Quite getaway.. endless exploring for kids…. Comfy beds… clean and worth every penny!
My kids 8, 3 and 8 month old had a blast! Sheets, blankets, towels, kitchen gadgets, soaps, paper products, everything has been meticulously thought of and provided.
Outdoor games, kayaks, hammock, grill, outdoor fridge, tiki torches, and so much more!!
I didn’t hear my kid say he was bored ONCE!! That says it all.
Suggestions… if you have kids bring life jackets and a good pair of strong durable water shoes. At high tide water play is all they wanted. At low tide it was all about discovering and with a lot of hermit crabs, muscles and oysters (yum!) around you want their feet protected with some durable water shoes. I’m always on top of my kids, but at this home it was so easy to let them play on the beach without me needing to be on top of them. Also, if you like fishing bring your rod! High tide is great for fishing and the fish were jumping!
Neighbors are quiet and friendly. (Not sure why some other reviews mentioned the barking dog, but we didn’t know they had a dog until days into the trip!)
Plenty of near by things to do as well! Great bagels at Deke’s, there is a kid museum in Niantic, a Dave and Busters, Bishops Oarchard was a great spot for ice cream and some local goodies. Also a bunch of great breweries near by.
I want to go back!!
