Nice location with its own private dock which we took full advantage of. The house itself is a bit dated and could use some upgrades, including a proper fire pit area and even having a hot tub available. Also the remote control to the cable box is broken which was quite frustrating to try to use and needs to be immediately replaced.

Lovely lake home

Very cute and comfortable home, which easily accommodated our group of 4 couples. We enjoyed the board games, indoor fireplace, and outdoor fire pit.

Nice stay for families with older kids

The house was very conveniently located and had a beautiful view of the lake. The private dock was also great. There are a lot of stairs just to get into the house, which wasn't an issue for us but something to consider if you have mobility issues.

Perfect for family vacation

Everything was nice and just as described. Plenty of room for our whole family. I would let guests know there are extra chairs under the bed. We found out the morning we were leaving.

Cozy House on the Lake

We had a great long weekend! Loved sitting on the upper deck and drinking our coffee in the morning. The swing on the lowers deck is a nice touch. The kitchen is fully stocked to make all 3 meals each day, which we appreciated. We’d love to go back in the winter.

Perfect Deep Creek Getaway

This property is perfect for a group of friends or family. The main floor is spacious and welcoming enough for everyone to hang out in but there are enough rooms to get some space at the same time. Everything was clean and up to date. The only issue we had was that a hot tub was listed on multiple sources, but there was no hot tub to be found. I would absolutely suggest this property to stay in while in Deep Creek!

Great Lake house

Our family had a great week. The house was in good repair had huge decks to sit outside and plenty of furniture. The bedrooms accommodated all of us without a problem. The trip up and down the stairs with all of our luggage was quite exhausting. Another concern was how fast the vehicles traveled up and down the road in front of this house especially for the safety of the children we had with us crossing the road to get to the dock. We couldn’t catch any fish here. All in all, this property was as advertised and a good time for us.

Not honest listening

The image of the property was misleading. Apparently, this property is much older with no driveway to park your car properly. The stairs you have take to enter the property are very steep. Inside stairs are not better. Property was not cleaned properly; nasty fridge (we had to wipe first) linens are blankets are old and wrinkled up (over used). The property manager knew there were 9 people coming including children. They didn’t even provide hand soap, dish soap, or laundry detergent. Neither was a single trash bag. For the price we paid, we expected a better place and decent service. There were enough towels, running water (hot and cold), internet service, good lighting.

Long Weekend Stay

Overall not a bad experience. The septic was overflowing when we arrived and running down the hill near the steps where everyone enters but I will say management got people in quickly to fix it after being notified. The air conditioners in the house worked when they felt like it so I wouldn’t count on them if staying in warmer months, but it cooled off at night for windows and screen doors (but need to watch doors as we did have a bear come onto the porch late one night, I wouldn’t recommend leaving them open when sleeping). From a collective poll the beds are all very hard/old and uncomfortable. There was definitely some quick cleaning happening between stays because we arrived to comforters with marshmallows melted in and what we assumed was Nutella (hopefully) on them, trash under beds etc. I would not even ask about extending the check out time of 10 AM they would not allow 1-2 additional hours and rather wanted us to pay well over 100$ to leave later. Aside from that, the location is great, the private docks great, and the neighborhood peaceful.

This property was beautiful and suited all of our needs but could definitely use some A/C. It was very hot while we were there and the fans just weren't enough. Great views and loved the lake access.

This location is on the lake, but dont let the pictures fool you, there is a road between the cabin and the lake. Very steep hill and lots of stairs to get to main floor. Not a deal breaker but something to keep in mind. The quality of the furniture and elements within the home were most concerning to me. Upon arrival, we decided to move a table in front of the pull-out sofa. We learned it was completely broken at the support leg. Someone had just placed the broken support between the table and floor balanced underneath to hold it up. I had to report it to the office right away because I didnt want to be charged for this later on. My thing is, why would they leave that table there if they knew it was broken? Kind of seemed like a setup to me. My bed was super flimsy and I felt like I was going to fall through it at times. The shower was uneven and flimsy on the floor (like a plastic flooring). When I sat on the main sofa in the living room, I almost fell through. After lifting up cushions, we discovered there were two planks of home depot wood that had fallen behind the sofa so we had to sit on them to get any support. The main bathroom sink was also slow draining too. When brushing my teeth the first morning it took a while for sink to drain. These are all minor things, but things nonetheless that we shouldnt have had to dealt with for the price we paid. We had a great time during our trip and the rest of the cabin was great. The views were amazing and having a dock was great for the day we rented a pontoon.
