Perfect Stay for our Baseball Tournament at Space Coast Stadium

The house was perfect, everything the description says and even more spacious that anticipated. It was very clean, easy to access and in great location to the events we were in town for. The outside area and common grounds were immaculacy maintained. The pond and tiki house were awesome and access to the dock on the Indian River was great. I would highly recommend this property.

Check-in was simple since the gate and front door codes were provided via email ahead of time. The kitchen was equipped with the basics, except for wine glasses…but we managed! ;) The pool was nice and relaxing after a day on the baseball fields. The property is beautiful and filled with mango trees with fruit ripe for picking! We really enjoyed seeing the chickens in their gorgeous coop. We enjoyed a view of an early morning SpaceX launch from the front yard. The towels and washcloths are luxurious. Loved the folding table in the laundry room!

Breathtaking Oasis

Quick transaction. Heather was responsive to all inquiry. The property was immaculate. Every one in the family gave a thumbs up for the place, even our dog had a big smile on his face when he step into the property. Ample space to move around; comfortable bed. The view of the orchard and the pond is amazing. Most specially , the view of the sunset from the dock is breathtaking. 40 mins from Kennedy Space Center and about 1.5 hours to Disney World. Our family had a wonderful time and would definitely come back.

Peaceful private estate!

This is a great house for relaxing away from the crowds and tourists. Very private and quiet. The house is decorated beautifully with high end finishes and furnishings. No details left out! I would and will definitely be back. A few things I’d change to make it perfect. A optional golf cart to drive to the boat dock and other areas would be appreciated by guests. As you are not allowed to drive your vehicle to the other areas and must walk.A boat lift at the dock would be nice. We brought our boat and planned to use the dock to tie up. But, after inspecting the dock height and condition there was a risk of damaging our boat. So, we decided we’d just trailer back and forth to the ramp each day.A larger tv in the living room would be nice. The living room is very large and guests set pretty far away from the tv.

Since you mentioned a concern about clearance, could it have been due to the water level being unusually low during your visit? That information would help us better assist future boat users. If you find it easier next time, you’re more than welcome to drive partway and park by the pond—it’s spacious and typically quiet You’re also totally on point about the TV situation and I’m excited to let you know that a larger TV is arriving this month. The 3rd bedroom is not really a bedroom, but a room with pocket doors off the living room. There was 1/3 roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and that was it. Toilet seat was cracked completely through on the hallway bathroom. Master toilet doesn't really flush properly. Someone before us had a dog there and there was pet hair still around from their visit, and if you have allergies, best plan to bring your own tissues. Kitchen was clean, as were the showers. Very handy to have washer and dryer on premises. Not a great location if you want to take a morning walk since it is off a busy road. Overall I would say it is average, but suggest owners at least provide more than a roll of toilet paper, paper towels and include a tissue box for the house. Location was convenient to surrounding areas.

Cookie, the homeowner would like to share the following message: "I’m glad you enjoyed your stay overall and will replace the cracked toilet seat. Thanks for letting us know. We are pleased to hear you enjoyed the central location of this property. Many people enjoy driving down the exclusive South Tropical Trail alongside the Indian River and Banana River to get to the home. Although the property does not have a sidewalk adjacent to it, it is a gated 2-acre private property. We provide the home with a starter kit of toilet paper. The rolls are new but are not a jumbo size to reduce waste seeing we change out the rolls after every stay. Our starter kit does not include tissue paper but does include toilet paper, paper towels, sponge, laundry detergent, dish detergent, and soap which is standard. The guest bedroom which is standard size off the living room does have pocket doors and includes a walk-in closet. The two master bedrooms are larger and have their own master-baths. Lovely property. Furnishings of the home were nice. Though the appliances like the dishwasher, toaster and microwave could use an upgrade. Toaster was very small that you couldn’t fit a piece of bread in it and the microwave barely fit a microwaveable bag of popcorn. The dishwasher door has to be pushed into alignment to close the door. The interior lighting was very dark in the living room and dinning room area and a few pot lights continuously flickered. There is a bbq grill but renters need to fill the propane tank which I found to be odd since if I filled it, I’d be filling it for several other guests and no instructions how to replace the propane tank or where to go for a replacement, so can’t really consider that a grill is available for use. Property manager was very responsive and helpful. This is a nice home but the little details to make this home a wonderful rental property should be considered.

Beautiful property

The pictures don’t do this property justice. It’s beautiful, serene, and private. If you like to be close to things but off the beaten path, this property is for you! The house is close to the road, but very quiet- you won’t hear any road noise. The walk to the dock is not a long one and there is a beautiful pond with large gazebos complete with hammocks and sitting areas. While at the dock we were able to catch trout, cat fish, king fish and even a flounder! You can see dolphins, multiple different kinds of birds, and manatees. A manatee actually swam right next to the dock under our swinging feet! Lou was great and let us gather eggs from the 20 plus chickens on the property. We really enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to come back!

Absolute Heaven

What a beautiful gift ~ a tropical paradise! The house was immaculate and one of our kids said as we walked in “I love how this place really feels like home” :) Our children played for hours in the pool, fished (caught 3 delicious red fish!), wandered through the fruit orchard enjoying the Florida wildlife, and relaxed on the hammock in the lotus pond. The lovely owner, Lou, couldn’t have been more hospitable as he gave us a guided tour of all the fruit trees and showed us around the new renovations to the site. We spent most sunrises & sunsets on the dock swing watching dolphins, manatees, and sting rays swimming around and listening to the songs of so many varieties of Florida birds. This wasn’t our first stay here at the River House and it most certainly will not be our last! Thank you so much ~ we really look forward to our next stay with you!

The home was a wonderful place for our family of 4 to get away with a set of grandparents. The pictures do not do it justice. It's in beautiful, perfect condition, and there was plenty of space for everyone with well-appointed bathrooms and large bedrooms. Nice, high quality beds, linens, and towels. (Thank you for including the body wash, shampoo, and conditioner!) There is a terrific long dining room table that was ideal for having our meals together. Very nice kitchen. The pool was also the perfect size for my family and we gave it *a lot* of use! The grounds are gorgeous and well maintained. Loved the tiki huts and the dock had a gorgeous view at sunset! We were close to everything that we wanted including beaches and restaurants. Also: our contact through Evolve was wonderful - rapidly responsive and very helpful. Thank you very much!

Excellent Vacation Spot

This Oasis spot that is divide by the Indian & Banana River is incredible property! it’s your owe hideaway! The property is very relax with just hanging in the house or lounging by the pool or a small walk down to the dock to take in the evening sunset! It is close to any thing that may be needed during the stay shopping, sporting complexes and entertainment/ beaches. We had a great time on this vacation!

Just wow!

South Merritt Island is a tropical wonderland. We felt like we were in Bali while staying at this nicely-sized open concept home with a casual surfer-in-paradise vibe. Natural teak and wood finishes inside to meet beautiful grounds and nearby beaches and other attractions outside. If you prefer a nature-focused getaway to neveau-glitz, take a leap and stay here.

Amazing lush and tropical haven

This place may be older, but it is spotless, everything was as the pictures represent, everything worked. We had a chance to text with the owner, and he was accommodating. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful gem in a perfect location!

Very nice home in a perfect location. Simple and easy check in and out, no hassle of going to a rental office or having to schedule a meeting with someone. The back yard trail leads to a dock that is simply magnificent and will give you a perfect view of the breathtaking sunset nightly.
