Dies ist eine neu renovierte Kabine mit zwei Schlafzimmern und einem Bad am Barrett Lake. Ich möchte, dass Ihr Urlaub so stressfrei wie möglich ist. Deshalb; Bettwäsche, Handtücher, Töpfe und Pfannen, Geschirr, Papierprodukte usw. sind enthalten. Etwas vermissen? Frag mich einfach.

Diese Hütte ist ideal gelegen, in Gehweite zur Stadt, zu einem öffentlichen Angelsteg, zu Picknickplätzen, zu einem Damm, zu einem Spielplatz, zu einem Basketballplatz, zu historischen Gebäuden, zu einer Tankstelle, zu einer Bar / einem Restaurant und zu vielem mehr.

Es gibt auch einen öffentlichen Strand in ca. 1,6 km Entfernung. Diese Hütte befindet sich 10 Minuten vom Elbow Lake entfernt (ca. 30 Minuten von Alexandria und / oder Fergus Falls).

Diese Kabine ist ganzjährig verfügbar. Es ist großartig für einen Familienurlaub, einen Jagdausflug, einen erholsamen Kurzurlaub, ein Wochenende für Damen, einen Kurzurlaub für Herren, einen Angelausflug, Bootfahren, Kajakfahren, Skifahren, Schläuchen oder einfach nur zum Entspannen ... Sie nennen es!

Es gibt auch eine Garage. Voll möbliert.

Great Time!

Had a great time and was perfect for what me and my friends needed only thing I would say is that the blinds in the living room don’t close and it’s a big window so it leaves little privacy. Other than that we had an amazing time and would defiantly recommend it fit 4 people very comfortably! The owner responded fast to any questions/concerns we had an overall an amazing time!

Parking was good. The street is very quiet. It’s an old path to walk down to the cabin, the outside lawn/ flowerbeds and cabin need attention. Inside the cabin was really nice and clean, new floors comfy couch nice big dinner table. However it’s lacking enough towels & wash clothes no instructions on how to operate tv/ ac and it could use some lamps. The deck and dock are nice but nearly impossible to get in / out of the lake it’s large rocks for the shoreline. It met our needs for our weekend motorcycle trip but I wouldn’t rent again if a weekend at the lake was what I wanted.

Great stay

The cabin was a great getaway for a weekend with friends. 4 women, I'd say any more people than that would feel crowded. The ceiling fan didnt work in one of the rooms so it got hot overnight, but the a/c in the living room helped for the rest of the time. The cabin is right on the water which was great and the deck was a nice size to hangout on. 2 in our group cut their feet on zebra mussels in the water, but there's not too much the owner can do about that, just a note for future renters. We werent looking for anything fancy, just a cabin on a lake to get together and this served that purpose. We had a great time.

Great view

What makes the difference for me of good vs great is the accuracy of the listing as well as things that make the renters more prepared for the stay. The listing is a little deceiving. -For example, the bunk house shown in the pictures is not included in the rental and is an additional $25 a night. It does not say that anywhere on the listing. It had also not been cleaned in some time. -Listing says it sleeps 5 but that includes the couch. It wasn't a problem for us because we had an air mattress but for someone who doesn't and expects a bed, that may be a problem. -I would say to future renters, if you're after esthetics for the outside of the building, ask Marnie for updated pics because the pictures are several years old as there is now obvious aging and rotting windows on the outside. -I know the owners have no control over zebra mussels in the lake but keeping up with lake reports for renters can help them prepare. Unfortunately, our dog cut his paw and we ended up with cuts on our feet after attempting to swim. If we knew, we could have brought water shoes. Overall, Marnie was communicative from the get go and when I contacted her about the bunkhouse, she asked what she could do to make it better. Since it didn't effect our stay too much, besides asking for money back, there wasn't anything to do at this point. My suggestion is to update pics, bunkhouse listing, sleep# and lake report. Overall we were satisfied. The view is wonderful and the neighbors are great.

It is not as it seems.

The photos make it look like it’s a tolerable place to stay for the price. It was not. It was dirty and rundown. The bunkhouse was full of leaves and beds that weren’t made. The bedding is old and worn. The shower is full of hard water stains. The closets are unfinished and filled with random things. It’s worth about half of what it’s rented for now. It smelled of mold, mildew and dust VERY strongly. The porch is rotting. Most of the windows in the porch have gaps in them letting in all of the flying critters. This could be a lovely place, but it needs some work.

Great place to spend time with family.

Spent weekend there with my best friend and his two seven year old daughters. We were even able to bring our dogs along. Property was well stocked with all the things we needed (not food, obviously). We had a great time just hanging out and fishing off the dock. Only drawback was water was too mucky to swim on that side of the lake the weekend we went.

It was good I was a little disappointed about the fire pit. When we got there it was in ok shape but once we had a fire going it fell apart. The house was decent to stay in. The pictures looked better than when we got there.

Relaxing get away

House was clean and comfortable, well equipped, we had everything we needed. Lake is beautiful! Outside of house could use some work. We did bring a small gas grill with us so didn’t use grill provided. Will keep it in mind for the future.

Rustic, cozy cabin for relaxing stay

This cabin was exactly what we wanted…we LOVED it!! We were happy to find parking off-street in a safe quiet neighborhood. We met neighbors on both sides and they were lovely, friendly people. There are a couple restaurant/bars in this small town that are good too. But it’s a small town with only a gas station, no grocery store so come with supplies. Lol The deck is awesome. We spent most of our time out there. We brought a folding table and our own camp chairs but there were a couple camp chairs there. We fished from the dock, we grilled, had a fire in the pit a couple nights, and enjoyed our coffee every morning on the deck. The bedrooms are basic but the beds are all comfortable. The linens feel like hand-me-downs so investing in high-end linens would make guest feel like guests. The kitchen has a lot of plates, cups, mugs, and pans, not enough silverware or cooking utensils. We bought a bunch at the thrift store and donated :-) Everything works and there is plenty of counter space for prep. The huge windows in the living room are great for the lake views. The breeze is also fantastic. There is a window a/c in the living room which cools the main living space but it doesn’t reach the bedrooms well. We found after dark, we opened the windows and it was cool enough to sleep. The cabin is a great place, Marnie was quick to respond to questions, we will definitely be back!

Nice Little Lake House

Location was great. We fished right off the dock all hours of the day and night. Had a nice sized deck to relax and bbq dinner on. Small town was friendly and the restaurant we ate at was surprisingly good.

The property is just as described. The neighbor was helpful. The property is right on the waterfront which makes for some amazing views and a great time in the water . Marnie was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. I am looking forward to returning to this property someday!

Marnie Perfetti’s house has a living room w/ a couch, TV and a nice view of Lake Barrett. An outbuilding w/ two beds pictured in the listing photos is presented as usable. The door was so warped it would not close; it was full of leaves and debris. Rumpled sleeping bags on the beds made it look like someone was staying there. Parts of the main cabin porch were completely rotted out. These don’t appear in listing pics which are angled to leave them out. Broken window frames let flies inside. The inside was clean in some places, but dirty in others. We had to wash dishes. We washed all the sheets because there was hair, dirt, & sand on them. When we arrived, there was a wet towel on the bathroom floor. The next morning, we saw that the toilet leaked at the base; the deteriorated sealant needed repair. On our 3rd night, the toilet overflowed. Then water started backing up into the bathtub, the bathroom sink, & the kitchen sink. Unable to use the bathroom or the kitchen, we were forced to clean, pack, leave & rent hotel rooms. We asked Perfetti to refund 1 night plus our hotel costs. She covered the hotel rooms, but not the amount we paid for the last night. She responded with profanity when asked why she listed a place that was in poor condition and potentially unsafe. Perfetti maintained it was an unpredictable, “unfortunate” incident. But, someone knew there was a problem because they left a towel on the bathroom floor! The plumbing should have been fixed long ago.

Beautiful location

Our family had a beautiful beautiful time. The weather was crappy, but we were able to watch movies play games cook food enjoy each other’s company. We even got to fish just a little bit and actually caught one neighbors are very friendly and helpful with directions.
