Dieses Seehaus befindet sich gegen Ende von Captain Rons Anwesen und ist perfekt für ein wenig Ruhe und Frieden, aber nah genug an allen Annehmlichkeiten von Captain Rons. Der Cannonball-Strand liegt direkt nebenan und bietet Spaß und ruhige Entspannung. Das Hauptschlafzimmer verfügt über ein Queensize-Bett mit einem großen Fenster mit Blick auf den See. Das 2. Schlafzimmer bietet auch ein französisches Bett und einen Fernseher. Das 3. Schlafzimmer bietet ein Queensize-Bett und das 4. Schlafzimmer bietet ein Queensize-Bett und einen Fernseher. Jedes der Schlafzimmer befindet sich im Obergeschoss, zusammen mit dem kompletten Badezimmer. Auf der unteren Ebene ist die Küche komplett mit Kühlschrank, Herd, Mikrowelle und Geschirrspüler ausgestattet. Das Esszimmer und das Wohnzimmer befinden sich an der Rückseite des Hauses und bieten durch das große offene Fenster und die Glasschiebetür einen atemberaubenden Blick auf den See. Es gibt ein Vollbad direkt neben dem Küchenbereich und einen Abstellraum mit Waschmaschine und Trockner. Wir bieten auch kostenloses WLAN bei Captain Ron, aber keines ist in der Einheit verfügbar.

Lake Time

loved the view of the lake from the large deck. Not bad for what it is, we had a great time. Rental property was pretty nice and close to Captain Ron's for food and drinks. A few things could be done to improve the unit. Quite a few light bulbs were out and they didn't have a trash bag in the outdoor trash can and no extra trash bags for the kitchen trash can. Like other reviews if you have a large group plan on bringing extra bath towels and lawn chairs. The unit sleeps 10 but there were only 5 chairs at the dinning table and a few patio chairs on the deck but 2 of those were so flimsy you would fall out of them if you were to try to sit in them. Thanks to the previous reviews we all brought extra towels and our own lawn chairs. Would definitely stay again.

Unit 56

The cleanliness was not there, huge black stains in the carpet in the living room , ashtrays full on the deck, bugs all over in the house spiders dropping from the ceiling. The patio chairs are extremely unsafe - they should have been replaced. One of our group sat down and the chair snapped and she fell backwards onto the deck. They only provide three towels per bathroom for a house that sleeps 8-10 and a four day stay. Not sufficient at all. The property location itself is perfect. Minimal walk to get to water which was nice. The location is not easy to find at all driving to home. Property management was available to call and walked us through finding the house. Overall its a lake house so yes there will be bugs ect but this home was not cleanly at all and the beds are terribly uncomfortable. Id have to say this stay could have been better.

Short trip with friends!

All in all, a good stay! Parking was a bit odd since it’s off of a boat ramp (cannot block) but overall we had a good stay. Plenty of space inside and desk was spacious as well. Had everything we needed for a modest weekend trip! We’d come back again.

Horribly broken down lake house, fire hazard also

We started in #56 on the property. Was told there would be a parking attendant to show us property. No one was there. Went to the Pirate Ron’s bar and grill, talked to bartender, host and manager all told us they were totally separate company, did not know where any of the cabins were. We walked around for a hour, with 5 children, looking for cabin. I called left messages NO ONE called me back. This all that was wrong with house. Got there big strips of electrical tape holding broken flooring down, kitchen cabinets sticky, downstairs bathroom turned shower on and water came pouring out of back, bottom shower Pan and knobs, none of the TVs worked, most of the outlets didn’t work and the fridge was warm and fireplace didn’t work. Called property manager they sent over plumber who told us the shower was rigged with tape pretty much. It rained 1st night and the ceiling started to drop in living room by electrical fan. I messaged property manager and they know of the issue!!!!! This was our vacation celebrating our adoption. They offered new TVs and to move us but with everything that happened we asked for refund. Packing up again, moving then unpacking would have taken another couple hours…….. it was a horrible experience. New TVs were brought so we were able to have 1 night of movie night…. It was a horrible experience

It was a disappointment to us, read on.

First off. We have had several vrbo stays. Colorado, florida, and missouri. Our home was to accommodate 8 people. (we had just 2) If you have over 4, you will be greatly disappointed. If you have 2, still not good. So.. it has just 4 kitchen chairs. We were able to locate just one tiny frying pan, maybe 8 inch. There is no: salt or any other, and I mean none, condiments except we found a half can of pepper-no saran wrap, foil, any cooking oil or spray , no fridge condiments at all. Most of you who frequent VRBOs know you always have basics and gladly leave behind what you don't want to take home. Found 5 forks and a couple of knives. The paper towels are rationed to 2 rolls and a couple rolls of toilet paper. Want to wash clothes? Forget it, no soaps or dryer sheets in the danky laundry room. Grotesque stains on the living room carpet, not shown in the photo. And there is just one tv in one of the 4 bedrooms, (I believe advertised is one tv in each?)never got the remote to work anyway. Want to watch TV in the main room, forget it, unless you want to watch a blue screen titled "no signal" because there are no instructions, never got it to workin any input or remote access. Wife wanted to shower upstairs, but found a lot of tiny ants around the drain, grossed her out so she went downstairs in the less than ideal shower with a bad showerhead.. There are just a few white hotel towels here, don't soil them because there is no laundry soap. Under the sink in a zip lock is a couple of dishwasher soaps, rationed. Bring a flashlight for the steps because the light bulbs are burnt out as is a few others. The wavy kitchen tile floors are busted and some taped together with duct tape. The patio furniture is cheap and very brittle, one chair if you lean back, it just gives out. Old and cheap. It is located directly on a boat ramp with a tiny pad to park on off the ramp, if you have a clutch, prepare to slip it a lot. I hate to leave a bad review, but this place deserves it for the cost. It is an extremely unaccommodating house, motels have more to offer than this. It is by far the worst rental house we have ever stayed in, by far, I was generous with the stars. If you stay here, inquire about personalizing the door digital lock.

Update

We like staying there because of the location. You need to update things. T. V did not work downstairs. Lightbulbs out in different rooms. Extra pillows but no pillow cases for them. Stains on blankets. A blanket was falling apart and it looked like a mouse got ahold of it. Not a full set of dishes or silverware. Old furniture. Deck was nice to hang out at night and enjoy the quite of the lake.

We had a last minute change and Teri was able to help us switch to a different home. It worked out perfectly for our group and the view and location was perfect. We will definitely be back!

Fun filled vacation time

Great place close to all the restaurants and bars. Easy access to lake. Captains Ron’s good is fabulous, loved the sand volleyball and the bands they had at night. Will definitely stay again.

Quick Getaway

The rental is just like the pictures. For a quick weekend this place was great. The location is wonderful with easy accessibility to restaurant, bar, rental company and other amenities. We did not leave the area for the whole weekend, there was no need. The location on the lake was also nice and not as buy as other areas. We felt safe in the water and able to boat and jet ski with no concern. This place could use a little update on bedding, blinds and outdoor patio furniture. We made the best of it and the accommodations were good. We would stay here again with a large group or just a family of four adults.

Do not expect much

Based on the pictures, it appeared this place had its own boat slip. It does not. It has a lot of boat slips and no where to get into the water safely. We had to get in at the boat launch which was extremely slippery. Two of us fell and scrapped ourselves. And the property was poor. To name some obvious issues; dirty kitchen and limited cookware, beds looked as if someone already slept in them and very uncomfortable, sticky cabinets, one days worth of toilet paper/paper towels/trash bags, flimsy chairs and a very poorly constructed deck. We made the most of it and had a good time. We definitely will talk about this one for years to come.

A perfect place to stay at the lake

The location and cabin were amazing! Plenty of room for 8 adults to relax and not feel on top of each other while sleeping and eating. Couldn't tell from pics but the deck was huge and perfect with some chairs and a table. The chairs were old and flimsy and the grill did not work. It was a bit difficult to find since the unit number is only on the door and was left wide open before we showed up. There is also no pics of the outside of the cabin but it is located at the end of the beach right before the boat ramp, hopefully this helps others who stay. Highly recommend everyone to stay here, it was exactly what we were looking for!!

Way above what I expected

Just stayed here for the weekend, with a total of 7 people. There are four rooms all upstairs and plenty of room. Some houses say they can sleep 7-10 people and really can only fit 4, but with the size of the rooms, it worked out fantastic. The deck had a great view also. The house was next to Captain Ron’s Bar, which made for a fantastic convince as volleyball, and food were literally right next to you. I was turned down by several AirBnB’s due to “no parties” and this location was understanding of our request. Gotta say I was concerned at first as why did this house accept us, but I have to say, this house is 100% above my expectations and would recommend it to anyone. Thank you so much, you made our weekend one I’ll rememver forever!

Family Weekend

The house is very spacious; plenty of towels; kitchen had everything we needed. The downstairs commode leaked and the bathtub/shower upstairs needs some tlc, which is the reason I gave it four stars instead of five. It is a lake house, not the Sheraton, so it was fine. The owners are very responsive. No one at their bar and grill knew which house it was, so it might be helpful to educate the staff about the property. We had a little trouble locating it. The house number should also be located on the side of the house facing the walkway.
