Die Harwood Lodge befindet sich auf einer mit Ponderosa-Kiefern bewachsenen Ranch im Süden der Stadt. Sie ist eine exklusive Lodge mit Block- und Fachwerkhäusern, 5 Schlafzimmern auf 3 Etagen und einer separaten, gemütlichen kleinen Gästekabine mit 1 Schlafzimmer im Wald, gleich unterhalb des Hauptgebäudes .

Ein 40 'freistehender Flusskamin dient als Mittelpunkt der Hauptlodge. Privatsphäre und Ruhe umgeben Sie, wenn Sie im Whirlpool baden, an der Feuerstelle im Freien sitzen oder Tontauben vom Deck schießen! Die Harwood Lodge liegt nur 10 Minuten von 7 Seen entfernt und neben dem Naturschutzgebiet Turnbull Nat'l Wildlife Refuge. Sie ist der ideale Ort für einen ... (UND: Wir sind nur 40 km und nur 2 Abbiegungen von der Innenstadt von Spokane entfernt!)

Team-Trainer / Berater: Die Lodge ist auch nur 16 km von der EWU entfernt, in gerader Linie! Die "25" ist die maximale Anzahl an Kindern, die die Lodge bequem in Betten, Luftmatratzen, Schlafsäcken usw. unterbringen kann.

GRUPPEN- / VERANSTALTUNGSPREISE: Für größere Gruppen (Business Retreats / Sportteams / Kirchengruppen / Versammlungen / usw.) gilt Folgendes: Die Anmietung von Lodge-Veranstaltungen von Freitag um 15:00 Uhr bis Sonntag um 12:00 Uhr ist eine Pauschalgebühr für Gruppen. Für Wohnmobile oder Zelte berechnen wir keinen Aufpreis, wenn Sie diese mitbringen möchten (bitte erkundigen Sie sich zuerst bei uns). Schreiben oder anrufen für Details.

Feiertagswochenenden (Gedenktag, 4. Juli, Werktag, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Weihnachten, Neujahr usw.) kosten 1399 US-Dollar und beinhalten 3 Übernachtungen.

EWU-, WSU- und GU-Abschlusswochenenden sind in der Regel weit im Voraus reserviert und hängen von der Verfügbarkeit ab. Dies gilt auch für das Hoopfest-Wochenende. Diese Wochenenden kosten $ 1399 und beinhalten 3 Nächte. Rufen Sie an oder schreiben Sie für die Verfügbarkeit.

* Hinweis: Die kleine Hütte direkt vor der Hauptlodge ist "netzunabhängig" und verfügt weder über Strom noch über ein Badezimmer. Es verfügt über Solarbeleuchtung und eine Heizung für die kälteren Monate sowie ein Queensize-Pillow-Top-Bett. Es ist ein "Glamping" -Erlebnis für unsere abenteuerlustigen Gäste, da es sehr gemütlich ist und Spaß macht!

Der Aufenthalt in der Lodge ist für Gruppen, Sportteams, Arbeitsteams und Familien VIEL günstiger als der Aufenthalt in einzelnen Hotelzimmern, Essen gehen und überall hinfahren! Und das alles in einer kühleren und entspannteren Umgebung, die der Teambildung förderlich ist und frei von Ablenkungen durch gewerbliche Unterkünfte, Restaurants, Verkehr und Lärm in der Stadt ist.

Hochzeiten / Veranstaltungen: 10+ Gäste (Nutzung der Lodge und des gesamten Ranchgeländes, einschließlich 1-Zimmer-Gästekabine im Wald) von Freitag, 15.00 Uhr bis Montag, 12.00 Uhr, 2995 USD. 299 USD pro Tag für jeden weiteren Tag auf beiden Seiten.

Needs to be cleaned and maintained

1) The sliding glass door sticks badly even after we sprayed wd40 on the tracks 2)The whole house needs to be dusted The wine bottles, the animals, all the knock knacks are covered in dust. 3) The bed frame in the main level bedroom is falling apart. 4) Under the sink by the trash can is completely filthy. 5) The string lights on the main deck are just hanging off the house with a pile on the deck. 6) The windows don't open on the upstairs bedroom because the mechanisms are broken and looks like they have been for years. 7) The lightbulbs in the vaulted ceiling need to be replaced. 8) There is a helium baloon stuck in the peak of the ceiling 9) There is no way to turn the light off and have the fan still on in the upper bedroom because the chain is too short to reach. 10) The toilet in the main floor bathroom is loose, it shifts when you sit down. 11) The toilet seat in the upstairs bathroom is loose and moves around. 12) There are no curtains on the bedroom windows downstairs and the curtains in the main level bedroom are not enough to provide any privacy given the sitting area on the front porch looks directly into that bedroom. 13) the sheets on the upstairs bed are worn out and thin. 14). The hot tub water is cloudy and full of particulates. Most of the adults in our party would not use the hot tub because of the condition of the water. All of these things were shared with owner who only replied..... Thank you for staying with us. :(

Friends and family came into town for a celebration. There was plenty of room for all. I enjoyed the well stocked kitchen and cooking for my family. The back deck was a great place to chill in the evening and look out at the stars. My favorite part was the quiet on the property. Only sounds of nature. Beautiful place! Thank you!

Perfect

We needed a central location for everyone to meet, and this matched. With a bed and bath on main floor it covered the mobility of one family member and allowed them to still participate. The 3 beds and batgroom downstairs allowed the teens a spot to play boardgames and the ac downstairs ment it was cool for all the teens. The master bed, bath, and balcony up stairs allowed a bit of excape and the little kids gould still be heard from the kitchen and main floor for supervision. The staircase behind the fireplace was a big hit along with the hidden quarks and adults and kids raved about. The laundry/mud room provided a great staging area for party prep. The hot tub was a hit and the fire pit was great for smores. There was space for all ages and no one was running over the top of each other. Looking forward to coming back soon.

We stayed with extended family for a funeral. So nice and peaceful, with plenty of room for everyone. Kitchen is fully stocked with every gadget you will ever need. We all enjoyed our stay. Only update we recommend is to add some hooks to upstairs bedroom for guests to hang clothes & towels. Would definitely stay again. Owner is very responsive and helpful.

Big house small dinning room

Everything was good, but if you want to sit around the table with a big group over 10 people, can’t really do that, table/ dinning room is small. Also if you want kids under 6 to play freely only in the basement they can, in the main living room a bunch of decor and stuff they can brake, also right by the upstairs there are wine racks with wine and if by any chance you fall of the stairs you will break them (a small down side of the house) too much stuff. But for adults great place to come and relax. Cozy fireplace for the winter of fall.

Great property and beautiful house

There is a lot of decor including wine bottles on display which made it a bit difficult with small children. The master bed was very comfortable but the other beds were rather hard and need mattress toppers. They is plenty of space for parking and lots of dishes provided for having a large gathering which was very pleasant since this isn't always the case. The kitchen is a good size and fits multiple people to cook together and the pantry is well stocked with basics you may need during your stay. Walking around the property and looking at all the wildflowers was truly a highlight of our stay. The back deck definatly needs some attention as our kids ended up with lots of splinters and its a bit wobbly but the view is unbeatable. We even got to watch a hailstorm roll in and listen to the hail in the metal roof which was an experience I won't soon forget. We had a wonderful family reunion and with a little work, this place would be top notch.

Great lodge in the woods

Lodge is nestled in the woods yet near enough to Cheney that we went to a bar to play pool one afternoon. Kitchen is well stocked. Great room has a beautiful wall of windows that look out into the woods! Could use some updating but had nearly everything we could need. Owner is very attentive and available. Would definitely go back again.

Winter Cabin Wonderland

My family and significant other (8 in total) vacationed at the Harwood Lodge for the new year and had an absolute blast. Rick and Tammy were very hospitable and communicated well even though they were on vacation. They even expedited the cleaning so that we could add a day and come over early to avoid trouble on the pass coming over. The cabin was very homely and kept us warm even with subzero temps during the night. The fireplace was a focal point for us all and we cooked several meals in the kitchen together. Walking the property was great to get outside and going to Cheney was only a quick drive away to get all we needed in town. This is a wonderful place to retreat and enjoy the outdoors as well as snuggle up and nest.

Great team getaway!

Our small team enjoyed time together at the Harwood Lodge. We each had a bedroom to ourselves and used the living room for planning time. We enjoyed a walk at the nearby Turnbull Wildlife Refuge. Very clean, very cozy!

Zu Gast bei Rick or Tammy Harwood

Rick Harwood, Owner and Operator of The Harwood Lodge, built this amazing home from just bare land! Rick and family now offer the Lodge up to other families to come and enjoy...

First, clearing the raw land, thinning the trees with his family and drilling the well in 2004, the Lodge served as the family home, as they moved in on New Year's Day 2005 and since has served as headquarters for Harwood Cattle Company until just recently.

As Outfitters & Ranchers, the Lodge served the family well until the nest grew empty! Rick & Tammy have now moved operations to the Big Hole Valley of Montana where they continue to operate The Bunkhouse Hotel in Jackson, MT. and The Harwood House vacation rental in nearby Wisdom, MT. They have most recently added a vacation home in Punta Santiago, Puerto Rico.

Rick graduated from nearby EWU, earning his BA in 1992 and his Master's in 1999 and holds a special place in his heart for Eastern and its extended family. Go Eags! His daughter Beth Graduated from nearby WSU. Go Cougs!

The Harwoods would now like to offer up their beautiful Lodge to you and yours to come out and enjoy for yourselves. We know that you will enjoy the amazing sunsets, the fresh smell of the pines and the nightly howling of coyotes as an amazing escape from the hustle and bustle of life in an absolutely beautiful place. Deer, elk, moose and wild turkeys visit daily and offer a fun attraction. From our family to yours, come on out.
