Ein Schlafzimmer mit Queen-Size-Bett, ein Badezimmer und Dusche, voll ausgestattete Küche, Wohnzimmer mit Queen-Size-Schlafsofa und Vermont Casting Gasherd, Waschküche mit Waschmaschine / Trockner. Wir haben auch ein kommerzielles Twin-Rollout-Bett zur Verfügung.
Die Wohnung wurde im Jahr 2016 komplett renoviert. Es gibt einen Flachbild-TV im Wohnzimmer und im Schlafzimmer mit Kabel, WiFi. Es gibt auch eine Feuerstelle und Grill im Freien für Ihre Entspannung und Genuss.

Dieses gemütliche 4 Zimmer, 1 Bad Apartment befindet sich in einer privaten bewaldeten Umgebung, nur 3 Meilen von der Innenstadt von Lake Placid, 1 1/2 Meilen von den Olympischen Schanzen, 5 Meilen vom Berg entfernt. Van Hoevenberg, 8 Meilen vom Whiteface Mountain und wenige Minuten vom Jack Rabbit Trail entfernt.
Die Wohnung ist sehr gepflegt. Es ist im Erdgeschoss unseres Hauses mit eigenem Eingang und einfachen Parkplatz.
Der Eingang führt zu einem Wasch- / Skiraum, in dem Skier, Stöcke, Stiefel und Kleidung untergebracht sind.

The hosts were really kind both before and during the stay. There was a huge attention to detail, both in the decor of the home and the way it has been maintained. There was a fridge and pantry and bathroom full of items for when we arrived, and the cleanliness of the property was impeccable. Lovely location as well, couldn’t recommend enough !

Anniversary/Babymoon Getaway

My husband and I got the chance to meet with Robert and Cheryl when we arrived, they were super nice! There place was the cleaniest VRBO house we ever stayed at. All furniture was comfortable! The had little chocolates on the table with flowers to greet us (& so much more). I was allergic to the flowers and they were nice enough to grab those for me. Only 8 minute drive to town. I could honestly go on and on! This was just a wonderful stay, would definitely come back!

Excellent little bungalow conveniently located!

This is cute, little apartment perfect for a couple on the go. Located conveniently just outside the village of Lake Placid this residence is also just 10 minutes to the parking lot at the Adirondack Loj. The owners are very friendly and go out of their way to feel welcomed with several special little touches. This was our third time staying here and we look forward to staying here the next visit. [P.s. If you are a runner, bicyclist, cross country skiier, or simply enjoy walking for your excercise this property will not disappoint. You'll be sharing a road with many other like minded athletes!]

Perfect in Placid

This is our favorite short term rental. Robert and Cheryl are wonderful hosts. This is in a quiet location outside of town. This place is always spotless and has everything you could need. The hosts are easy to communicate with. I couldn't think of a single thing they could do to improve. We stay here every year and we will be back next year!

Wonderful Stay!

The cozy mountain retreat is just that! It is picture perfect and my friends and i thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There were four of us ladies and we had a great time. The apartment was exceptionally clean. It is stocked with everything you could want from dryer sheets to eggs. The kitchen is well equipped for all kinds of cooking. There is a keurig with tons of k cups and drip coffee. The layout is super cozy and we loved the gas stove in the livingroom. The bed and bedding were amazing as well as all the towels you could want for the bathroom. Everything was super neat and clean. I was greated by the hosts when I arrived and they were just lovely. This place is a gem in a quiet and beautiful location.

Über den Gastgeber

Zu Gast bei Robert and Cheryl

We are both retired educators. Robert was the High School/Middle School Principal here in Lake Placid and Cheryl was an elementary teacher also in Lake Placid. In retirement we decided to remodel an apartment which is on the ground level of our home as a vacation rental for guests to enjoy the same beauty and activities of this wonderful town and mountains which we have enjoyed since 1988.

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

We love this property as it is nestled in the woods, only 1 1/2 miles from NY RTE. 73. It gives us the quiet we want with all the activities we could possibly desire within only a few minutes from our door. Robert loves to ski so with Whiteface Mountain about 7 miles away he can jump in the car and be there within 15 minutes. I enjoy the cross country skiing more so our house is located in the perfect spot. There are several "free" cross country trails within 10 minutes from our door. Also Mt. Van Hoevenberg is only 5 miles down the road. Living in this Olympic Town gives us the opportunity to volunteer at many of the special events (including World Cup) which take place throughout the year.
When we want to go to a store or out to eat, it's only a 10 minute drive. Our home is only minutes from the route where the running portion of the Ironman takes place in July. We just walk to the end of our road (about 2 min.) and cheer for the Ironmen and Women. It is quite thrilling to watch the athletes complete the final portion of the race.

We have enjoyed improving and maintaining our home over the years we have lived here. We enjoy our gardens. They seem to expand each year, attracting many varieties of birds and wildlife. After an active day we often enjoy sitting around the fire pit roasting marshmallows and sipping our wine. It's our little piece of paradise.
