After having stayed at the apartment, we were charged 300 for a dishwasher gasket that was in perfect operation during our stay. I always stayed at vrbo and have never encountered this type of situation. When I tried to reach out to the host there was no response just the charge. Very disappointing

Great location and apartment - Wont Come Back Though!

Great location, well-kept and beautiful apartment. Had a great time with a family of 8, though at an additional expense. Owner is very responsive and adjusting as far as check in/out process. Now to the cons that led to unnecessary headache during our stay for basic amenities that were missing or not provided - Minimum stay of this property is 3 days but be prepared to carry or arrange for toilet paper, dish washer cleaner, dish cleaner, kitchen towels, and yes even trash bags. The supplies were provided only for a day and we had to purchase everything for the remaining 5 days, which was an additional expense for us on top of what we paid for this apartment. We left the house and belongings as clean as possible, but we were still charged a substantial amount for replacement of towels and we were informed that the towels were brand new and that we had discolored one of the towels with bleach, which was so not true as we didn’t even wash the towels before we left and why would anyone want to load their laundry card at the last day for which there's a minimum amount. Its been over 20 days and I have still not received the refund for the security deposit minus charge for replacement of towels!

Dear Sumit. The cleaning company only provide amenities for a few days and is not like a hotel service that provides daily in basic thing and towels.

Just OK

The condo is in an older building that was converted from apartments a few years back. There appears to be some remodeling performed but several things that just need some work. Door handle to the unit feels like it may fall off, boards just screwed to the ceiling in the master bath to cover a hole. The baseboards had dirt on them and apparently haven’t been cleaned for awhile. Most of the rest of the condo was good. The condo is next to the elevator and you can hear it. There is a short want to the beach that wasn’t bad. The park next door was nice. The pool was nice other than the construction noise next door. Very noisy. I messaged before and during our stay and didn’t receive any response except where to find the WiFi code. Very limited instructions for arrival or checkout. Non responsive when I asked about a checkout at noon instead of 10am. Overall not a bad place to stay but didn’t meet my expectations based on previous reviews and photos. Communication was lacking. Not an option for me if traveling to Miami again.

Could be a nice place if issues resolved

The kitchen sink doesn’t drain, disposal doesn’t work, sink leaks into a bucket under sink.The toaster doesn’t work.The master bathroom sink drains slowly,toilet doesn’t flush properly, and shower drains slowly.Coffee maker leaks water, lid falls off the pot and also where you put the water in.There are no starter sets of soap to wash dishes or any kind of cleaner to use for spills, having a small starter set would be good.Lack of towels/dish rags for the kitchen We had six people but only 3 wash cloths, 4 hand towels.The kitchen needs a few storage containers and a pitcher to make tea or juice. There were only 4 spoons. There were no extra trash bags. We didn’t cook here as there really wasn’t much for cooking utensils. There is one frying pan. Had planned to do more cooking but lack of adequate items makes it difficult. No seasonings for cooking, you have to bring your own. There was less than a half roll of toilet paper left in each bathroom when we arrived and no extra under the sink. There is no hand soap just two empty bottles on the counters. Positive things we noted:The sitting area inside is very nice. It has a great table to dine at. The balcony is nice to sit out on, has a table and 2 chairs.The location is good with nice views. The beach chairs and umbrella made a very nice time at the beach, note one of the chairs back-strap is broken. Dedicated parking spot is great. List sent to owner/manager a few days after we arrived. Nothing was resolved while there.

The stay was ok the only thing I had a problem with was at night it felt like we slept in a sauna! I did reach out to the apt manager it wasn’t any justice at all. She only told me that it gets hot like that in Florida and all doors and windows should be kept closed. All doors and windows were closed it wasn’t hot out and it was at night with cloudy weather the whole time. So there was absolutely no reason for the apartment to be that hot inside with those weather conditions.

Condo was good overall. It was clean and fully equipped with plenty of beach essentials (chairs, umbrellas, beach ball, toys, and towels). Parking was good but confusing to initially locate. Parking garage clicker was malfunctioning and condo staff were helpful.

Good Stay on Sunny Isles Beach

Overall, we were pretty happy our experience! Communication with the owner started out a bit slow (not a HUGE issue for me personally). Only negative feedback that I’d have is some “deep” cleaning would help this property. But, overall, we were very happy. It was awesome the property had beach chairs, umbrellas, toys, towels, etc.. This was not expected and came in SUPER handy. Very easy 5 min walk to the beach is very accurate in the description. Each room in the apartment came equipped with its very own television which was great as well! We controlled the thermostat in all areas of the apartment as well which is nice (other VRBO’s we’ve stayed this was not the case). Staff at the facility were quite friendly & willing to help when needed. Nice pool & park around the apartment complex as well!! When we return to Ft.Lauderdale/Miami area we’ll definitely look to see if this is open again!

Everything in the description is accurate. The place is really nice. There were some minor issues. The check in process was a bit of a hassle and the folks at the front desk were rude. In terms of the staff on grounds, we didn’t always feel very welcomed. There were inconsistencies with requirements to “rent” items for the pool table. My last complaint is there were dirty dishes. The amenities were awesome. We had secure parking. There is a store on the lobby level. Laundry room right across the hall from the condo. The beach is a 5 minute walk across the street. There is also a park on the grounds but it was closed. Probably because of covid. There is a grill area by the pool that we used. It was perfect. There are beach chairs in the condo- these came in handy as well. Kitchen is well equipped. There was even a bullet to make smoothies. In the lobby there are grocery carts to help carry things to your room..i.e groceries. There are amazing views of the skyline. Not necessarily the ocean. Still amazing. Overall it was cool. I will definitely check for this place first next time we are in Miami.

This property is Ok. Befor you book make sure that everything is working properly. During out stay master bedroom AC did not work, kitchen cabinet doors where held by the velcro tape, knife set is old, cookware is horrible. However Property has everything thar you need, beach chairs, many towels and location. Conclusion if you looking for the place for the weekend and will be eating out most of the time this place is fine. But for anything longer-term like a week look elsewhere.

Overall happy with the stay.

This property was very clean and great location, very close to the beach. Overall I was very happy. Mostly just disappointed with the communication with the owner. I wasn’t given any directions as to how to check in until the day of rental. I was getting nervous it was not a legit rental because I didn’t hear anything back when I messaged them and was given the wrong access key at first. Also the shower head (which was clearly already broke since it was duct taped) fell and hit me on the head and I messaged the owner and I never even heard anything back. The drains were clogged as well and the listing said there was a hot tub and sauna which wasn’t true.

Great!

Easy walk to the beach. Wonderful heated pool. Well-equipped kitchen. Laundry facility in the building-yay. Comfortable beds. More toilet paper, paper towels, etc. seems reasonable to provide for this price. Spacious enough for the 7 of us. Great TV, good furniture. Communication could be more prompt but overall easy and just what we were looking for for four nights. Thank you.

Sunny Isles Beach getaway

We had a wonderful stay the week before Christmas. The condo is clean, spacious and well-equiped. The owner was very quick to respond to questions we had about check-in, parking. I would definitely stay at this condo again!
