Abseits vom Lärm und Beton der Innenstadt und nur wenige Blocks von Vancouvers pulsierender Hauptstraße entfernt erwartet Sie unser brandneues Gästehaus mit 2 Schlafzimmern und 2 Bädern und einer großen Terrasse inmitten wunderschöner Gärten in einer ruhigen, von Bäumen gesäumten Straße. Buttercup Gästehaus bietet Platz für bis zu 4 Personen und wir begrüßen Familien mit Kindern oder kleinen Haustieren (bitte informieren Sie uns zum Zeitpunkt der Buchung, da Einschränkungen gelten können). Wir befinden uns 3 km von der Innenstadt und nur 4 Häuserblocks von der U-Bahn-Station King Edward mit direkter Verbindung in die Innenstadt von Vancouver, zum Convention Center und zum Vancouver International Airport (YVR) entfernt. Die Buslinie zur UBC ist nur 2 Häuserblocks entfernt und die Krankenhäuser von VGH, Children’s and Womens 'erreichen Sie nach einem angenehmen 20-minütigen Spaziergang. Für Ihr Auto stehen Parkplätze abseits der Straße zur Verfügung.

Buttercup Gästehaus ist brandneu und makellos gestaltet und mit allem Komfort und Annehmlichkeiten von zu Hause eingerichtet. Wir bieten eine voll ausgestattete Küche, Wäschemöglichkeiten sowie Pflegeprodukte für Bad und Dusche. HDTV, drahtloses Internet (WIFI), Netflix und Festnetztelefon mit kostenlosen Ortsgesprächen. Zwei Schlafzimmer mit bequemen Queensize-Betten, Hochstuhl, Laufstall / Kinderbett, Wickelraum, Babyphone und Klappbett für diese zusätzliche Person, falls erforderlich.

Für Sportbegeisterte haben wir einen sicheren Außenraum für Ihre wertvollen Ski, Snowboards, Fahrräder usw. Bitte keine Fahrräder im Haus.

Awesome Vancouver Laneway House

James and Paula have a wonderfully comfortable laneway house which provided a home away from home shortly after our permanent arrival in Vancouver. Every part of the house has been carefully considered - comfortable beds, bright bathrooms and stocked kitchen. There were also the delicious baked treats upon our arrival. 5 Stars. Highly recommend!!

Wonderful Stay!

We were so glad to have found the Buttercup Guest House while we stayed in Vancouver to visit family. It ticked all the boxes we were looking for (walkable to groceries and restaurants, transit access, a separate space for our baby). Our hosts were at reach to answer any questions and followed up to make sure we had everything we needed. We would absolutely stay again!

Great location

Location was excellent nice neighborhood unfortunately there was construction two houses down so no sleeping in they started at 7am and at times made the place shake Chairs and sofa were uncomfortable way too low and couch cushion pretty much done not a great place if you have knee issues Host was great and loved the muffins and fruit on check in Place was not scent free so not great if you have allergies it may have been due to previous renter leaving heavily scented eye bags stuck inbetween wall and bed which I later discovered but couldn’t get rid of scent entirely Overall the location was the best and the place is really cute

Great 2 months in Vancouver

Buttercup Cottage was a perfect place to stay while visiting Vancouver. The 2 months we stayed, the weather was perfect, our hosts were gracious and helpful in providing tips on places to see and bike routes to explore. No need for a car, as bus, metro and bike routes are close by. It was a home away from home for us. Perfect stay!

The BEST Hosts!

The Hosts of this lovely property are amazing. They are friendly, kind, detail oriented, professional, respectful and communicated with me exceptionally well. They have an in-depth touristy binder filled with restaurant guides to tourist guides for just about anything that Vancouver offers. They are available for questions while providing their guests privacy. The home is exactly as described, and the neighborhood is fabulous. Tall tree lined streets close to shopping, restaurants and easy to get anywhere. Just lovely!

Love the Buttercup House!!

My 2 sisters and I stayed here visiting family. It was the perfect location and perfect vacation rental. Sparkling clean and all the extra touches to the house to make it a home. Kitchen was nicely stocked and appreciated having a grill to use. Providing coffee, milk, fruit and muffins was a welcome surprise. Thanks James...we will be sure to stay again!

Buttercup guest house, home away from home!

Hosts were amazing, communication on point. Any questions answered very quickly. Welcomed with homemade muffins. It met all my needs for the month stay I had there. Felt like a little house of my own. Ready to cook with spices and baking products. Although the area comes with phenomenal restaurants and cafes! Felt safe and cozy! Wouldn’t hesitate in recommending!

We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful home!

We had a fantastic stay! James and his wife were very responsive if we had any issues. The home is very new, clean and has a beautiful interior. Our stay could not have been more comfortable. The bathroom has heated floors. Beds were cozy. We had a enough room for 5 people w an extra cot. We also cooked a meal at home one night. There is one parking spot but a lot of available street parking. Last but not least, James and his wife were incredibly wonderful hosts!

Charming guest house in beautiful neighborhood

This was our second stay at the Buttercup Guest House and this summer we stayed for an entire month. The house is charming and everything you can imagine was provided. The king size bed in the downstairs bedroom is very comfy. The owners live on the property and make themselves available if needed but most of the time the cottage is extremely private. It has a small patio off the kitchen/living room with a great grill. The property is within walking distance to grocery store, restaurants, shopping etc.We travel with our two miniature schnauzers and this property works very well for those with pets. We have rented many other VRBOs but this is by far our favorite,

Complete Perfection

James was the most hospitable and organized host we've ever dealt with through VRBO. A few days before arriving he sent a personal e-mail giving us info about the race we would be running (we were in Vancouver for the BMO Half Marathon) and how to get to the starting line. In addition, a Google Map with some nearby restaurants and recommendations. Everything was meticulously organized on paper, which was awesome to feel like we were well-prepared for our visit. We walked into Buttercup and everything was perfection--down to the fresh fruit and home-baked muffins on the counter, milk in the fridge for coffee, and toys for our two-year-old son to play with. As soon as we arrived, James came over to give us the rundown on how to work the appliances and where we could find different things in the house, which was very much appreciated. It was the perfect size for me and my husband, our toddler, and my best friend. It was clean, tidy, and beautifully decorated. The kitchen supplies were well stocked--pans and bakeware, mixing bowls, etc. They had all of the necessary things for a young child--a pack n play, baby monitor, and high chair (in addition, movies, toys, and even a few books). The patio was so nice to sit out and have a glass of wine in the evening. There was also a grill, although we didn't get a chance to use it. The location was awesome. Just a 10 min walk to Main St where we found some great restaurants and grocery stores. It is also close to mass transit on Cambie and just a short ride or drive to downtown. Queen Elizabeth Park was just a short walk as well. The neighborhood is clean and classy, and we really loved walking through it and admiring all of the homes. If we ever find ourselves in Vancouver again (and we hope we do!), we will be staying at the Buttercup House! We have stayed at many VRBO and AirBnb rentals--Buttercup is by far the best one. The pictures don't do it justice and the customer service provided by James was superb. We would highly recommend this property for couples, friends, or small families. Simply the Best

This is our 5th time staying at Buttercup Cottage and highly recommend. It has a lovely private patio, the beds are very comfortable, kitchen fully equipped, great neighborhood with an abundance of great restaurants near by.

The vacation home is in a great location. 20 minute drive from everywhere! 10 minute walk to QE park. 5 Minute walk to our new favourite cafe - "The Mighty Oak". The Buttercup Guest House was perfect; our host was very accomodating! Couldn't ask for a better experience !!!

A wonderful home away from home.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Butternut house. James and Paula were gracious hosts who provided all the amenities needed. The house was immaculate with great appliances, all utensils and well stoked with cleaning and household products. The location is terrific, on a quiet lane, in a lovely neighbourhood close to everything, including the skytrain. First rate in every respect.

Best location in Vancouver

This property is gorgeous and the location is absolutely amazing. It's far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the city but steps away from Skytrain and the vibrant hubbub of Main Street. It's also a walk or bike ride from Granville Street, Granville Market and 4th Avenue. Queen Elizabeth park makes for a nice daily walk and bike paths are everywhere! The court yard in the back of the laneway house has a beautiful seclusion with tables and chairs and a barbeque for outdoor cooking. The kitchen is more than adequate and had everything we needed. Each of the two bedrooms has a bathroom. Plenty of room for three adults and a pooch! The owners are lovely and accommodated our every need. Highly recommend!!!!!

Wonderful place!

I was very pleased with my stay at James and Paula's house in every way. It was quiet and comfortable and had all the conveniences you'd ever need. With Covid restrictions, I felt very safe being able to stay in such a clean place, plus I was able to have my dog with me. The patio is a real bonus, especially since it's surrounded by beautiful landscaping. The neighbourhood is fantastic to walk around and is close to great parks and restaurants and stores on Main.

Wonderful Vancouver Guest House

The Buttercup Guest House was the best rental accommodation we have stayed in. It was very well situated in a lovely neighbourhood and very close to the Hillcrest recreational facility and Queen Elizabeth Park as well as near numerous restaurants and shops on Main Street. The Guest House itself was extremely well appointed with every possible item one would need to make the stay comfortable. It was exceptionally clean and well maintained and the owner was very approachable and accommodating. We strongly recommend this site to other potential guests. Totally perfect!

James and Paula's place was exactly what we were looking for during our stay in Vancouver. Perfect location, we couldn't have ask for more. Pet friendly, great neighborhood, felt very safe.
