is situated in a quiet residential cul-de-sac, yet it is within easy walking distance of Portrush town centre, the beaches and local attractions. Guests can enjoy all the energy of a popular seaside town and then return to a peaceful home to relax.

Portrush is one of the best bases for exploring the Causeway Coast, with stunning scenery, historic landmarks and beautiful beaches all close by. Well-known attractions such as Dunluce Castle (3 miles), Portstewart Strand Beach and Golf Club (4 miles), Bushmills Distillery (6 miles), the Giant’s Causeway (8 miles), Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge (15 miles) and The Dark Hedges (16 miles) are all easily accessible.
