Das Hillside House liegt hoch in den Sanddünen der Venus Bay und ist der perfekte Zufluchtsort am Meer, nur 900 m von den atemberaubenden Stränden der Venus Bay entfernt. Mit Platz zum Entspannen, Spielen, Kochen und Unterhalten wird dieses klassische Strandhaus aus Kalkstein zu einem sofortigen Familienliebling und ist der perfekte Ausgangspunkt, um die wunderschöne Bass Coast von Victoria zu erkunden.

Das Hillside House bietet bequem Platz für 2 Paare und bis zu 3 Kinder. Es erstreckt sich über 2 Ebenen und bietet viel Platz für alle, die sich drinnen oder draußen entspannen, spielen und unterhalten möchten.

WONDERFUL HOUSE!

We loved our stay at Hillside House. Everything from the booking process to the information pre arrival through to the presentation of the house was highly considered and top notch. There is a real sense of care and generosity at this house which makes a fantastic base to explore the beautiful local area or to settle in for board games, books and a glass of wine. Can't wait to return!

Perfect Location

The location to this property is perfect. The pantry supplies were appreciative and quilts were very warm and soft. The kids had fun playing the board games and fireplace was a bonus.

Perfect getaway for us, kids, and grandparents

We had 5 nights over New Years Eve -- our family of four, and my wife's parents. It was the perfect escape for us and we couldn't have had a better time. It was very helpful to be so close to shops and restaurants, and to have only a short walk to the beach. The place was spotless and had everything we needed, and we were very comfortable there. Anna was very quick to respond to any questions and left us a welcome card and several other lovely welcoming touches. Thank you! Highly recommend, we had a fantastic time.

Perfect location

Perfect location across the road from the main town for all your needs . a short stroll to beach one in Venus Bay . Surf fishing or surfing right at your doorstep . The house was so clean a nice cozy feeling with a fireplace upstairs . Winter’s break by the seaside

We stayed here with my husband and two kids and my parents just before the second covid lockdown. We were so lucky to find this property and Anna & Trish were very prompt with their communication and booking process. The best way to describe this property is ‘home away from home’. Not only is the property stylish with a beautiful blend of modern touches it is also equipped with everything you need to make your stay just like being at home. In the evenings my kids hung out at the downstairs rumpus room where they could watch dvds or play Nintendo at nights leaving the upstairs to the adults. Both lounge areas are extremely comfortable and equipped with modern TVs so you can log in to your Netflix or Prime accounts using the free wifi. The local shops are a short stroll from the property and the beach just 900 metres. There is a 10km return walking trail that takes you into lower Tarwin where you can find an IGA and and a nice coffee shop. We would love to come back and experience this house in summer where we could go to the beach and relax on the balcony at night. Would highly recommend.

Comfy, cosy and clean

A lovely, cosy place that was clean and beautifully decorated. Especially loved the huge Monstera plant in the loungeroom. The owner provided a nice bottle of wine on arrival with a card as well as some chocolate, cheese and crackers. You have to bring your own linen but probably a good thing with Corona virus. Short walk to the beautiful beach and driving distance to other nice locations. An enjoyable stay.

Fab Beach House

This property is so well considered, it had everything we needed for a little weekend get away. The weather wasn't great but the house was so well equipped we were happy to stay in and read, play board games and watch movies etc. Very cosy. The beds and bed linen were of a great quality, I hadn't slept this well in a rental before. Thank you Anna for a great stay....we will be back again soon!!

Our favourite Venus Bay Getaway

We've been coming to Venus Bay over the Christmas break for a number of years now and we have to say, hand on heart, this is the BEST place we've stayed. It has everything you could possibly want. Super well appointed. Incredibly comfortable beds. WiFi (in Venus Bay!?!?!). Proper cooking utensils ... the lot. Can't recommend this place enough unless you want to book over Christmas ... only cos we want to book it! Highly recommend!

Lovely spot for a early Christmas get away.

This little hill side houses is a real hidden gem, beautifully put together and furnished, with far more more then we needed. Located just up the road from the local shops and a short walk to some amazing beaches. This was the perfect escape from the city and a great place for me and my partner to celebrate an early Christmas together before we part ways for the holidays.

Beautiful and comfortable home has everything you need

We had a lovely time at Hillside House. The property is equipped with everything that we needed and was very comfortable and welcoming. We enjoyed driving around the local towns and sampling local produce and coming back to Hillside House to relax at the end of the day. Would recommend.

Beautiful, thoughtful and everthing you hope for in a beach cottage

The dream beach getaway, so much thought and passion has gone into making this getaway so beautiful. Everything was so well presented and clean, we didnt want to leave. Such a short and easy walk to the beach, and what a view as you arrive over the hill on the walking path to the water! Having such close proximity to the shops was an unexpected bonus, and the quality of bedding made for such a great nights sleep. As we had really windy weather and heavy rain, the fire made the stay all the more fun and cosy, we agreed that in summer we would love to return and enjoy the back patio under the grape vines. An immaculate home, we are so glad we made the journey to Venus Bay, but this property made the holiday one we will never forget.
