Fabulous holiday in beautiful villa

Beautiful property, kept immaculately, with wonderful pool and terrace for eating breakfast/lunch. Plenty of room in the property and well-kept kitchen. Great location. Just a 15 minute walk to Port Alcudia with plenty of restaurants, supermarkets and a big, sandy beach. We managed without a car for the whole stay. The owner, Louise, gives you lots of information before the stay and makes it a smooth check-in and and answers all your questions beforehand. Highly recommend a stay here and would love to go back.

Fantastic location!

Lovely, roomy and well equipped house. In walking distance to shops, bars and restaurants. Alcudia is about 15 mins walk and is great for families with children of all ages, including our 16 and 18 year olds!

Amazing Villa

Our family had an incredible time at Louise’s villa in Mallorca! The villa was spacious and elegantly furnished, offering ample room for all five of us. The highlight was definitely the private pool, ideal for relaxing after our daily island adventures. The location was perfect, providing tranquility yet easy access to nearby attractions and beautiful beaches. Breakfasts on the terrace with stunning water views were a favorite. It truly felt like our perfect home away from home for our family vacation in Mallorca!

Really Enjoyable Stay

We stayed in this property as a family of five, children aged 10-12. The house is very large which is great as everyone has their own space. The pool was brilliant for our children and it was cleaned during our stay. The house is about a ten min walk to a number of really nice coves for sea swimming and snorkling. We were able to walk to a couple of bars and restaurants nearby. We would highly recommend this property.

Beautiful Vista In an amazing area

Beautiful house, good location. Plenty of balconies with nice views. Communication with the owner was amazing. Unfortunately the neighbors were rather loud and the Villa is a shared wall type situation. Wifi was slow around 15mbps with no signal in parts of the villa. Still had a great time at the property and would recommend it.

I regret that you experienced noise from the neighbours who are renting next door temporarily, but am glad that it didn't spoil your stay. As regards the wi-fi, there is strong signal at the front of the villa, both upstairs and downstairs, and around the pool area, but it gets weaker going towards the back of the villa. Comfortable house and good location

It was our family’s first time in Mallorca and this semi detached house worked well being in a fairly quiet area walkable for us to the sea for snorkelling and to restaurants. The house itself has plenty of space indoors and the kitchen was well stocked, the house clean, beds were comfortable and the air conditioning in the bedrooms was fine and much needed at night! The pool and outside space are relatively small and on different levels due to the location of the house on a hill. The pool was welcome in the afternoon after a morning of exploring. There is just enough space for some sun lounges by the pool and the bbq also on the pool level. There is an also a balcony overlooking the pool with dining table with a nice view that we used in the evenings. Communication with the owner, Louise, was excellent. She was really helpful and responded quickly to any queries and gave us good advice.

Lovely elevated property in quiet residential area with nice sea view

This is a great villa, full of character, roomy and cool. Well equipped and comfortable with a sparkling pool and front terraces offering a view of the sea. The villa was quite a hike to and from from the Port, especially in the July heat, and we found the pavements are steep and uneven in areas. The local bus service has been discontinued and taxis involve some queueing especially in the evenings. Were we to visit Alcanada again , we would def hire a car! Louise, the owner was extremely helpful and provided plenty of local info in the villa. The nice patio at the rear of the villa offered privacy and a quiet away from it all space. We ate locally a few times and found the small SPAR nearby to be very convenient. The local coastline was rugged and peppered with small jetty’s and pretty tree lined coves which we loved, in contrast to the busy sandy beaches in nearby resorts. We would highly recommend this property😎

You're right, the 15-minute walk into Alcudia Port is a bit of a hike, especially with the heat and humidity in July/August; and as you say, it's a shame the local bus service is not operating at the moment, causing even longer taxi queues, hence my recommendation to hire a car to facilitate getting around. Loved our stay at Casa es Mirador

Casa es Mirador worked great for our family of 5. The location between Alcanada Beach and Alcudia Beach is great for enjoying both areas. We chose not to rent a car and it worked fine. I did go to the supermarket the first day with friends who had rented a car, but other than that, didn’t need it. The SPAR market is about a 10 minute walk and has fresh bread and drinks and jamon and snacks. You can also do a one day car rental if you want to explore the island. We ate dinner at so many good restaurants-many of which Louise recommended for us. We barely used the pool because in late May/early June when we were there, it doesn’t get much sun until late in the day, so the water is too chilly to swim. The views of the ocean can not be beat. The beds are all very comfortable-everyone slept really well. The property is very clean and well maintained. We cooked dinners at home a couple of nights and found the kitchen to have everything we needed. We really loved our stay and hope to return.

Amazing sea views!

The location of this villa is perfect! A 5 minute walk to a small and secluded beach with a brilliant beach bar. There's two really local restaurants that I would recommend Restaurante 35 de Alcanada which is very good in price, with very friendly staff and Restaurante La Terraza which is more pricey, but definitely worth it, the food is incredible and you get amazing sea views! The villa itself is very spacious on a quiet road. Big rooms and big bathrooms to go with them, lots of balconies to sit down and relax on. The pool is a fair size, which is pretty deep. To make more use of the pool, a pool cover would have been useful to keep the warmth of the pool in, as it was pretty cold when you first got in, and you had to get used to the temperature. The villa came with a very useful put together folder of different attractions you could go and see around the island. As we ended up doing one of the boat tours from that, which sets off from Alcudia and goes north, where it ends up stopping and you can jump into the sea! The floors of the villa could of had more attention to while cleaning as still bit grubby, but the rest of the villa was very clean and tidy. Overall, a much enjoyed holiday, with a very lovely villa!

Regarding the pool temperature during your stay 4-11 June, the pool was slightly colder than normal due to unseasonably cold weather in May, and averaged 25/26 Degrees Centigrade/ 79/80 Degrees Fahrenheit that week, so our apologies if you found this too cold to swim in comfortably. We are glad to know that you found the folder of places/restaurants we recommend to be useful and I have passed on your comments regarding the floors to our cleaning team, but good to know that you found the rest of the villa to be clean and tidy. Wir verbrachten als vierköpfige Familie 10 Tage in dieser wunderschönen Villa Ende Mai. Das Haus ist exakt so wie beschrieben und es mangelt an absolut nichts. Alles war sehr sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Ein schöner Grill steht unterhalb der Terrasse neben dem absolut sauberen Pool. Zum kurz reinspringen und planschen mit den Kids hat die Temperatur auch gereicht. Das Haus liegt super ruhig aber doch mit dem Auto nur 5 Minuten zu einem großen Supermarkt. Zur hafenpromenade mit den vielen Restaurants ist es auch nur ein 15 Minuten Weg. Wir haben die Zeit hier sehr genossen und würden sicher mal wieder kommen.

Nice and well equipped villa, great location close to Alcudia Port but recommend to have a car. Louise is the perfect host, we got all relevant information about the villa well in advance of our stay and any question was answered immediately.

Lovely villa in an ideal location

We chose this property based on previous reviews and weren't disappointed. The villa is situated in a quiet residential area but still within walking distance of the main Alcudia Port and within easy reach of a beach bar/terrace where you can enter the sea directly. We hired a car direct from the airport which helped with visiting the local area where we did golf at Pollenca, tennis and padel in Alcudia bay. We also hired a boat for a morning from the port and took it out to the small island, Illa d'Alcanada where we moored up and swam from the boat to the island, absolutely idyllic. We did the majority of our food shopping at Lidl which is a five minute drive away and then topped up with smaller shops at Spar which are dotted around the resort. The villa itself is very spacious and being in a slightly elevated position has great views of the bay to watch the boats go by. We found the king size beds very comfortable and air conditioning at night was most welcome. Our teenage boys found the wifi connections really good too. The pool, although relatively small is fantastic and the water was warm most days due to the sun, and kept clean by regular visits from the pool cleaning company arranged by Louise. The villa is well equipped, the BBQ by the pool was used regularly although we had a couple of meals out too. The owner was extremely helpful and courteous in all communications. Overall, a great place to stay, no negatives, you can't fail to enjoy yourself in this villa.

Lovely Family Villa in a great location

A spacious villa, very well equipped, great for families. The villa is in a good location near Alcanada beach and restaurants which is a small quiet area but also close to Alcudia main beach (5 min drive) which is much more lively and busy. The photos of the villa don’t do it justice, it is nicer in real life and the pool although small is plenty big enough (my 2 children had lots of fun in it).

A Gem in Alcudia

As soon as we opened the front door of this idyllic holiday home we knew we had got lucky The cool tiles underneath our feet led us from room to room as our 2 children shrieked with delight on finding their spacious bed rooms and we were bowled over with ours which featured a balcony overlooking the sea The pool was the highlight of that 1st morning as we spent our first day in it The house is a 5 min walk from beautiful port of alcudia a charming town with fantastic restaurants and a very Long Beach The town of alcudia itself is less than 10 mins by car I could not recommend this villa highly enough and we dearly hope to return

This villa is very well located in a quiet area but only short walk to 2 very good restaurants, 1 beach bar and a shop. Spotlessly clean on arrival with good pool service. Very well equipped and obviously maintained out of season. Would go again if visiting Alcanada, definitely the area to be in if going to Alcudia. Very good service from owner

Great property and location in quiet area with fantastic views

The villa is great and the photos don’t really do it justice as it is bigger than expected. It was very well equipped and nothing was overlooked. We found the bed a little hard but that may be down to preference . Towels and bedding provided and overall the villa was very clean.The pool and terraces were great places to relax. The views of the sea and bay were fantastic. It is situated in an elevated position so there is a bit of a climb back from the beach and town . We loved the local beach and cafe, perfect for watching the boats pass by. Restaurant 35 is the nearest place to eat and it is highly recommended, we eat there twice. The port is around a 15 minute walk , we mostly walked everywhere but also used taxis which were reasonable . There is a bus service from Alcanada which is opposite the La Terraza restaurant which can take you to the old town ( not frequent but worth knowing ) . Louise the owner and her property management team in Alcúdia were very helpful throughout our stay so you can be rest assured that support and help is available if needed. I can’t recommend this villa any more than giving it a 5 star rating .

I am English and we live in the beautiful coastal town of Lymington on the south coast. Our family previously lived and worked overseas for more than 20 years in East Africa, Middle East and South America. We visited Mallorca for the first time in 2003, toured the entire island and fell in love with the relatively unspoilt and more tranquil north of the Island with its spectacular coastal and mountain scenery. We purchased our villa in 2003 and it has become a second home for all of us, including our five boys and their wives/girlfriends, as we spend most of our family holidays there. We always have a wonderfully relaxing and fun time. Especially enjoyable are the evenings spent out on the terrace, all the family round the table, a home-made paella, some good local vino and lots of banter!

We chose the popular area of Alcanada in the north of Mallorca because of its spectacular coastal and mountain scenery and because it is relatively quiet and unspoilt, yet within minutes, you can be in the centre of the popular holiday resort of Alcudia with all its attractions, endless stretch of sandy beaches, up-market yacht marina, lovely boutiques and fun-filled nightlife! We love the fact that its so easy to hop on the plane, (just a 2 hour flight London/Palma) and within a few hours be out on the terrace enjoying the spectacular views over the Bay and the mountains beyond. Over the past 23 years, we have enjoyed many an evening wandering around the tiny cobbled streets of the Old Town of Alcudia close by and dining in some of the finest restaurants in the north of the Island.

Cyclists can enjoy the challenge of the steep and stunning mountain scenery all around this area and west of the Island. Water sport enthusiasts can take advantage of the amazing sailing, water-skiing, scuba diving and snorkeling opportunities nearby. The Old Town of Alcudia is 3 kms away & holds a local market there Sundays & Tuesdays.
For those wanting a more lazy holiday, there is a 5m x 3.5 m private pool at the villa with sun-beds, sun-shade and bbq facilities. The fully equipped kitchen means entertaining at home on the terrace overlooking the pool & sea is easy, relaxed & fun!
