Ein herzliches Willkommen erwartet Sie im Weavers Cottage - ein Cottage mit zwei Schlafzimmern auf dem Grundstück von Kim & Peters zu Hause in dem ruhigen Ort Minchington, kommen Sie und entspannen Sie sich für ein paar Tage! Wir bieten ein komplettes Selbstversorger-Erlebnis, ABER wenn Sie nicht Lust haben, zu kochen oder eines der vielen ausgezeichneten Gaststätten in unserer Gegend zu besuchen; Sie haben eine dritte Option - nutzen Sie Kims Dienste, eine hausgemachte Mahlzeit könnte auf Sie warten, wenn Sie am Ende des Tages zurückkommen - Sie passen Ihren Urlaub an Ihre Bedürfnisse an. Sie haben auch die Nutzung einer kürzlich renovierten Scheune, wo Sie ein Kino-Stil-Erlebnis haben können, und vor / während / nach dem Film, warum nicht selbst zu einem Drink oder zwei an unserer Ehrlichkeit Bar helfen ... Eine riesige Auswahl an Blue Ray DVDs ist verfügbar, aber Sie können Ihre eigenen mitbringen.

Beautiful, comfortable cottage and very lovely hosts.

The old and charming cottage was renovated with lots of love and offers the hole comfort you need on holidays. The picnic site gave us the chance to have a barbecue when the days were warm and in the fully developed barn a bar and a big screen were at hand. Kim and Peter are adorable hosts and didn’t only surprise us with a little gift at the beginning, they also gave us many suggestions to explore the environment, in a very open minded and kind way. Thank you a lot Kim and Peter

Beautiful, comfortable cottage and very lovely hos

The old and charming cottage was renovated with lots of love and offers the hole comfort you need on holidays. The picnic site gave us the chance to have a barbecue when the days were warm and in the fully developed barn a bar and a big screen were at hand. Kim and Peter are adorable hosts and didn’t only surprise us with a little gift at the beginning, they also gave us many suggestions to explore the environment, in a very open minded and kind way. Wonderful cottage

We stayed at Weaver’s cottage for a lovely sunny Easter weekend. We were in the area for a family wedding and we couldn’t have been happier. The cottage is very welcoming and comfortable with everything you could possibly want. The cottage is very clean, well equipped with comfortable beds and beautiful bathrooms. The entertainment barn is wonderful although we didn’t have time to use it. There is a lovely seating area with table in the courtyard outside the cottage which is ideal for alfresco dining or just for relaxing. The surrounding area is really beautiful with lots to do and see, we would love to return to explore further. We had a lovely meal at the Museum inn pub which is a five minute walk from the cottage. Our hosts were very welcoming when we arrived and communication with them before visit had been very good, the directions to the cottage were great and easy to follow although the blue plaque on the clay wall is no longer there. We can’t recommend Weaver’s cottage highly enough and hope to return one day.

Best cottage yet

We were made to feel very welcome by our hosts who were very informative about the property and the location.We found it to be a very comfortable cottage with a lovely flow to it.The piece de resistance was the full use of the barn which was a virtual cinema with a full sky package..Perfectly located for the south coast and many walks nearby.The museum pub was only a 5 minute walk down the road with a nice menu. I am sure we will be visiting this property again in the future.Many thanks for sharing this property with us Kim

We moved to Dorset in 2001 from Walton-on-Thames in Surrey. The reason behind the move was that we had owned a holiday cottage in Uploders, Bridport, West Dorset for many years and it was getting harder and harder to leave on a Sunday night! The children were still very young, and therefore we did not encounter any teenage rebellion!
We initially moved to Piddletrenthide in West Dorset, and then in 2007 we found our home in Minchington (after 3 years of searching!)… we renovated the cottage first, which we lived in as the renovations for the main house and barn took place.
We decided to start renting out the cottage in September 2013, and have been enjoying the experience of meeting new people from all over the UK and overseas, and more importantly, welcoming them back!

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

We took so long to find our home because we had a huge tick list!..
Our home ticked all the boxes, and still does - we simply love it.
The situation is just perfect - beautiful walks, lovely country pubs and to be surrounded by nature every day has to be good for you, but then to be able to be walking by the sea-shore in just over half an hour is very special too.
I think I have waxed lyrical enough - hopefully you will be able to capture some of the feelings I have tried to express!
