Wake up to the sound of the running stream in this bright, beautiful loft as it faces Fitzsimmons Creek in a quiet forested area. Our home is located between the two villages. It’s a few minutes walk to Whistler Village & Blackcomb Mountain, the base of both gondolas and Valley Trail System. This inviting lofted one bedroom townhome has a distinct atmosphere with natural, personalized decor featuring a cozy wood-burning fireplace. Perfect ski-in/ski-out vacation spot for your family & friends.
Just a 2-minute walk to the mountain ski lifts, après-ski bars, mountain bike trails & hiking trails.
Our charming one bedroom apartment has a distinct atmosphere and accommodates up to four guests.
The living room features wood burning fireplace comfortable sofabed and armchair. Open the sliding door to access to a patio surrounded by the forest. The sofabed in the living room provides an additional sleeping space. The dining area that is the part of living space seats four guests comfortably.
The kitchen features all the appliances everybody’s home needs.
The master bedroom features a queen sized bed.
The bathrooms features a glass-enclosed shower and a single vanity. A fully equipped laundry is located on the upper floor.
There is secured underground parking for one car and our guests could use visitor parking for one vehicle as well.
The Gables, situated at the banks of Fitzsimmons Creek in Upper Whistler Village, is one of only a few complexes in Whistler that are ski-in/ski-out. The building is surrounded by a beautiful forested area. Fitzsimmons Creek rushes close by for extra mountain ambiance. It's just steps to Blackcomb or Whistler gondola bases. The Family Adventure Zone is located 220m away. It is a fun place filled with plenty of children's activities. Kids ski school and apres spots is close by. Grocery and liquor stores are only a 5-minute walk away.
You can explore the neighborhoods by bus, free shuttle, bike or on foot or the 24-hour taxi service.
You can catch a ride on the free Whistler shuttle system, running from 5:30 a.m. to 3 a.m. year-round. If you're headed to Whistler Village, just get a quick ride on a convenient shuttle that stops close to our unit.
Avid skiers, this is a beautiful property that puts you right next to Fitzsimmons Creek and offers the convenience you require by being next to Whistler Village and Blackcomb mountain base. Ski almost to the door. You are steps away from Blackcomb Base. Whistler Base is a bit farther but is also in walking distance. In the summer, the Village activities and Valley Trail System are at your doorstep.

Nice Place in the Woods
Place was great for 2. Lots of space. Bed was smaller but very comfortable. Felt remote because it was in the trees and beside a stream but was just 5 minute walk to village. Kitchen was well stocked. Couple of suggestions: Could use a microwave, decent cutting knives, cutting board and BBQ. Would recommend

Nice place, great location
Great place for 2 & our small dog. We loved the location & the sound of the river was perfect "white noise" to get to sleep! Easy walk to the village. The place was clean & comfortable. I wish that the small deck was accessible (couch is placed in front of the doors) and that the TV was downstairs. I would also like to have a BBQ there to use.
Leo provided great customer service. Quickly answered questions & provided information. I would stay there again.

Great location but dirty
This location was absolutely perfect, just minutes away from Whistler/Blackcomb gondola. Definitely meant for one couple and NO more. The pull out couch is wayyyyy past it's prime (so it the bed! ). They should both be replaced. Although we had to call for coffee and wood, they were quick to deliver. The fireplace is a cozy feature, however, real wood and fire tools would have been appreciated. Very challenging to stoke a fire without a poker. All in all, the place has the potential to be amazing, but the attention to detail and overall cleanliness is missing. I could go on... but I'll just say for the premium price tag on this rental we expected more.

Gorgeous condo
Loved this condo! Less than 5 min walk to the ski lift and such a perfect place to stay! The condo was huge and so neat and clean and had heated floors in the bathroom! Perfect for those cold winter mornings. I will definitely be staying here again!

Nice place for 2 people max
This place was advertised to fit four guests, which it technically does, unfortunately the pull out couch is absolutely horrible to sleep on. There are Springs missing, the whole thing is lopsided and way past its prime.
It would be a great place for a couple and the location is awesome. I would not recommend it however for more than 2 people.

Awesome Location!
A great condo with plenty of room for a couple of people. Nice real fire place and great bathroom with heated floor which is nice on a cold morning. TV should be downstairs in the living room and could use some curtains on the living room windows, you feel a little exposed in the loft area as you can see right through to outside. But, overall a great condo overall and an awesome location - possibly the best position Whistler. It's beautifully quiet being just out of the main village area, but really close to the Gondola's (literally a 2 min walk) and everything else in the Village, especially at the top end of town and a very short walk to the base of Blackcomb base too. Also, great access to forest walks and the river. We'd definitely stay there again and definitely recommend this condo as a great stay in Whistler.

cozy, charming and quiet getaway
I thoroughly enjoyed my quiet getaway to Whistler village. The Gables property was comfortable and exactly what I was looking for. It was surrounded by trees and backed onto a pretty creek and easily accessible trail that connected to the village. The bed was very comfortable and I loved the heated floor in the bathroom. The kitchen was well stocked with all the necessities I needed - coffee, tea, sugar, coffee maker, pots and pans, dishes etc. My only recommendation when providing directions to guests is to mention that the unit is behind the others and you have to walk around them to get to it. That wasn't obvious and was a bit confusing upon arrival. I would recommend this lovely property.

Good
It was a lovely space -aesthetically and comfort wise. We were disappointed somewhat in that we booked this place especially because it had a wood burning fireplace. When we arrived there was wood but no paper, kindling or hatchet. Only the next day was management able or willing to rectify this, on our 2 night rental. They did so by providing one artificial fireplace log the next day after I asked for kindling or a hatchet.

Great location, but we have a couple suggestions ...
Really enjoyed the location of this property, easy access to the village, lifts and to the Lost Lake trails but still quiet.
Kitchen was decently equipped but no grill, no microwave, and missing some basics (i.e. cutting board). Agreed with the other review, patio doors are blocked by the sofa and bed is small & soft.
There are no window coverings, this was entirely inappropriate in my opinion. Otherwise comfortable and certainly very clean.

Not bad value overall.
Great location for village.
Light and airy feel to it as well.
Only real criticisms are that the mattress sags a little in the middle ,there is no seal on the shower door bottom to stop water leaking out and the mosquito mesh is missing from the bedroom window.
Overall though a good base to stay in.
