Das Haus wurde vor kurzem renoviert und befindet sich in schöner Landschaft nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß zum Strand. Ein großer Garten und ein Pool sorgen für Erholung im Freien. Vom Balkon können Sie einen schönen Meerblick und den Blick auf das nahegelegene Naturschutzgebiet "Lo Zingaro" genießen. Nur wenige hundert Meter zum malerischen Dorf Scopello und den schönen Stellen von Tonnara (alte, stillgelegte Thunfisch-Angelstation, jetzt ein Baderesort), an denen einige Stellen von Ocean Twelve gedreht wurden. Sehr ruhig, aber alle notwendigen Einrichtungen, Shops, Bars und Restaurants sind nur wenige Kilometer entfernt.

Very nice vacation

We stayed 13 nights at this nice property. Nice view, nice pool. Everything works very well. Good beds. Unfortunately it was a bit noisy through various constructions in the neighborhood. You can walk to the beach which is great. Scopello is a nice and quiet spot. Bigger supermarkets are 20min away in Castellammare.

Very nice and quiet place

Very clean apartment, fully working kitchen, big balcony with sea view in a quiet small town. Not far from several amazing beaches. Private pool. Owner are really nice and gave great advises for restaurants etc.

Schöne Ferienwohnung mit Privatpool und Meerblick in ländlicher Umgebung

Sehr nette und bemühte Vermieter, die Italienisch, Englisch und Deutsch sprechen. Sie wohnen manchmal in der unteren Wohnung. Der Pool, die Terrasse und der riesige Balkon (toller Meerblick!) der oben gelegenen Ferienwohnung sind nicht einsehbar. Das Haus ist an den Hang gebaut, so dass der Eingang ebenerdig ist. Es gibt verschiedene Sitzplätze in Sonne und Schatten zu allen Tageszeiten. Der Pool ist allein für die Feriengäste. Der kleine, noch ursprüngliche Ort Scopello mit Restaurants ist in 15 min zu Fuß zu erreichen, der nächste Strand (Kiesstrand, wunderbare Schnorchelerlebnisse) in 5 min. Supermärkte 3 km, Auto erforderlich.

Aufenthalt 17. bis 24.10.2021

Wir haben den Urlaub in unserer Unterkunft sehr genossen. Die Unterkunft ist zweckmäßig eingerichtet und es fehlte an nichts. Mariella und ihr Mann wären im Fall eines Falles für uns jederzeit erreichbar gewesen. Der Pool wurde zweimal die Woche gereinigt und überprüft. Von der umlaufenden Terrasse hat man einen sehr schönen Blick auf die Umgebung und das Meer. Die unterhalb der Unterkunft liegende Badebucht ist zu Fuß in 2 - 3 Minuten zu erreichen. Die Unterkunft liegt absolut ruhig, kein störender Autoverkehr. Empfehlenswert ist ein Fahrzeug, um Einkäufe erledigen zu können. Ein Abstellplatz befindet sich unmittelbar am Haus.

Wunderschöne Ferien in Scopello

Die Ferienwohnung ist neu renoviert, sehr sauber, und gut ausgestattet. Die Vermieter sind super nett, haben uns alles gezeigt, wo die schönen Strände sind, gute Restaurants, etc. Gut gefallen hat uns auch der Pool, auch sehr sauber und erfrischend. Wir werden dort bei unserem nächsten Sizilienaufenthalt auf jeden Fall wieder wohnen

Ein wunderschöner Urlaub

Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet und die Lage perfekt. Es liegt ruhig, ganz nah am Strand und ins Dorf sind es nur wenige Minuten mit dem Auto. Die Vermieter sind sehr gastfreundlich und man fühlt sich wie zu Hause. Wir hatten tolle zwei Wochen und werden mit Sicherheit noch einmal wiederkommen. Eine absolute Urlaubsempfehlung!

Good location moderately equipped

We were there in October with our two kids. Between Palermo, San Vito lo Capo and Zingarro nature reserve this spot is really one of the best locations in Sicily’s north west. Basically the two stars off the maximum is due to the lower value for money and an unpleasant discussion with the owner: The water is heated by sun collectors. Which means that when it was cloudy (happened a few times) it has been difficult for me and my wife to take a hot shower. We have been informed on this only when checking in. The kitchen equipment is really very limited and worn down. The non sticky Teflon pots are extremely scretched. And there was also only one pot with lid. No knifes for preparing food, cheese grinder etc. The internet connection is terrible as it constantly interrupts and, at least on apple devices, often does not reconnect automatically. While I believe the owner that in this region this is the best you can get, this will be big problem if you need to rely on a good connection (e.g. for work or kids entertainment in the evening). Because the kids took off the anyway loose cover of the sofa the owners accused us to be also responsible for the stains underneath (claiming they have not been there before). I guaranteed that it was not the kids (who never were alone there) nor us. But the discussion, almost argument, happened twice, during our stay and afterwards (when discussing the deposit). In the end they did not charge us. Having a good insurance, the money would not have been the issue anyway but it was a very unpleasent situation. The house itself is really spacious including the balcony with great view and the pool. The owners described everything very precisely in a folder: sights, restaurants, supermarkets etc. and of course all the do’s and donts for the apartment. Being there in October we sometimes felt a bit lonely as there were not really many people in the other houses in the neighborhood. Especially when the alarm in the neighborhood went off during two nights. As mentioned because of the limitations in hot water, internet and kitchen equipment compared to the price we paid, I think it is not really good value for money.

Outstanding, breathtaking views from villa

We had an amazing week at this beautiful villa. The views are amazind. Im not sure i have stayed anywhere with a better view. The villa itself was lovely and immaculate. We loved having our own private pool. There are lovely walks to two beaches and the very pretty village of Scopello, where we enjoyed spending several evenings. Mariella was a very helpful, kind host. We loved staying here and would love to return.

Beautiful house in a stunning location

The house was immaculate with a stunning view of the sea and the national reserve. Mariella was a great host, was very thorough and gave us some good information about the area. The house is lovely, but it’s the outdoor space we really enjoyed. Seating areas at the front and back and around the pool were excellent. We had sole use of the pool and used it every day. There are two pebble beaches nearby. One is a two minute walk downhill which gets really busy, but has a couple of bars/cafes. The other is about 10 minutes walk and is much smaller and quieter. Both are lovely with crystal clear water. The village of Scopello is about a 20 minute walk with the first part all uphill. Scopello itself is lovely with a few shops and excellent restaurants. The nearest small supermarket is a five minute drive and the produce is outstanding. A great place to stay and relax. We will definitely be back.

Wonderful stay

We just spent a lovely week in this beautiful house by the sea. If you want to enjoy turquoise coves and a quiet natural sorrounding in Sicily, this place is unbeatable. Mariella was extremely welcoming and nice. The house spacious, spotless and new. We had all the privacy we needed and truely enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended!

Alt i alt et udemærket sted med en dejlig privat pool. Beliggenheden var fantastisk og det var et behageligt og rent hus og område til huset.Selvom værterne var super venlige og søde, havde vi dog håbet på noget mere privatliv end tilfældet var, da de var til stede næsten halvdelen af vores ophold, hvilket vi ikke vidste på forhånd.Det havde været rart at få at vide på forhånd, at man i det område af Sicilien ikke må drikke vandet fra vandhanen, da det faktisk blev lidt bøvlet for os med vores autistiske søn. Køkkenet og udstyret var ret slidt og nok ikke helt egnet til at man laver meget mad selv, ligesom de udendørs grill faciliteter var meget slidte.

Perfection!

One of the best rentals we’ve ever stayed in. The location is perfect - private pool + beach with great snorkeling within a 3 minute walk. You can beat the crowds down to the beach, or just enjoy the stunning view from the balcony and pool. The house itself is comfortable, well-equipped, with great air conditioning in the bedrooms. The hosts are very helpful, offering local suggestions and thorough orientation to the amenities. Private parking is easy, adjacent to the house. We traveled with our children (under 10), and the hosts were equally as welcoming to them - a great family retreat in Sicily!

Wonderful house with great view

We had a great stay with friendly and helpful hosts. The house has an amazing view over the ocean and the nearby places are fantastic. We could easily have spent more days there. N.B.: You will absolutely need a car to get to this house. N.B.: Be mindful that the number of rooms available is based on the number of guests. In the ad, it appears you book a 3 room house but it turned out only 2 bedrooms were included in the price, as we were 4 people travelling. Luckily, the hosts were very helpful even though we arrived late in the evening and we could sort out the extra room for an additional fee. This was critical to us as we have an autistic teenage son who needs his own room when he travels with us.

We are a family of three : my partner and I are both teachers, our daughter, Irene, is 18 and attends the first year of university.

My family has had this house since the 80s. We bought it when this was still an unknown place, enchanted by the stunning location and the quiet. We live in Palermo, but we come here at least a few weeks every year in the summer and whenever we come it is for us a break from the noise and the stress of our daily life. We love the colours, which change according to the season, the silence, broken only by the singing of the birds and the sound of the waves from the nearby beach, the smells, a mixture of flowers from the garden and sea water. We could sit for hours just enjoying the peace and the view.

The beach is at few steps from the house and the beautiful reserve Lo Zingaro at 1 km. Besides the house lies just between the sea and the mountains, offering the chance of mountain walks to the trekking lovers.
