An absolutely fantastic place to stay in the gorgeous Cotswolds! The cottage was furnished beautifully and had such a cosy atmosphere, with tranquil views over the valley from the upstairs bedrooms. The hosts had a very detailed booklet listing all the recommended restaurants nearby and places to visit as well as a lovely welcome hamper. The cottage itself was immaculate and we had a wonderfully comfortable stay.If we come back to the area, we would 100% consider staying here again! Thank you for all of your hard work in creating a truly excellent place to stay

Cosy charming cottage. Very comfortable with fully equipped kitchen, beautiful bathroom, lovely views. Quiet and peaceful at night. Lovely walks but quite strenuous as very hilly.

I’m so happy you enjoyed the cottage so much. It is hilly here as we are in the Stroud five valleys (also known as the Golden Valleys) but there are many local walks from the house without doing the big hills…I know because I hate hills!!!!! ;) And of course there is the famous Stroud canal waterways just five minutes drive from us which is obviously flat and we have two stunning commons just a short car drive away (Rodborough and Selsley) with plenty car parking and you can just stay on the top of the commons and enjoy the stunning views. If you come back I will tell you where to go locally for flat walks and we would love it if you did :)

The cottage was absolutely charming. It was warm and quiet and was a perfect base for exploring the areas around. Inside there were so many quirky, fun, clever bits of interior design to enjoy. And the hosts, Ann and Pete were delightful and helpful, living right next door. We thoroughly enjoyed our 4-day stay.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Our hosts were lovely people and the rental well appointed to self cater. It was not too difficult to navigate to the surrounding areas for sightseeing. Many areas to walk nearby as well. We enjoyed the local pub too 😉 Would highly recommend.

Beautiful cottage in the middle of the Cotswolds. Convenient to so many locations.

The cottage is beautifully decorated and has all the amenities you can think of. Conveniently located to many area locations and yet in a very quiet remote neighborhood with gorgeous views.

Oxford Cottage

We really enjoyed our stay in the lovely cottage. We’ve been hiking various pieces of the Cotswold Way, enjoying the bluebells, and coming back to the cottage at the end of the day. We’d definitely stay here again.

Lovely stay in the southern Cotswolds

We had a wonderful stay at this charming cottage. The property was clean, well-maintained, and beautifully decorated. The location was ideal, providing easy access to the Cotswolds and the city of Bath. Additionally, having a quality pub just a 5-minute walk away was a great bonus. Absolutely best place we have ever stayed. Cozy, well appointed, beautiful village. Generous welcome basket with cookies/snacks and helpful welcome folder. Ann was available, helpful and kind. Would have stayed longer if we could have!Narrow roads for us Americans - but worth the views. Our favorite activity was walking to the nearby park/playground and discovering the footpath. Hilly, adventurous and found some sheep and donkeys.
