Overall it was a good stay, close to the beach, pool on property and enough space for all of us. However the inside was covered with dust and sand upon arrival. The fridge made a loud noise every hour, we think the ice machine, which was also not working. There were not enough towels in the house for every room to have one. All forms of communication were ignored. Could not get a hold of the host for the entire stay. The house itself was well maintained and very close walk to the beach.

Within steps to the beach

The house was perfect for our family. Everyone had a comfortable bed, the kitchen was fully stocked, and the views were awesome. It was a quit area, private and a very clean beach. The sand and the water were fantastic with lots of shells and NO sea weed. We definitely will go back.

Duck for the win!

We loved being able to be right at the beach and have plenty of room. Duck has a very nice small town feel and the more touristy areas are not far away. It was a very relaxing vacation and the location was perfect for the activities we wanted to do. My son lost his wallet and the company went above and beyond to locate it (in the couch cushions) and mail it to us very quickly. We would definitely reccomend this property!

Our son n future daughter in law just graduated from college. My husband n I n her family went to Duck Island for a few days post graduation. We had a wonderful time, great seafood, accommodations were perfect n fun celebrating our children’s accomplishments. Thank you!

Positives: location in Duck and proximity to beach; positive experience working with maintenance technicians; pool was clean; kitchen was adequately stocked.Room for improvement: Cleanliness (recycling from previous guests not emptied; floors/apliances/tables not cleaned well, furniture not moved back into place; blankets not folded); HVAC and fridge issues; timeliness in Outer Banks Blue getting back to us on maintenance inquiries. Images were a bit misleading in regard to size of amenities like the pool. These issues were not enough to get in the way of enjoying ourselves, but we may go back to Twiddy rentals.

Great property with ocean views suitable for a large family

If you want a place in the Outer Banks for a large group, this property has almost everything for your needs. The bedrooms are large, all with en suite bathrooms, the kitchen is fully equipped, it is literally steps from the beach. The top floor living which includes one bedroom, 1.5 bathrooms, the living room, a dining area and the kitchen, is large and bright, with lots of windows and a sliding door to the porch. If you want to cook you need to bring all consumables with you, including oil, salt, sugar, dishwashing liquid, sponge, etc., which are sometimes available at other properties, but not at this one. Management did inform us of this fact beforehand, and were kind enough to give us extra dishwasher pods (one packet was provided, which we wanted to keep for checkout) when we asked, and were prompt with responses to other questions. Overall a wonderful experience.

Amazing location

Love this house, great views!! Had everything needed and more. Duck is such a cute and unique town to be close too. The beach is unbelievable. We can’t wait to come back.

Great House and Location!

We stayed for Thanksgiving weekend - Myself, My Husband, My 5 year old son and his 2 grandpas. The house was SO spacious, everyone had their own room and full bathroom. Living space is set up nicely- 2 sinks in the kitchen was a bonus! The house is angled so that you have a panoramic ocean view from everywhere in the common living area upstairs. The beach is literally steps away. The only thing we didn't get to enjoy was the pool but imagine it is so nice in the summer!

Great House!

Location was fantastic - just steps to the beach, and great views. House was nicer than the photos. Well-maintained and stocked, comfortable beds, good showers. I would stay here again.

Wonderful Beach House

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is fantastic and the home was very clean and nicely appointed. The pool and beach right there were awesome! We couldn’t have asked for anything better. Great value too. Can’t wait to return!
