Excellent well appointed property
Excellent location and a well kitted out property. Everything you need for a stay throughout the year. The central heating is top notch which can be very important at this time of year. The situation so close to the harbour is excellent as you benefit from the wilder side while at the same time being within walking distance of the town of Dunbar with a wide range of shops as well as many first class restaurants etc.

Excellent location, pleasant and well found flat.
Well supplied kitchen and comfortable bedrooms. Plenty of room for the three of us - and for another had we needed it. Right on the harbour and the John Muir trail so we did a fair bit of walking. Edinburgh less than an hour away by car - half an hour or so by a well timed train. Dunbar looked good in the sun and there are good food shops on the High Street.

Perfect harbor apartment
We stayed for four wonderful months. The location is great, the apartment comfy and the kitchen is adequate for daily cooking. Dunbar Golf Club is a great links course and the members are friendly. Downtown is charming with quaint shops and restaurants. East Lothian is fascinating and underrated. We are already planning our next stay here.

A wonderful trip down memory lane
Booked this lovely house for a 60th birthday celebration as my parents had rented the very same house over many summers more than 40 years before. Communication with the owners was superb at every stage. The house is comfortable and was warm and cosy. A sofa would have enhanced the comfort in the lounge particularly as the weather wasn't good for our first few days. Perfect location by the harbour and we were lucky enough to see the resident seals on a few occasions. The beds are extremely comfortable. There are lots of nice places to eat and drink and we found the locals very friendly. Dunbar is a perfect location to explore East Lothian. We enjoyed lots of walking on the John Muir Way and Lindisfarne is only 1 hour away by car. I would not hesitate to book this house again and have lots of new happy memories to add to the old ones.

Home has great beds. shower, delightful kitchen. Both traditional and new features in this home. Quiet area of the Harbour. Shopping near by with great bakery and green grocers. Local pub serves excellent meals.

not for elderly people
The flat was excellent with all of the amenities that you could hope for but because the stairs to the bedrooms are not suitable for elderly people. If it had been just my wife and I there would not have been a problem.

In Gehentfernung zur Ferienwohnung befinden sich einige Restaurants, die frische, lokale Spezialitäten servieren. Der Fish and Chips Laden ist einen Besuch wert! In Dunbar gibt es eine geschäftige Haupteinkaufsstraße mit verschiedenen Fachgeschäften und Cafés. Ein Hallenbad befindet sich nur 200 Meter entfernt. Das Sea Life Centre in North Berwick sowie das Luftfahrtmuseum in East Fortune sind ebenfalls einen Besuch wert. Auch eine Wanderung auf dem John Muir Weg entlang der Küste können wir empfehlen
