Das Richmond Beach House ist eine frĂŒhe viktorianische Villa mit vielen originalen Elementen. Bohemian Chic mit vielen eklektischen Möbeln und Charme gefĂŒllt. Es bietet die perfekte Kulisse fĂŒr Treffen mit Freunden und Familie, fĂŒr Wochenenden oder Sommerferien. Es gibt eine Terrasse im Innenhof - eine große Sonnenfalle und eine grĂ¶ĂŸere Terrasse mit Essbereich. FĂŒr diejenigen mit kleinen, ein in Trampolin eingebauter Garten. Wenn das Wetter sich dreht, ist das in Thanet selten, da es sein eigenes Mikroklima zu genießen scheint. Setzen Sie ein Feuer und machen Sie es sich mit einem guten Buch und einer Tasse Tee gemĂŒtlich.

Das Haus hat eine sehr große KĂŒche mit Essbereich, es gibt 3 EmpfangsrĂ€ume - einer mit dem Haupt-TV und 3 Sofas, der andere mit einem kleinen Fernseher und offenem Kamin und vielen Sitzgelegenheiten und schließlich ein guter Platz mit einem Schlafsofa, 2 bequeme StĂŒhle und ein Schreibtisch. Das Haus bietet Platz fĂŒr 11 Personen. Der Garten um das halbe Haus bekommt die Sonne fĂŒr den ganzen Tag. Es gibt eine Terrasse und ein versunkenes Trampolin.

Ich muss einige Buchungsinformationen hinzufĂŒgen. Owners Direct hat vor Kurzem seine Richtlinien geĂ€ndert und den Buchungsprozess etwas komplizierter gemacht. Hauptsache, wenn Sie sich fĂŒr ein Wochenende oder eine ganze Woche interessieren, ist es immer noch ziemlich einfach. Wenn Sie fĂŒr eine andere Kombination von Zeit buchen möchten, multipliziert das automatische Angebotssystem von Owners Direct die Tagesrate einfach, was nicht der Fall sein sollte. Perfect weekend away with friends

Perfect house for our weekend away - we were a group of 9 friends and it was a great size, layout and location for our get together. We especially enjoyed the walk along the coast to Broadstairs and back again and how close the house was to the harbour and town centre. the house was just perfect for our group, we loved all the interesting furniture and artworks. Fabulous group getaway

The house was amazing; beautifully furnished, really homely and comfortable. Great, well equipped kitchen and dining area, fab games room and living rooms, lovely bedrooms with comfy beds. The garden is also really beautiful and we loved sunbathing and playing table tennis outside. Overall a fantastic house in a great location and we would definitely come back. House is stunning!

Lovely beautiful house,which had lots of room for our group of 6 adults, 4 children a baby and 2 dogs. Really well equipped with everything you can think of and a thoughtful welcome package of Easter eggs and wine! Garden great size and secure for dogs and kids. Location perfect, a stroll to the Marina, beach and shops.

Fantastic family holiday

We had a great time from start to finish. Excellent communications and check in process. The house is a fantastic base for a large family group with masses of space and good facilities including pool and ping pong tables. Supply of beach towels is a nice touch. I would definitely reccomend.

Fantastic Spring stay in Ramsgate

We were incredibly lucky to have such beautiful weather for our stay in Ramsgate. We were able to enjoy the lovely garden, table tennis and multiple outdoor seating areas. Vivien’s place is amazing - beautifully decorated and stocked with everything we needed for a girls weekend away. Any questions were answered promptly by Vivien and we were very happy there. Easy walk into town and in a nice part of Ramsgate. Would definitely come back!

Weekend Getaway for Group

I was looking for a weekend getaway that was a short distance from London with lots of space. This house is perfect. From its quirky and well decorated interior, to its large backyard (with a grill!!), to the amazing host, this is the place. It was exactly what was needed after being locked down for months - fresh air and space. Highly recommend!!

A perfect house for a family celebration

A faultless experience staying in a large house full of charm and character. Great communication from Vivien the host, easy check in process, perfectly described house with more than enough space for our family of 11. Amazing to have indoor activists like the pool table to keep everyone entertained indoors and table tennis for outdoors! Good location, very walkable to the town and beach, nice quiet neighbourhood. Lovely house

We chose Ramsgate for our family holiday as it is close to London, Cambridge and other places we all live. The house is charming, very spacious, with many interesting ornaments and paintings to enjoy, and a lovely garden. It is set in the most attractive area of the town close to the seafront. We did lots of walking and visited the Ramsgate tunnels. Margate, Sandwich and Deal - all rich in history.

wonderful house

This is a gorgeous, spacious light filled house with an interesting and eclectic decor and a fantastically well equipped kitchen. We especially appreciated the outdoor space with lovely corners to sit out and relax, with a great space to eat outside together in the evenings. Everything worked well, the bed were very comfy, showers were great and we appreciated the generous provision of things like extra loo roll and dishwasher tablets, plus the welcome bottle of fizz. It was a very practical comfortable and welcoming place for our family gathering.

Great stay in Ramsgate

Property doesn't look great as you approach, however once inside it lives up to expectations in so many ways. Great kitchen facilities, 3 fantastic bedrooms and 2 adequate ones. Living rooms were good size as was the garden. Added bonus of a pool table in a decent sized games room. Although garden was decent size and there were sufficient seats the general condition of things such as tennis table, BBQ and seating could do with updating . However, all in all thoroughly enjoyed our stay even though it is approx a 20-30 min walk to the harbour area itslef.

good family holiday home

I am very fussy when I choose our holiday home for our annual family holiday and this one was one of our best. Plenty of space for everyone, garden very usable and sunny. Well equipped with everything we needed. Waitrose very close, easy to walk to town and beach. Small downsides just for info of others: Bedroom 5 is small. Parking in school holidays can be difficult to get a space near the house but we always managed in the end. Lots of shops, pubs and restaurants in the town, need to be a bit choosy where you go. Overall a very good place to stay and the sun shone on us throughout!

A really nice place to stay

I booked the Richmond Beach House for my wife's 40th birthday, with the family and we had a great weekend, all 11 of us. Such a lovely house full of character, spacious, well presented, well equipped...we were all so excited on arrival. Particularly the kids who all ran upstairs straight away to choose their bedroom. It's also really well positioned for quick access to the sea front and town center, so highly recommended. I particularly enjoyed the superb vinyl head record store at the end of the road :-). Great and very spacious house!

This property is extremely well equipped and very spacious. There were 10 of us and we could easily sit together in the dining area (where we spent most of our time). However there are 3 other downstairs rooms so there was plenty of scope for spreading out. The 5 bedrooms were all very comfortable and the 2 en-suites and main bathroom meant there were no queues! The garden was lovely and the children enjoyed the sunken trampoline. Waitrose is a 5 min walk and the town, harbour and sea only a little further. We had a good week.

Excellent place to stay for Ramsgate and Thanet

We (a group of 7 adults, a toddler and a baby) had an amazing time staying at the property. It’s extremely spacious with its two sitting rooms and the pool room (excellent table), as well as the fully kitted kitchen, and that is just the downstairs. Plenty of room for all of us to not feel we were on top of each other, especially with two smaller humans who had their own needs at very different times. Plenty of entertainment options were already there: board games, Xbox, tv, table tennis
 The spacious fridge freezer made having a tipple in the evening even easier curtesy of its ice cube facility! Waitrose is just a 5 minute walk away and a corner shop that’s even closer is open until 11pm in case you’re missing something. Also within 5 mins walk is the bus stop that takes you to Broadstairs or Margate, in case you want a different beach for the day. Any questions we had were very quickly addressed by the host. In a nutshell, we’d very happily stay there again!

Wonderful House

Stayed at this gorgeous property as a group of 'Seniors' (we called ourselves 'Crusties!") and we could not have wanted more of anything. The spacious house had everything we could possibly need or want - beautifully furnished and decorated with all equipment there to cater for all eventualities. The bedrooms were charming and comfortable and with four toilets, three bathrooms, we were happy campers! The location of the property is so convenient for the town - we were happy to park our cars for the duration of our stay and walk. We were grateful for the information provided by the Host - comprehensive and useful as well as interesting. We definitely would not have been brave enough to use the oven without her great instructions! The house is just stunning and every room oozes comfort and curiosity. Also, the garden is a delight - we enjoyed lazy morning coffees and late night debates sitting together! A most wonderful house - full of warmth, charm and comfort. i wish it were mine!!

Absolutey amazing and fantastic home to us and our kids for three wonderful months

We stayed in the house for three months as a family of six (four children at the age of 9 and under) plus a babysitter. The house was perfect for us, and we couldn't have thought of a better place to stay. It was absolutely fantastic! The house is super well equipped in all regards (it also a lot of games,); it is very spacious and beautifully decorated (just as if you would do it a thome, we felt at home right away). It has a lovely garden with an inground trampoline and table tennis table (all the equipment is there!). We - and the children - absolutely loved it. The house is situated in a very nice area (the best area!), with everything close by (e.g. a Waitrose, Asda supermarket, the harbour and beach, and lovely coffee places (we recommend the HIVE and the ARCHIVE). Vivien, the host, is absoiutely amazing, and if there is any problem, it gets fixed right away. Check-in and check-out was great. We can absolutely recommend this house to stay in!!! We will try and return next year. Thank you very much for the wonderful time at Richmond Beach House.

Fantastic property to spend time with family and friends and perfect for all year round.

I can’t recommend Vivien’s place enough. Everything was super easy and Vivien was very responsive with any of our questions. Great size house with all the amenities you could need! We especially love the fire place.

Fabulous house ! Perfect for a large family gathering

The house was perfect, the owner was so accommodating and happy to help with lots of recommendations and was so happy she was able to accommodate a late check out too! Beds were super comfy and so much room for us all to mill about with the kids occupied playing pool. Would definitely recommend and would love to stay again. A few minutes walk down to the harbour / sea front. Waitrose down the road what more could you ask for!

We are Nic, Vivien, Innes and Lachlan plus our dog Daphne. We currently live in Oxford. We loved living in Ramsgate and were all sad to have to move. We miss the seaside.
We own a few properties which I oversee. I also have a Catering/Cocktail Caravan which myself and friend Louise tour around the country doing events and parties. Nic my husband works in Sport.
We love to walk(kids under duress), cook/eat/drink and to travel.

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

We were living in Victoria Park, London and fancied some sea air so bought Richmond Beach House. We used it for weekends and School Holidays before we moved there a couple of years later. My husband commuted as the new high speed rail link had just been finished.
We were seduced by the sea, the people and the fabulous architecture. Ramsgate is a hidden gem and becoming less and less hidden which is marvellous for the whole area and community.

Richmond Beach House is beautifully located in a private but central location with a super enclosed garden and off street parking.
It is a 5-6 walk to the sea and also only 5 mins to the perfectly sized Waitrose down the road. Everything in Ramsgate is walkable with bars, restaurants and the Royal Harbour a stones throw away.
The house is a great size with 4 different areas to choose from for a relaxing, whether it be t.v watching, playing parlour games or X-Box there is plenty of space to spread out.
