The views and location do not get any better than this. Across from the national monument, a 10 minute walk to the Coliseum, 8 minutes to the Trevi fountain and Pantheon. It's a modern and clean apartment, with 2 pullout couches, a master queen bed, and a bunk bed. The main bathroom off the kitchen and living room is relatively spacious and has a washer, the one in the master bedroom typically Italian small, and the 3rd one extremely tight. All are more than manageable though! The master bedroom mattress is comfortable, however the pillows are thin and not comfortable. More and better pillows would be a good addition. The A/C was sufficient, however they did not cool quickly - you'll need to leave them on during the day while you are out visiting Rome. The fridge and freezer are a good size and the Nespresso machine a bonus - however, why drink that when you have so many great coffee shops in the area! The check-in process was very good and owner responsiveness is great. They arranged our pick up from Civitavecchia and also back to the airport. The gentleman that met us at the apartment, Guilhermo, was friendly, efficient and full of tips for an enjoyable stay in Rome. Beware that there is no elevator in the building - you've got 5 flights of relatively steep stairs to climb along with your luggage. Again, very manageable, just take your time. It was a great place overall and i do recommend it.
