Die Barns at High Park wurden ursprĂŒnglich in den spĂ€ten 1800 gebaut und befindet sich im Herzen der North Devon KĂŒste. Es bietet einen einfachen Zugang zu den StrĂ€nden, Mooren, KĂŒstenweg Wanderungen, Radwege, GolfplĂ€tze, Gartenbau GĂ€rten, kinderfreundliche Funparks und viele andere traditionelle Outdoor- und Indoor-FreizeitaktivitĂ€ten fĂŒr diejenigen, die eine wirklich entspannende, aber dennoch aktiv sucht, brechen weg von der stressigen Tag zu Tag Leben.

Diese Scheune ist innerhalb von 14 Morgen privatem Land mit sicheren Zugang ĂŒber elektrische Tore entfernt. Auf dem GelĂ€nde ist eine leicht zugĂ€ngliche großen natĂŒrlichen See mit beeindruckendem Vegetation, ĂŒber 200 Fische und ein Bootshaus.

Diese Scheune wurde 2016 umgebaut und verfĂŒgt ĂŒber ein Super-Kingsize-Bett aus massivem Eichenholz im Hauptschlafzimmer, alle neuen Möbel aus massivem Eichenholz, Ledersofas, LED-Beleuchtung und Fußbodenheizung.

Die Scheune ist hundefreundlich, und Sie können sie fĂŒr den ersten Hund mit ÂŁ 25 und fĂŒr jeden weiteren Hund mit ÂŁ 15 pro Hund mitbringen.

Herrlicher Aufenhalt in einem einfach schönen Coach House

Unser erster Urlaub in GB war einfach schön. Wir konnten hier herrlich relaxen, durch Garten und Park in wenigen Schritten zum Schwimmen in den Pool. Der Atlantik direkt vor der HaustĂŒre. High Park ist absolutly empfehlenswert. Zum Empfang waren Scouns mit strawberry jam bereitgelegt, im KĂŒhlschrank dazu clotted cream. Sowohl Tee als auch Kaffekapseln fĂŒr die Nespressomaschine waren da. Tee natĂŒrlich am naheliegendsten, es war ja teatime bei unserer Ankunft. Die MĂ€r von der fehlenden Kochkunst in GB können wir nach dem Aufenhalt ad acta legen. Es war jedesmal lecker, was uns aufgetischt wurde, auch das cornische Guinnes. It was a wonderful time in England. Thank you, Anne-Louise.

Perfect for some R&R!

Lovely location, quiet and relaxing. Pool facilities are great. Everything is very well thought out, with great attention to details. Our dog loved the squirrels he’s worn out! Thank you we will be back.

Jan 2026 stay

This is the first time we have stayed at High Park in The Coach House and we will definitely be back. We arrived with our three dogs and used the lock box to get the key to the property which was easy to navigate. Anne Louise came to introduce herself and offered recommendations for the area which we really appreciated as this was our first time in Devon. The property was dog friendly, with a big garden for them to play in and other areas for them to explore off leash. The Coach House even had a hose on the side of the house to rinse off the sand from the beach! The property was clean and very comfortable. The heated swimming pool and hot tub was a bonus as the weather was not on our side. We cannot recommend High Park Barns enough and are already planning our next visit.

Fantastic mini-break

Being in the hospitality business ourselves, it is rare we find such wonderful attention to detail in places we visit. Anne-Louise & Paul were so welcoming and friendly (as were Buzz & Woody!). The pool is such a bonus, especially in the winter, when it was cold outside. The Coach House was superb. Everything you need for a comfy, cosy stay. We will definitely be returning. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer.

The Hosts and their communication was excellent. The coach house was warm,clean and well equipped. The pool and rota system was brilliant and well thought out. The grounds were lovely to walk around and we had a very relaxing holiday. We would certainly hope to return.

Really relaxing week, could not fault anything Anne and Paul made us realy welcome , property was great , scone , cream and jam in the fridge was a nice welcome and also the bottle of milk from the farm down the road, swimming pool and Jacuzzi so clean and welcoming. Relaxing holiday in Devon

Excellent place to stay to use as a base to explore Devon. The cottage has all you need in the kitchen, teas, coffees and very welcoming Devon scones & clotted cream, plus delicious fresh milk from the nearby local farm! OK but not Great

The property is a little dated but has everything you might need. The bathroom and shower were excellent but, for this price we would expect to have some toileteries, tissues, etc. but we only had hand wash. Our early arrival (15 minutes) shoudn't have been a problem as the property was ready but we had no contact with the owner at any time during our stay.

Everything about The Coach House at High Park Barns exceeded expectation. We were particularly impressed with the comfortable super king sized bed, the en-suite facilities and the well-equipped kitchen and living area. We made good use of the indoor pool, heated to 30C, and the hot tub and very much appreciated the allocated hourly swimming times. The complex is very dog-friendly with areas where our four-legged friends could be exercised safely off lead. There are so many lovely beaches and interesting places to visit in the area which makes High Park Barns an excellent location for a holiday.

The Coach house

We had a wonderful family weekend including the use of the main house. Very comfortable beds and linen. The coach house was clean, warm, welcoming and beautifully furnished. Swimming pool was perfect, and well maintained. There is a lot of available green space for children and adults to play. The complex is in a good location with beautiful coastline 10 minutes away, our favourite was Westward Ho! Our host was friendly, knowledgeable and kept us well informed regarding checking in and out. I would highly recommend this venue.

Well worth a stay

A lovely property in a great location. Friendly owners who would be on hand if needed. Comfortable, well maintained, warm and cosy, well equipped. Perfect for two with plenty of space. Fantastic Time in the Coachhouse

We had yet another fabulous time at the Coachhouse in High Park Barns. The facilities are always immaculate and the space is always well clean and maintained. The pool is always amazing, and plenty of time available for a swim, even late in the evening. Anne-Louise was fantastic as always and was super responsive to all communication, including taking in a parcel for us before arrival. We’re already planning on a return visit, and can’t wait to come back

We really enjoyed our stay at The Coach House. Very spacious and comfortable with everything you could possibly need. We particularly enjoyed the cream tea and fresh milk left for us and had lovely coffees in the morning from the coffee machine and pods. Anne Louise had left us a high chair for our daughter which was very useful and there was a cot as well. We loved using the swimming pool and it’s in a great location for trips to local attractions!
