Das Boat House ist ein Haus mit einer Galerie-Atmosphäre, der Raum hat hohe Decken und eine Wand aus Fenstern mit Blick auf die Boothbay Shipyard, den Hafen und die dahinter liegenden Inseln. Es gibt viele originelle Ölgemälde und Antiquitäten, die mit kühnen, modernen Möbeln gemischt sind und das böhmische / industrielle Ambiente unterstützen. Derzeit befindet sich im ersten Stock ein Ladenlokal, in dem die Bewohner das geräumige 2. und 3. Stockwerk des Gebäudes bewohnen. Das dreistöckige Deck bietet Essbereiche im Freien, einen Gasgrill und einen bequemen Sitzplatz, von dem aus Sie einen einzigartigen Blick auf Häuser, Geschäftsgebäude und den Hafen haben.

Nahe dem Ende der Commercial Street in der Innenstadt von Boothbay Harbor, Maine, liegt dieses einzigartige Haus nahe genug, um das Zentrum der Hafenaktivitäten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Das Boat House befindet sich gegenüber einer historischen Werft und ist nur einen Steinwurf vom Meer entfernt. Es ist ein perfekter Zufluchtsort für Familien mit Kindern, Haustieren oder beidem.

Mit drei Schlafzimmern gibt es viel Platz, um Ihren Urlaub in Maine zu genießen. Zwei Zimmer haben Doppelbetten und das dritte Schlafzimmer hat ein Etagenbett. Das Bootshaus verfügt über zwei Vollbäder mit Badewannen- / Duschkombinationen, eines auf jeder Etage.

Für den Zugang zum Bootshaus sind Treppen erforderlich. Es besteht aus der zweiten und dritten Etage eines dreistöckigen Gebäudes. Mit einer voll ausgestatteten Küche, einem Essbereich, Wäschemöglichkeiten und hochwertiger Bettwäsche fühlen Sie sich in diesem gut ausgestatteten Urlaubsziel wie zu Hause.

Als Gast des Boat House profitieren Sie vom Concierge-Service des Topside Inn, der Ihnen bei der Reservierung von Restaurants und bei der Planung Ihres perfekten Urlaubs in Boothbay Harbor behilflich ist. Leider ist es uns nicht möglich, Gäste der drei Ferienwohnungen zum Frühstück im Gasthof unterzubringen. Boothbay Vacation

We were looking for a great place to stay near Downtown Boothbay and this place did not disappoint. We enjoyed the views, shops and plenty of places to eat!! Mark was great to work with and communication was great. Would rent from them again.

We recently had friends stay at Mark and Buzz's property in Boothbay Harbor, Maine, for a long weekend, and it couldn't have been more perfect! The property exudes class and elegance in every corner, making for an incredibly comfortable and luxurious stay. The proximity to town was unbeatable, allowing our friends to easily explore all that Boothbay Harbor has to offer. They couldn't stop raving about the beautifully appointed rooms, stunning views, and top-notch amenities. This property truly made their weekend getaway an unforgettable experience. Wonderful stay!

Mark was an exceptional host. Everything was perfect for us. The home is in a great location, close to all the shops and restaurants. We walked nearly everywhere with a few exceptions outside of town. The cleaning was outstanding! The deck looks out onto a shipyard by the water where a boat from the 1800s was being restored. The view of the harbor is just beautiful. We LOVED our stay here. No wonder it was a resounding 5.0 star review. We give it the same rating. If you like staying in all the action of a small town this place is for you. Thanks Mark (and Buzz) for your help and your perfect hospitality.

Amazing location and a unique and comfortable home

My wife, dog and I had a great stay at Mark's Boathouse. The location is amazing as it overlooks the shipyard and harbor. The house is comfortable, clean and well appointed. It is also walking distance to anything you need, but outside of the hustle and bustle of downtown. Mark was great to work with and in touch and available without being intrusive. We would highly recommend the Boathouse and we will certainly be visiting Mark's other properties.

Fabulous Boothbay Harbor Trip

We spent Thanksgiving at The Boathouse property and it was really perfect. The hosts were exceptionally thoughtful with all the little details that really enriched our stay—they provided everything you could need. The space was bright, beautiful and so comfortable. Terrific house, Terrific location

Wonderful house for our family of 5 adults and a miniature poodle. Previous reviews mention how clean, well appointed, and fun this house is to stay. We particularly enjoyed the upstairs TV/family room, and large dining table. In addition, we were able to easily park our 22 ft camper van and a mid size suv in the driveway next to the house. We are coming back next year. Terrific house and location!

Excellent location and accommodations

The property is located very conveniently within walking distance of Boothbay Harbor. It offer big windows and a great up deck to view the water. The large dinning table is great for family to sit and talk or enjoy meals together. The beds are comfortable and clean. Definitely recommend!

Wonderful Location

Beautifully appointed home with comfortable and upgraded furnishings. We were visiting Boothbay for a family wedding and loved the convenience of this home to all the downtown shops and restaurants. We did have our 3 year old, 11 month old and older grandparents staying at the home with us and the spiral staircase inside is a bit difficult with young children and elders with bad knees. There are exterior stairs to access both floors so that is helpful. Just wanted to note as we were not aware the only interior staircase was a spiral one. Other than that our stay was fantastic and would recommend to other family and friends visiting the area!

The Boathouse was the Best!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Boothbay! This house was so clean…especially the bathrooms and showers! The towels and bed linens were bright white, soft, and fresh. The beds were extremely comfortable! And the location was just perfect! Quick walk to the shops and restaurants! We loved every bit of our vacation! Can’t wait to come back!

Don't tell anybody!

Thank you Mark for making our Christmas special. The location of this house couldn't be more perfect. A short walk to the Gardens Aglow shuttle and our favorite restaurant Ports of Italy. Although December isn't known for deck sitting the new deck is beautiful! We spent time in front of the fire enjoying the view and our time together. Looking forward to next year!

Great get away

The boathouse is a great property. Mark and Buzz at the Topside were great support and offered many wonderful options regarding things to do and where to eat. The property has nice views, is an easy walk to town, and well appointed. We’ll be back!

Boothbay Harbor-great location & great loft!!

If you are looking for a place to stay along the Maine coastline, this is the spot - Boothbay Harbor!! Beautiful scenery, great location to travel to attractions and the other coastal towns/villages, and a peaceful atmosphere. The property was perfect for our family of 5. Everyone had their own bed. Very soft sheets! A/C units in each bedroom were a plus. The 2 full bathrooms worked out great. Very nice towels and Beekman 1802 toiletries!! It was also nice to have the washer, dryer and detergent available to use. Enough seating in the dining area and the upstairs living room. Nice furnishings, great lighting and decorated very nice. The outdoor top deck was fantastic. The location of the property was walking distance from the downtown area of Boothbay Harbor so it was great just to walk in and go shopping, go out to eat and walk around. Definitely recommend to go in all the stores, visit Shannon's Unshelled for the best lobster roll ever and go on a Schooner sailboat ride with Eastwind. Also, the Harborside Tavern had great ribs and fish tacos/sandwich. The Boathouse Bistro Tapas Bar and Restaurant had the best mussels, and the blueberry pancakes with real maple syrup were amazing at the Blue Moon Cafe. Mark and Buzz were great hosts. Very nice people and easy to communicate with by email and text. They provided a lot of information on places to go, things to see and do and places to eat. An added perk was the discounted tickets to the Botanical Gardens and Schooner sailboat ride. My family and I were very happy that the property was available for our first trip to Maine. No question about it, just book it ;)

Best home in the best town on the Maine coast

This property is breathtaking. From the 3rd floor balcony to the spacious living area and two full baths, it provided everything we needed and more. It's a short 5-min walk from the shops and is across from a historic shipyard which lets you appreciate one of Maine's oldest industries. Boothbay harbor is the best town on the coast (and we've seen a few!) providing the best in food and recreation. From the moment we booked, Mark was very communicative and provided every bit of info we needed. Checkin was seamless and he even offered to tell us a bit about the town and the best spots.

We are Mark & Buzz, we have lived in Boothbay Harbor since 2003 and own the Topside Inn and Mid-Town Motel. We have four rental homes in the area as part of the Boothbay Vacation Home portfolio; “Dock View” and ‘The Boathouse” are in the downtown area, “Water’s Edge Cottage” is on Linekin Bay and “The Lake House” is located on West Harbor Pond. We are very fortunate to be able to live and work is such an incredibly beautiful area and we are here to answer any questions and help our guests plan a fun and relaxing vacation in mid-coast Maine. This is a wonderful property, with a great vibe. Built in the 1970's the home is retro and modern and the same time. The first floor has a full kitchen that opens to a large dining room with a long wooden table that comfortable fits 8 to 10 guests. There is a small sitting area for the adults to relax and play cards. There are windows on three sides with views over the street and shipyard. There is a full bathroom and laundry on this level.
Up a wooden spiral staircase is a large living room with soaring vaulted ceilings and a wall of windows looking out over the tops of the shipyard buildings to the harbor and island beyond. The three bedroom and full bathroom are also on the level.
The three-story deck has comfortable furniture, dining table and chairs and a gas grill. The gallery space on the first floor is currently not occupied.

We have all stayed in 'rental properties' that feel like rental properties; minimal kitchen equipment, 1 pot, 1 pan, 8 plates, 8 knives, forks and spoons, sparsely furnished rooms and bathrooms, and art from HomeGoods (I do like HomeGoods). This is not what you will find at our properties. We have lived in three of the four homes and have outfitted and furnished these homes completely. You will feel like you are staying at a friend’s home who happens to be away. The art work is real, the furniture is high quality and we use the same high-end linens we use at our five-star hotel. We have had guests cook Thanksgiving dinner at our homes and we very happy to find everything they needed. And, if something is missing, we are there to take care of it for you.
