Great place and location

We had a wonderful stay at the apartment in the abbey. The host was very accommodating and helpful. The apartment had everything we needed for a lovely stay and the location is perfect.

Amazing!

ThIs is a dream property! Incredible historic building. Clean, well appointed apartment with lovely courtyard view. Just a short walk to the village and located right on the shore of Loch Ness. Lovely forest trails through the temperate rain forest. I could go on and on. We did not want to leave!

Loved our stay in the monastery. The grounds, amenities and walking access to everything in town was fabulous. The only negative we had were the beds were too short for my husband and i. We are birth quite tall and couldn't straighten our as the footboard wouldn't allow you to stretch out. They were also too soft for our liking. Otherwise, loved our stay here were

Great location

Unique location ...close to Loch Ness boat tours, gas station/grocery about 2 blocks away and variety of restaurants. I recommend The Bothy for dinner. If you have anyone in your party with mobility issues....up multiple flights of stairs...you should move on. Communication was great and arrival instructions clear. Combo washer and dryer was the only negative experience we had...instructions were left but had never used one before and couldn't get the hang of it....surely my error.

Fabulous!

We had a wonderful time at the Monestary! The apartment is spacious, sparkling clean and the location could not be better! My children loved the pool and the grounds (with lots and lots of wild bunny rabbits). The apartment itself had four bedrooms (one is a sitting room with a pull out sofa) and a large kitchen/dinning/living room that over looked Loch Ness. Fort Augustus is a charming town along the canal with an excellent boating company for rides on the loch and a fully stocked market. You are also close to all the Highlands have to offer - I would highly recommend driving up the east side of Loch Ness and going to Culloden battlefield and taking a day trip to the Isle of Skye.

Absolutely wonderful!

The property was absolutely beautiful. There was no bad view, it was either Loch Ness or the courtyard. The town was easy to walk to with a few restaurants, ⛽️ station with a decent food mart and pharmacy. The apartment itself was clean and well equipped. Our beds were comfortable and we all slept well. There was plenty of space for our family to spread out if we chose to or all hang out in the large kitchen and family room area. We were late to arrive due to an airport issue but communicated with Mike who greeted us later that evening, showed us around and gave us all the info we needed. Very kind gentleman! The location was perfect. Easy to drive further up into the highlands or out to the Isle of Skye. Highly recommend staying here!

Monastery 13

Gary & Clare were really helpful when we needed information. The whole complex at the Abbey is in a fab location if you enjoy the countryside and scenery , we loved the view as you enter the living room/ kitchen each morning of the Loch and hills very peaceful!!! Great to have onsite table tennis, snooker and the pool.

Wonderful stay

My friends and I really adored the property and the flat -- staying in a former monastery was a unique experience and the location is great! The Highland Club has fantastic facilities, too. The flat itself was VERY spacious and immaculately clean. Our group of 7 adults appreciated that we had 3 bedrooms to use. The property manager who let us in, Mike, was on-time and extremely helpful in getting us settled upon arrival. We wished we could have stayed longer! Thanks Gary and Mike!

Hyggelig og anderledes ferielejlighed

Very nice apartment and complex. Very clean 👍

It would be good to have some extra towels available. Also we were happy with the condiments and coffee tea etc available but one thing that was missing was some pepper, just a thought for future guests. Thanks
