Excellent location with fantastic beach/ocean views. Easily accessible beach and restaurants/cafes/bars. A significant downside to our stay was the (millions of ants) infestation inside the apartment, for reasons unknown, and which went unattended for the duration of our stay. The furnishings and fixtures are very dated, and we were only provided with 1 set of bed linen and 1 set of bath towels for our 9 nights stay. Something which needs to be addressed as a priority. Seamless communication from the property manager.

A great apartment in a fabulous location.Comfortable beds, and well equipped with everything needed for self-catering, but with the advantage of numerous restaurants within a few minutes walk.Only one issue..a sizeable crack in the a pane of glass to the the living room patio doordoors.

Pro:the view and the distance from the beach was amazing. Plus the lovely bakery and ice cream place right underneath the property.Cons: the apartment is advertised as it sleeps 5. There is a king size bed, a small double (that can fit two at a push) and a bunk bed. But the bunk bed is in a built in balcony, rather than an actual room, with very little space between the bed and the glass windows. (see photos). We were having issues with the cooker, dishwasher and the washing machine cutting the electricity out, which made using the appliances rather difficult.

Amazing stay!

We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay! Communication throughout was wonderful, check in was easy, even after our flight in was delayed. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and had an amazing view. We took advatage of everything around us, especially the beach and restaurants. We can't wait to return, and would definitely stay again!

Wonderful vacation

Lovely location with magnificent view of the Atlantic Ocean and stunning sunsets. Perfect for any tourist type: family, friends or couples. Besides nature, just within walking distance from nice restaurants with terraces and good food, supermarkets and souvenir shops. We loved our stay at this location and recommend it warmly.

Fantastic location

Location perfect- apartment was nice, made amazing by the balcony and sea views. Would definitely visit again. Ice cream shop immediately below apartment was very welcome in the hot weather!

Great stay

Very central, many restaurants, small supermarkets and cafes close by. Beach straight in front of property. I can imagine in high season it would be very noisy. We would not hesitate to recommend this property

Beautiful and soothing view

Very nice space with an oceanfront balcony
thoroughly enjoyed the view morning, noon, and night. Check in was easy, and the building was very secure. Dedicated parking spot a plus. Could have used more than one bath towel and hand towel each, and the beds could use replacement as they were pretty stiff. Overall, a pleasant experience in a quaint atmosphere.

Wonderful!

We had a wonderful stay. Monica was amazing to work with and the ladies and Joe were awesome as well. They gave good tips of places to go to get things like groceries or places to eat. Listening to the sounds of the ocean from the balcony was great day and night. The quick walk across the boardwalk to enjoy the beach was so great! Location was the best with ocean views to die for! We would recommend to anyone. The Portuguese are so friendly!!

Another great holiday

Just returned from another great stay at the apartment. This is our second year and we have just booked for the same time again next year! We even managed to work the front door key this time, once you have the knack it is easy. The apartment is perfect for our needs; great location, superb views and very quiet, except for the last day when the electricians arrived to refit the pizza house below. Another great holiday with no hassles.

Awesome Location

The location was perfect, We enjoyed our stay it is a great central location for exploring the Algarve, with restaurants and shops walking distance. The front balcony was awesome for sitting and watching the ocean, people and sunsets. The unit however could use some upgraded furniture and beds (we are an older couple 60- 70) we found the couch and beds a bit uncomfortable. Also coming from Canada we were not familiar with the European appliances so instructions left for each would have been helpful.

Amazing Location in the heart of Quarteira

Good communication with the owner who allowed us in early. We only had bedding for one bedroom but that could have been a oversight on are part. The only criticism i would say is the lack of towels .We did have a problem with flies so i would advice to get fly spray and keep doors shut. Beds were very comfy and shower good. Did have a couple of days of a bad smell from hall and landing. Would definitely return as location is so good and a lift and amazing balcony

Arrived and went to liliana for access to property where we found a clean well furnished property to be fair only used bedrooms and kitchen most of time sat on balcony overlooking sea and beautiful sunsets the area is nice and quiet with plenty of restaurants to cater for all tastes excellent comunication with owner would not hesitate to use this property again thanks for letting us stay john .liz . Lovely Stay

Great apartment right on the boardwalk with exceptional views. Good kitchen and personal parking space. The only area we felt should be improved is the furniture. We like a firm bed but this bed was so hard we could not sleep comfortably at all. Also the living room furniture needs to be replaced. The 2 person couch and old IKEA chair were quite broken down and uncomfortable. That being said, it’s a wonderful place in general and the host was very attentive.

Wonderful!

Fabulous five nights spent in this apartment. Can't fault a thing and didn't want to leave. Front bedroom has a marvellous view, but quite noisy from the nearby bars on our first night with the window open. But the room is big enough to close the window and keep the ceiling fan going and it's not uncomfortable at all and the rest of the stay we never heard a thing and slept very well. Perfect location and back home I'm already missing sitting on the terrace with a cold drink watching the sun go down. Ten out of ten! Thanks Joe and Lia!

Algarve

This property was clean but I gave it only a 3 star rating. The check in process needs to be improved. The host required us to estimate an arrival time which I did but we still waited 45 minutes for the someone to arrive to give us a key. We were two couples staying the unit and only one set of keys were provided which was not convenient. There was no coffee maker and the washing machine had to be held down during the spin cycle so it wouldn't bounce around. The mattresses and pillows need to upgraded as well. The location of the unit was beautiful, right across from the beach and had ocean view, however, a couple of nights during our stay, it was very noisy late into the night due to a party going on downstairs. The couple staying in the front bedroom could not sleep with the windows open which made the bedroom very warm. A couple of days into our stay we did not have hot water. The water tank is run by gas and it had run out. I contacted the host and he was quick to respond. He sent me instructions on how to change it. We were out sightseeing for the day and would have changed it when we returned, however, it was done when we got back. We appreciated that it had been done but my feeling is that if you are renting a unit, it should be the responsibility of the host to make sure your guests are well looked after and not expect them to have to change a gas tank to get hot water.
