Kat's Meow in der Tat! Sie bekommen das Beste aus allen Welten. Direkt am Strand gelegen. Sie haben Privatsphäre, wann immer Sie möchten, oder genießen die Annehmlichkeiten des Gulf Shores Plantation Resort, darunter 5 Außenpools, Innenpool, Whirlpools, Tennis, Basketball, Shuffleboard, Putting Green, Grill- / Picknickplätze und vieles mehr. Alles nur wenige Schritte von dieser großartigen Lage entfernt.

In der Bucht von Bon Secour, 1,6 km von der Unterkunft entfernt, gibt es eine öffentliche Bootsrampe für diejenigen, die gerne angeln und Krabben fangen. Wanderer werden den einfachen Zugang zum Naturschutzgebiet lieben. Golfer können den erstklassigen Kiva Dunes-Golfplatz von Alabama direkt nebenan sowie 5 weitere Golfplätze im Umkreis von wenigen Kilometern genießen. Nach einem erlebnisreichen Tag können Sie im nahe gelegenen Gulf Shores gut essen und das Nachtleben genießen.

Die riesige Master Suite verfügt über einen eigenen Balkon mit Blick auf den Golf von Mexiko. Die Sonnenuntergänge sind spektakulär! Die Master-Suite verfügt über einen großen Whirlpool im Garten und eine separate, ebenerdige Dusche. Alle vier Schlafzimmer sind gut ausgestattet mit separaten Bädern und viel Stauraum. The property was great for morning walks on the beach and listening to the waves at night after spending the day in Gulf Shores. Michael, the host, was easy to communicate with and was there to assist when we had a hiccup with the houses A/C. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect house for our multigenerational group. Grandparents had their own room and bathroom on the first floor. All aunts/uncles and cousins had rooms and bathrooms upstairs. Also loved the outdoor shower. Great setup!The sunrises and sunsets were spectacular.

KatsMeow is facing the peaceful beach in Fort Morgan with beautiful views. We enjoyed watching the dolphins along with the sun rise and sun set. Just steps to the beach and pool. Housekeeping needs to tighten up some but still clean. We never got the upstairs TVs to work but wasn't a major issue. Great accomodations with great value. Looking forward to next summer.

Wonderful Place!

Kats Meow was wonderful - my family misses it already! For anyone looking to be just outside the hustle and bustle of Gulf Shores, while still having access to it, look no further. We comfortably parked four cars. The private outdoor shower and patio areas were great. I didn’t think we would need two refrigerators, but we did. Would recommend to anyone.

Great family vacay! House was close to the pool and boardwalk to get out onto the beach. Still a bit of a hike to get out there to set up tents but closer than the rest of the units. Nice shaded area under the house for grilling. Large picnic table that accommodated most everyone. 2 refrigerators which was a huge bonus for us. Limited space in living room for all of us to fit & some of the furniture was definitely quite used & not as comfy. 4 bedrooms upstairs and 1 downstairs. Bathroom situation upstairs was a bit of a scramble but we managed. Not sure it was as clean as we would’ve expected but wasn’t gross by any means. Overall was a nice enough place to stay. For reference we had 9 adults and 2 kids.

We really enjoyed our stay. The Kats Meow was roomy and clean when we arrived. The host had lots of beach supplies stored up for our use. This was helpful for those who flew down and couldn’t bring their own. The four bathrooms were very helpful too and it was decorated very beachy!

Perfect Beachfront Stay for Our Big Family!

We had an amazing time with our family of 13 across three generations. The beachfront location with a beach walkway and resort pool right outside the door was unbeatable. The downstairs deck with a grill and picnic table was perfect for gathering, and the open floor plan and big kitchen with a beach view made meals easy and enjoyable. Plenty of space, great views, and everything we needed for a fun and relaxing stay!!!

Couldn’t be beat!

The house was perfect for our party of 4 adults and 6 kids ages 5-13. The location was the best….right on the beach, right next to the boardwalk and one of the pools. The rooms were perfect for our needs! It is well stocked in the kitchen and we had everything we needed for our meals. The outdoor shower was so nice and helpful! It was a great trip….we even got to see the heron a couple of days.

This was our second time to stay at the Kat's Meow and we absolutely love it there. The location is amazing and the resort has everything you need. The new outdoor shower is a great addition. Mike was a fantastic host and responded quickly to my questions. We can't wait to go back for another week!

Great Family Time

I liked this house from the first time I saw it. We were going to have mostly adults and the sleeping worked out fine. Also, everyone was coming from different directions meaning several cars. I thought 5 but it turned out to be 6. I sent Mike a request on parking the number of cars expected. He was fast to respond that yes it could handle 5 and that the resort had extra parking if needed. As it turned out, it handled 6. The people at the guard house were very friendly and also informed us of the extra parking if needed. All driving, check-in and check-out directions were given in a timely manner and accurate. Everything went without a hitch. Each time I contacted Mike I got a very timely response.The house was great!! Beautiful view of the beach with easy access. The master bedroom is something else. On first seeing, my wife thought it was a second living room. Huge. We loved the location. Far enough out towards Fort Morgan to be a quieter area but still convenient to the Gulf Shores/Orange Beach area.The closest thing to a negative that I have is that it truly has only the basics supplied. This isn't a complaint. It is as advertised as all VRBO houses advertise this. There are plenty of cooking utensils/pots and pans. One set of silverware. If you don't want to have to wash silverware each meal take some plastic ware and paper plates. No seasonings, laundry or dish detergent. As advertised. We usually wait to get this stuff on arrival as some houses do have some items.

Nice place to stay!

Overall it was a nice place to stay. It could have been cleaned a bit better (dirty towel still hanging from the door, hair in the shower). Good communication with Mike. Quickly got a repair done while we were there (broken railing). Nice complex, with other places available for those that don't fit/want to stay in the same house.

Great Location

Located on the beach and close to outdoor amenities. Plenty of room for the family. Communication with owner is very timely. Not all of the tvs were set up to work. We were there the coldest week in February and did not have access to indoor amenities so had to rent a studio to get the indoor amenities.

Best trip ever

Sixteen of us stayed at Cat’s Meow for five nights (four days) over Thanksgiving. Adults were outnumbered 10 to 6, with children ages ranging from 6-16. The best thing about this house is that it is indeed ON THE BEACH as listed. Nothing but sand between the house and the water. The main living area provided views of the Gulf, and gorgeous sunrise and sunset views. We ate all meals at the house, using an extremely well stocked kitchen. There are plenty of plans, bowls, utensils and even two crock pots, which are not mentioned in the listing. The open kitchen/dining/living room area suited our group wonderfully. The lower storage area under the deck is very well stocked with beach toys and chairs (which are in perfect condition). The outdoor shower is amazing for rinsing off covered-with-sand kiddos. The washer and dryer was a blessing! The set up of the rooms wasn’t perfect for our group, but there is no way it can be for every individual group. We made it work. Our group used the indoor pool on a rainy day, but we had problems with the key card and were not able to use it a second time. Our host is looking into that issue, and I’m sure it is corrected already. We had no issues during our stay that required communication with our host. Everything was as stated. We thought this trip might be a once in a lifetime event, but everyone has agreed that it needs to happen again. Highly recommend this home and host.

Best house in Ft Morgan

Great house, plenty of room for our party of 7 adults and 3 little kiddos (under 2). Loved having the second fridge for beverages, plus a wine fridge! Right on the beach, next to the boardwalk and very close to a community pool. Would definitely rent here in the future.

The views from the balconies are outstanding. There is abundant wildlife and even nesting sea turtles in season. Look for our pal, the big Blue Heron. He likes to perch on the balconies. The dolphins can be seen most days playing in the surf. There is nothing better than sitting on the deck with a cool drink watching the sun slip into the ocean.
