Das Hotel liegt im ruhigen Dorf Ullock mit über einem Hektar großen kultivierten Garten für Sie zu genießen, mit Teich und Packhorse Brücke. Private Autofahrt mit ausreichend Parkplätzen, Terrasse mit Blick auf das Tal, in der Nähe von Cockermouth und der unberührten, ruhigeren Seite der Seen. Loweswater ist nur eine Fahrt entfernt. Alles auf einer Ebene, gemütlich und warm, mit Gartenblick aus den Fenstern, ideal für die Vogelbeobachtung.
Die Eingangshalle führt in ein gemütliches Wohn- / Esszimmer mit Fenstern auf 2 Seiten einen Fernseher, DVD-Player und Radio, und die Küche ist komplett mit allen Elektrogeräten ausgestattet. Breitband ist auch vorhanden, und Bücher und Führer sind dort für Sie zu verwenden. Die volle Zentralheizung ist inbegriffen, um Sie an den kühleren Tagen warm zu halten.
Das Schlafzimmer hat 1 Doppelbett, Kleiderschrank und alle Bettwäsche ist im Preis inbegriffen. Wäscheservice ist vorhanden.

Peaceful and Relaxing Stay Away from the Hustle Bustle.

It’s a fantastic place to stay in a peaceful and secluded little sanctuary on the outskirts of The Lake District. Cockermouth is 10mins drive to get groceries (lovely butcher and bakery), perfect for exploring the Western part of The Lakes and seaside nearby. Marion and John are such warm, thoughtful and super friendly people. The apartment is lovely, very clean, warm and well equipped with a view of birds coming to feed themselves near the window in a beautiful garden with the view of sheep on the hill opposite. Thank you both so much for your generous hospitality and we look forward to coming back soon to visit such an idyllic little corner of The Lakes.

Great place and hosts

We had a great 4 night stay here. The apartment had everything we wanted, and the lovely gardens were an added bonus. The location is ideal for visiting Buttermere, Loweswater and Ennerdale. Very friendly hosts and the wine and chocolates were much appreciated.

Holiday at Treetops

We had a lovely and relaxing stay in an excellent location. The accommodation was everything we could wish for and extremely comfortable. Our hosts were very welcoming and could not have done more to make our stay better. We will certainly return to Treetops next time we visit the area.

Excellent stay at a perfect location

The cottage was perfect and had everything we needed, located very close to the Wainwrights we needed to do, as well as some great coastal walking. Wonderful hosts, very attentive and helpful with our check in, extremely friendly. Lovely stay

We had a lovely week here- the house is very comfortable & well-equipped, great to come back to after a day out. We enjoyed the interesting artworks (and even bought one of Marion's beautiful paintings!) The welcoming goodies were a real holiday treat. The garden is gorgeous, and so much of it to explore & enjoy. Marion and John are excellent hosts-so friendly & helpful whilst still being aware of giving us privacy. We would very happily come back. Wonderful apartment and welcoming hosts

The flat was perfect for what we wanted to do in the lake and surrounding areas, it’s situated in a brilliant spot and the village it is very quite and peaceful. Marion and John are one of the lovliest couples I’ve ever met and were more than happy to suggest places to go and see! I honestly fully recommend this as a break away.

Little Gem

Well equipped garden apartment with very hospitable hosts, will be staying again! I found John and Marion warm and friendly and genuinely concerned I had everything I needed for a great stay. Their garden grounds are delightful and filled with wildlife and flowers out of every window. Their location is quietly tucked away from all the bustle but not a mile from stunning views and a glorious and surprisingly short drive into the heart of the Western Lakes. I had a lovely stay, wish it could've been for longer! Hopefully next time!

Beautiful grounds

Lovely break away in a super little apartment. Lots of wildlife to be seen from the window and near to our favourite lakes Loweswater, Buttermere and Crummockwater. Very kind and thoughtful hosts with a lovely welcome package on the night of arrival. A very comfortable bed too!Thank you so much.

Idyllic.

A lovely, warm and cosy place. Well furnished and equipped. Set in a wonderful location, with the house surrounded by a plethora of trees, bushes, flowers and plants. Star of the show is the tree stump covered in bird feeders outside the window. Eating breakfast as the birds come and go puts a smile on your face every morning. It's very tranquil too so after a day of walking, cycling or climbing it's the perfect retreat to come back and relax in. Marion and John are always on hand for help or advice on where to go etc. and are such warm and friendly people, nothing is too much bother for them. We had a great stay, wished we could've had longer here.

Lovely little apartment in a great location

We stayed in Treetops for a few nights and loved it. The Wilson's were brilliant hosts and made us feel very welcome, and the tourist information pack in the room had plenty of great walk ideas. Located a few miles from Cockermouth, and about 30 mins drive from Keswick, Buttermere and Ennerdale it was great for day trips. Although we stayed in winter, in the warmer months it would be a lovely, peaceful place for sitting out in the garden on a night time to relax.

Quiet Retreat

From arriving at the property to leaving, was a joy, a real home from home. John and Marion were wonderful hosts, pleasant and friendly and went the extra mile to make our stay comfortable, wanted for nothing, weather was not the best which in October is not to be expected but Treetops is a pleasant place to stay, will look forward to a return visit in the better climes so as to enjoy the gardens

Excellent holiday location and accommodation

We had a very fine holiday; the accommodation was comfortable - the bird feeder just outside the apartment was great entertainment at mealtimes! The garden was a great attraction too, with the beck running alongside and plenty of peaceful places to sit and listen to the birdsong. A fine pub just a mile's walk away in the adjacent village of Dean, and Ullock itself is well located for access to the the National Park. Marion and John made us very welcome - and even arranged excellent weather for us ....!

We have lived in the village for over 40 years, and love to welcome visitors to our cosy peaceful home for their holiday, and have a wealth of local knowledge to enable you to enjoy your stay here.

We built this house ourselves, and the apartment has been available for letting for over 20 years, with many people coming back year after year to enjoy walking the fells, or just relaxing and exploring the lakes, coast, and local towns.

In a small rural village, we are just 5 miles from Cockermouth, and within easy reach of the Northern lakes, Loweswater within 4 miles, Buttermere and Crummock a short drive away. Keswick only 20 miles away. A wealth of wildlife in the extensive gardens, with a variety of birds and even red squirrels feeding just outside the window. A stream with packhorse bridge, pond and woodland path all there for you to enjoy when you arrive.
Pubs in the neighbouring villages of Dean and Branthwaite offer good food, just a short walk on warmer evenings.
We live on the premises and will be here to welcome you, and deal with any queries you may have.
