Outstanding property for a fantastic stay

One of the best self-catering properties that we have ever stayed in! Immaculately clean, fully equipped but no clutter. Very well and tastefully furnished made for an exceptionally comfortable stay. Fantastic find

Absolutely loved Cedar Cottage. A home from home with everything you need. The log fire was so cosy. It is immaculate, perfect for our valentines break. We will definitely be back. Laurencekirk is a lovely place, with lots of great walks.

Absolutely wonderful!

Great location. The house was ,stunning and even though it was in the middle of town, it was so quiet. Very close to several must see locations. I’d definitely stay here again.

Wonderful holiday house

We can fully recommend Cedar Holiday House. We had a wonderful time in that cosy and very well equipped Holiday House in Laurencekirk. The owners are extremely friendly and take care about everthing. Simply, a great place to stay!

Brilliant Cottage in Laurencekirk

Very large and pretty apartment with everything you need. It's next to the park and the owners are very friendly and helpful. We loved the nature in the area as well, for example the beautiful St. Cyrus beach and Dunnottar Castle. We definitely recommend this lovely cottage. As a family it was perfect for us with a lot of space for everyone!

Perfect base for a visit home

This property is absolutely beautiful. Perhaps the cleanest property I have ever stayed in. It literally looked like I was the first person ever to stay there. The house is far larger than it appears online. Everything you can imagine is provided. Even a pint of milk to make tea and coffee. I will absolutely stay here again when visiting family and friends in the future.

Cedar cottage

This is a beautiful cottage, a right home from home with everything you need. The direct access to the park via the back gate was great for the children. It is centrally located to visit Aberdeen, Dundee and surrounding areas. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful House!

We spent two weeks at the property and can only say that the house was terrific! Just as in the photos only better….absolutely immaculate, lots of windows which allowed sunlight everywhere, beautiful outdoor space and a great location for exploring the area. AMAZING

A beautiful cottage very well equipped and extremely comfortable. The scenery in the surrounding areas are lovely. Lots of nice coffee shops and Dundee is not far away for visiting The Discovery Point which is very interesting. Our hosts Neil and Alison made a point of coming to see us to make sure everything was ok which it was. We had a lovely relaxing holiday.

First class cottage

Beautiful cottage finished to an exceptionally high standard. Beds very comfortable, showers amazing, kitchen well equipped, no dishwasher or freezer other than ice box in fridge but neither were a real issue.

The house was great ---- spotless, well equipped and in a very good location. We really had everything we needed. Our hosts were lovely and have provided lots of info for the town and surrounding area. There was only small issue when we ran out of hot water on the morning we were leaving.The lovely spot. hosts were very responsive, and I am sure had it fixed before the next renters arrived.

Very Happy

The home is beautiful, very clean, bright and comfortable. The decor and furniture are tasteful. The kitchen is well equipped with most of the necessary items for self catering being provided. We visited Banchory, Montrose, Edzell, Stonehaven, Fettercairn - all a short distance away. I would certainly have no hesitation recommending this property and hope to return sometime. The home is situated on a very quiet street and private parking is avialable.

Short break

The House was exactly as described and absolutely spotless. Everything you could want or need for a stay here was provided including wood for the log burner. The owners have gone out of their way to make guests feel very welcome with both communications and a wonderful welcome basket of goodies on arrival even taking the time to attend at the house to ensure everything was to our satisfaction and providing us with a late checkout on departure day. The property is furnished to an extremely high standard throughout. I would definitely recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a high end yet reasonably priced place to stay whilst exploring this area.

Ours sons wedding take 2 🎬

This was our second time staying at Cedar Cottage as our sons wedding was postponed from August 2020 to August 2021. We loved the cottage last year and had no hesitation in booking again for this year. The cottage is scrupulously clean and has a lovely decor/colour scheme. It is well equipped with all you could need. This year there was the addition of a freezer which we found very useful. Any communications with Neil and Alison have been answered quickly and fully. Although due to covid we’ve never actually met them, I feel I can say with my hand on heart they are excellent hosts, I wouldn’t hesitate in returning for another visit.
