'Harbourways' ist ein einzigartiges, helles, geräumiges, neu renoviertes Architektenhaus. Das Hotel liegt im Herzen des Nachbardorfs Emsworth und neben dem schönen Mühlenteich. Beautiful home, great location

The house accommodated 11 family members with lots of space. Large living and dining area with TV, books, piano and guitar. Kitchen was well equipped. Very good communication from the owners and they were very quick to reply. Lovely village easy to walk around. Flintstones cafe was excellent. A five star experience.

Far from 5*

Check in was straight forward, key in a keysafe by door. Dirty house, beds, cutlury, plates, greasy oven trays and pots. Very run down, badly maitained throughout. We were six people, the house could not realisticly accomodate more than 9. Spare beds kept in garden shed next to compost bags. Sadly I can not upload pictures. Left a lot to be desired. Maybe ten years ago it was almost 5* if it was ever cleaned properly. Emsorth andthe surrounding areas are very picturesque. It was waliking distance to the town, thankfully.

Fantastic property and manager, poor app and hard to contact

I cannot fault the accommmodation or the property manager, they were exceptional so please do not hesitate to book with the accommoodation. Vrbo however is not the easiest of apps to book with.

Great place for staying with friends

We booked this property for a mini getaway for a group of friends. Great place, great location, great host and the walks to the seafront are so close whilst being able to pop into nearby towns for other things to do.

Perfect property for family holiday

We had a lovely family holiday in a great location. As a three generational family, the open plan layout of the property was perfect for spending quality time together. The location is excellent being only a short walk to both the beach and Emsworth. We were lucky with the weather so made the most of the beach each day. The garden was great for the children and our family dog as it was securely enclosed. Martine was a good host checking in with us whilst we stayed. A great time was had by all.

Family Holiday

The property is spacious with a great kitchen and living area for an extended family. Lots of toys and books for young children to enjoy. The enclosed garden has a slide, climbing frame, outdoor toys and small chairs & tables for children. An outdoor dinning area is also available for adults with a barbecue. The property is in an excellent location for short coastal walks, which can incorporate the harbour at Emsworth. Emsworth is a pretty village by the sea (10 minute leisurely and pleasant walk from the house) with an arrange of facilities, shops, restaurants, pubs etc. I would recommend a reservation at Nicolino's Italian Restaurant for fabulous fish dishes. There is a large Tesco in Havant (10 minutes by car). Hayling Island provides a traditional seaside environment with pebble beaches whereas West Wittering provides a wide sandy beach with shallows (great for young children) but its popular so book your car space beforehand online or alternatively, turn up early!

Had a lovely week in this substantial property which is perfectly located. The house has ample room and facilities and sits just a few minutes walk from the sea and woods. The location is perfect. Emsworth is a pretty and thriving town that has a number of very nice pubs and restaurants as well as a butcher and greengrocer and supermarket. The beach side walk from the property into the town I take about 20 minutes and is lovely. All in all a great stay.

Great house

Great house with everything you could need. Perfect for all ages (we had 6 adults, a 2, 5 and 6 year old) everything there for toddlers and young children - baby gates, high chairs, toys etc. Great location and nice little village and beaches a short drive away. Sun loungers would be a good addition. Overall a fab place to stay.

Incredible property in a perfect location

We have just spent a long weekend at this fantastic property and enjoyed every minute of it. Emsworth is a wonderful village with plenty of amenities whilst the local transport services (we used the train) into Portsmouth or Chichester are easily accessed and run at regular intervals. The property itself was an absolute pleasure to stay in with all the necessary resources available. The property was spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable to stay in. A real home from home. Would love to come back one day.

We had a lovely stay at Harbourways. The house is spacious, comfortable, bright and cheery. The kitchen is lovely and the garden has lots of fun games and toys for children. Spacious, clean, homely

A lovely large house with amazing kitchen and log fire. Beds were comfortable and lots of hot water, all wrapped up in a wonderful location. Great place to take chlldren and dogs. Nice walks along the Quay into Emsfield where you will find some good 'foodie' pubs, gift shops and supermarkets.

Great Stay lovely village

Dear Martine, thank you for a great stay. We absolutely loved 'Harbourways', set in an idyllic position in the heart of Emsworth in a no-through road (except by foot to the beach). The house itself was exceptionally cosy and comfortable, very well equipped and easy to live in, we all loved the space. If you are looking for a unique and beautiful space to hold a family gathering, look no further. The outdoor space is also beautiful and great for the children or a chilled drink. I Googled the road before our visit - it's the most sought after road in Emsworth - when you arrive you will see why. Looking forward to our next visit in the New Year. Thank you again.

Everything you could ever need!

We had a fab time at Harbourways this weekend. We were very lucky with the weather and the house lended itself perfectly with the bi-fold doors and sun trap garden. The house had everything you could think of from fully equipped kitchen to games and kids toys, it really has been well thought through. Martine’s communication throughout was brilliant as well. Really spacious, beautiful house. Like home from home

Perfect location for walks along the water and lunch in town. Really well equipped kitchen and house is beautiful and spacious. We had a perfect weekend with the boys playing golf whilst we visited gunwharf for some retail therapy.

Home from home

Great venue for extended family gathering. House was lovely and cosy, and had everything you might possibly need. The location was ideal with so much to see and do locally, and a little further afield. All in all a great family home.

Harbourways is a unique and spacious architect designed home. Bright and spacious with flexible accommodation it is the perfect venue for a family holiday. New for March 2018, additional large cooker! Enjoy a brisk walk along the foreshore or saunter into the village and immerse yourself in village life, popping into the local deli or butchers. An ideal place to chill out and relax with your family. We're dog-friendly too!

'Harbourways' is a unique, modern, architect-designed luxury high spec home. Bright, spacious, cozy and comfortable, this space has proven to provide an environment to suit all needs. Set in the heart of the sought after village of Emsworth and adjacent to the beautiful Mill Pond it also boasts excellent transport networks: bus and trains 2 and 6 minutes walk respectively. 2 minutes walk to the shore and an exceptionally well equipped fishing village containing: restaurants (from good value eateries, kebab,pizza, Italian, Indian, Chinese, fish and chip shop, through to Michelin Star), cafes, 8 pubs, butchers, banks, hairdressers, charity shops, gift shops, delicatessen, large Co-op with post office, Tesco, cobblers, chemists, great antique shops, book shops, dry cleaners, ironmonger, museum, bicycle shop, doctor's surgery, sailing clubs, garages, petrol station and more.48 ft long lounge opens via V-fold doors onto a large south facing garden and lawn.Spacious bespoke Ash and quartz kitchen open out to the garden via 15ft oak French doors. American style fridge freezer with drink/ ice maker, all mod cons including built-in convection, microwave, steam ovens lots of spare cooking utensils, cutlery, glasses, and tableware. Additional items include ice cream maker, slow cooker, toaster, fondue, chocolate fondue, popcorn machine and food warmers. Fresh ground coffee always available. Separate quartz breakfast bar with new black leather bar stools is a great addition.

One of the beauties of this house is the flexible sleeping accommodation comprising 4 large bedrooms. Upstairs a 30ft long family bedroom, a 20ft triple children's room and the 3rd bedroom with Queen Size or Zip and link bed all with new carpets.
