Excellent Villa

Beautiful villa which is very well equipped, comfortable and has fantastic outdoor space. The villa is maintained and cleaned to a high standard and was perfect for our young children (especially the well heated pool!). Villa is well located for local shops, restaurants and beaches, yet in a quiet and secluded setting.

Fantastic

This was our 4th stay and we love it. The villa is spacious, clean, homely and well equipped. The outside space is even better, very private and quiet, with a large pool, lovely big garden, plenty of room to eat outside or just sit or lie in the sun and a choice of BBQs. The "indoor" BBQ option is a great bonus, especially in the spring and autumn when evenings are shorter and cooler. The cleaner (Maria) and pool/maintenance man (Antonio) are friendly and helpful. The villa is well positioned for access to the beach, shops, golf, etc. Couldn't ask for more!

Superb

This was our second stay at Casa das Heras and we are already booked to return again. The villa is spacious, well designed and well equipped. The pool and outdoor areas are also excellent, making it very easy to sit back and relax at all times. It is well positioned for access to the airport, beaches, shops and attractions, but remote enough for peace and quiet at all times. Many thanks to Maria and Antonio for keeping the house and garden immaculately clean and tidy and for making sure we were fully looked after for our whole stay. Thanks also to Paul and Andrew for the straightforward and hassle free booking process.

Highly recommended villa

Our second visit to Casa das Heras and was just as impressive as years ago. An excellent equipped villa that is maintained and cleaned to a high standard as is the large heated pool. Set in a large garden surrounded in fencing and electric gates the security and privacy are first class. Wonderful views from roof terrace especially at sun set. Local shop, restaurant and cafe within walking distance but would recommend hiring a car as limited choice. Owners are a pleasure to,deal with and are easy to contact. We look forward to returning soon.

Casa Das Heras

We had a lovely relaxing stay in Casa Das Heras. The villa was very well equipped and finished to a very good standard. The pool was used extensively! We also hired cars which enabled us to explore more of the Algarve and the villa was a good base to do this from. We will hopefully be coming back to the Algarve next year.....

Luxury and well equipped villa

First impression... how big and beautifully furnished this villa is. Wandering around looking at the lovely bedrooms, each with a luxury en-suite was an exciting experience for all, we couldn't wait to see what was around the next corner, not being disappointed by anything we saw. The kitchen was well equipped and so spacious, you could want for nothing. Looking in all the cupboards to find plenty of items you would need, even the cutlery was like you would find in a good class restaurant. There is a laundry room with an easy to use washing machine, also, with a clothes basket, pegs etc., The pots and pans looked like they were new... even the oven sparkled. We were all very impressed with having the robes and towels for the pool (remarks of 'This is like being at a spa retreat'.) 7 people in our party, all with their own private spaces and balconies, what more could you ask? The walk in shower downstairs was ooh.. so, so, nice that, I now want one!. With a choice of two BBQ areas one outside and one from the kitchen door that had, lovely views over the side of the villa , you really are spoilt for choice where to sit and eat. Usually the pools here are coolish to get into, but not this one, even without heating your able to get straight in. It's also quite a good size to swim in. Having been to this area 22 times and in quite a few villas, I would say this is certainly one of the best we have stayed in. I have been so impressed, I have sent an email to say thank you for ease of booking, being given information each step of the way and their help in making this a wonderful holiday for 7 really satisfied customers. I would thoroughly recommend this villa to anyone, who wants a lovely holiday experience that you won't forget.

Excellent accommodation

Can’t fault the property, rooms all immaculate, the grounds & swimming pool were very well kept. The guy that checked us in was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Maid service every couple of days was very welcome too. I’d definitely return to this villa!

Another wonderful stay in Casa das Heras

This was our third visit to Casa das Heras and yet again we all had a wonderful holiday. There were three generations staying including an 18 month old and we certainly made use of the pool and surrounding grounds. We particularly like how rural the property is, yet is within a very short distance of the beach, supermarkets and restaurants. And Albufeira is only a 10 minute or so journey away. (We always hire a car as it is essential here). The villa is extremely spacious and everything you need is provided - including a bean to cup coffee machine! The grounds are beautifully kept and very private and the pool is just the right size. The local manager is on hand should you have any problems and is only a phone call or text away; the maids come three times a week; and there is also a man who looks after the general running of the property and grounds (he is really friendly and speaks good English as our Portugese is woefully lacking). As our family expands I suspect we will have to look for a larger villa in future which is a real shame as this place really is perfect and we would be hard put to find somewhere as nice.

Dear Sally Thank you for your review and kind words about our villa and staff. In respect of your expanding family, we also have a larger 5 bedroom 5 bathroom ultra luxury villa nearby, and I will send you details and a link to see it. This is Cantinho Oliveiras. I hope you will be able to enjoy that one in the foreseeable future. Best regards Andrew & Paul

Fantastic Place to Stay

Immediately impressed with the villa, the space and cleanliness was second to none. The pictures on the website are impressive but still don't do the villa justice. There were eight of us including two younger children and there was ample space for the children to play football and frisby, my elder kids made full use of the table tennis and we all loved the pool. The outside dining area was perfect, and had plenty of room for all eight of us. I'm now racking my brain trying to think of how our stay could have been improved and am struggling to come up with anything. The maid, gardener and manager (Lorraine) were all very friendly and approachable. We will definitely consider this villa the next time we visit Portugal in the not too distant future.

Thank you for taking the time to review our villa. As you know, we have several villas in the area, and we try to keep the same very high standard with all of them. It is difficult to explain in writing the standard of our villas, but for those thinking of booking, please read our reviews from satisfied guests, most of who return each year. A beautiful luxurious place to stay

We were very impressed with the villa, which is luxurious and well appointed. The bedrooms all have beautiful en suite bathrooms and balconies. The pool was a real bonus, especially as the weather was so hot we didn't want to do anything but swim and sunbathe. The grounds of the villa are lovely and well looked after and we appreciated the regular maid service . The only thing we felt the villa lacked was a larger fridge or perhaps a beer fridge. With 7 people we had to shop fairly regularly and extra fridge space would have helped.

Fabulous villa

We had a fabulous holiday at Casa das Heras. The photos and description, although perfectly accurate, do not do the villa justice. The villa is spacious, beautifully decorated and equipped, and with 8 people sharing, there was plenty of space. The gardens are delightful, and all our meals were taken outside under one of the pergodas. The local management and the maid were spot on with the service, and we were really sad to leave at the end of our holiday. We will be back in 2016. Thank you to Paul and Andrew.
