Das Casa El Coyote befindet sich in Castillo de Arena, 15 km südlich von Cabo Pulmo und 51 km vom Flughafen SJD entfernt.
Mit 3BDRM und einem Queensize-Schlafsofa im Obergeschoss bietet unser Haus bequem Platz für 6 Personen. Wir haben eine gut ausgestattete Küche und einen großen Wohnbereich mit Blick auf die Bucht von Los Frailes im Erdgeschoss. Viel Platz auf der Außenterrasse, ein nach Norden ausgerichteter Balkon und eine überdachte Veranda zum Speisen im Freien, Sonnenbaden oder Entspannen. Genießen Sie den herrlichen Blick auf das Meer von Cortez. Die obere Terrasse bietet einen spektakulären Blick auf den Sonnenaufgang und Sonnenuntergang. Außendusche und 2 Vollbäder.

Die Camino Cabo Este-Straße ist eine unbefestigte (aber häufig abgeteilte) Straße. Für die Erkundung der Gegend wird ein Geländewagen oder ein hochfrequentiertes Auto empfohlen.

Es wird empfohlen, Lebensmittel in San Jose / Cabos zu kaufen, bevor Sie zur Casa El Coyote fahren, da es in der Gegend keine großen Geschäfte gibt. Ein kleines Lebensmittelgeschäft befindet sich in Cabo Pulmo. Obst und Gemüse können Sie gelegentlich auf einem nahe gelegenen Markt kaufen.
Das Haus liegt in einer ruhigen und sicheren Gegend. Es ist umgeben von majestätischen Ausblicken auf das Meer, die Wüste und die nahe gelegenen Sanddünen. Der nächste Strand ist 10 Minuten zu Fuß. Sylvia was very responsive to us and directions and check in process was well communicated. The house is very homey and well stocked along with the most spectacular ocean/dessert views from the many patios. The pool was a highlight for the kids along with nearby snorkeling and sand dunes. Would definitely recommend to friends and hope to be back again one day!

We really enjoyed our time here! The whole house was set up well with dishes/ utensils, games, and everything you needed. We even heard coyotes while on the deck. Very easy to get to nice snorkeling beaches and hikes. If we plan another trip to the East Cape we would definitely try to stay here again.

All in all, amazing place! Easy to find, spacious, and comfortable. No ac but plenty of fans. Being on the top of hill gives a perfect breeze. If you need internet after 11pm you need to let the host know ahead of time. Usually it wouldn't be an issue for us, we just found out in the middle of a streaming movie. Beautiful scenery and all the typical wildlife you find in the desert. The sunrise and song birds are stunning from any of the multiple balconies.Highly recommend! Would stay there again 100%

Great base for Frailes and Cabo Pulmo

Silvia and Clayton’s place is clean and comfortable. Their listing and property photos are accurate; Silvia was extremely helpful and gracious when we had a complication during our trip. Family with 2 teenagers thoroughly enjoyed the views, the soaking pool and patio dining. We plan to return.

Beautiful home great location

We so enjoyed our stay at Casa el coyote. The property was well kept, comfortable and very clean. We loved the personal touches through the home and garden. The setting was lovely. Everything I heard about the road to get there was more than true. Wish I was there during the warmer snorkel season. Didn't realize fishing boats came out of Jose Cabo. Furnishings were nice and clean. Liked having reading lights by bed. Wish the pots and frying pans were newer and better quality would be my only suggestion. Hosts were very attentive.

Beautiful well maintained casa with great balcony views and lovely garden

We thoroughly enjoyed our short time at Casa El Coyote. The place had everything we needed and more. The house is very nicely furnished, I would say just right for 6 people. The hosts were very responsive and helpful, providing great tips for things to see/do en route to Casa EC. There are beautiful views of the ocean and surrounding hills, and so quiet except for occasional cow bells and coyotes at night. We didn't have time to do all the activities described in their information book (which is really useful) but we took a walk over the sand dunes to the beach for a picnic lunch and saw whales breaching every so often. What a treat! Highly recommend Casa El Coyote!

East Cape Vacation

We spent five days at Casa el Coyote and had a great time. The house is off grid, powered by solar, and has a beautiful view of the Sea of Cortez. The saltwater pool is an added amenity and is ideal for a relaxing dip. The roads on the East Cape are rough, so be prepared for a washboard experience and any large supermarket is about one hour plus away, so stock up on all of your food and drinks in San Jose del Cabo before heading out. It is well worth it once you get to the house. We do not recommend driving at night as there are cows and other animals that frequent the dirt roads and are difficult to see in the night. We had great communication with Silvia before and during our entire stay and thank her for her response.

Wonderful stay

We really enjoyed staying at Casa Coyote. It is off the beaten path, which we all really love and the views of the desert and Los Frailles is stunning. The house has a great layout with lots different outdoor spaces for everyone to be together or apart. We spent many mornings on the roof watching the sunrises and doing yoga as well as having sundowners and watching the amazing stars. The kitchen has everything we needed and we made many great meals here. We walked down to the beach many times and had lots of fun playing on the beautiful sand dunes. The location is very close to Los Frailles beach which we went to many times. The snorkeling at the end of that beach is remarkable! The hike up the headland at the end of Los Frailles was a highlight as well with views of the whole area. The area is lovely and the neighbors are friendly. Lots of support if needed from the owners as well as a local manager who lives nearby. We’d return!

Lovely home base for East Cape adventures.

Such a beautiful, comfortable place to come home to after long beach walks, rugged drives, snorkeling, hiking…a wonderful place to prepare a big meal to share as the sun sets over the desert. If convenient night life is your thing, this isn’t your spot, but if you’re looking to enjoy infinite stars, miles of deserted, white sand beach and gorgeous desert and willing to invest in a big grocery haul before you leave the city, this is your place! We had a marvelous time. (Don’t be frugal on car rental. We were and regretted driving a Jetta. It got us there and around, but slowly and there were a few places we couldn’t get our car to. A high clearance, 4WD car will shorten drive times between the house and various east cape destinations)

A wonderful week at Casa el Coyote

My family and I stayed at Casa el Coyote for 9 nights over our spring break. We live in a large California city, so we were super excited for a remote vacation spot along the East Cape of Baja sur. Casa el Coyote was a wonderful home for my wife and I and our two teenagers, with everyone getting their own room. We loaded up on groceries before driving to the house and cooked 90% of our meals in the well stocked kitchen. There was even a tortilla press and I made tortillas for the first time ever. That led to me making fresh tortillas everyday after!The heated pool was a hit as well. We were definitely in it every single day, and was one of the highlights for us. Lounging in the pool, looking out over the sea of Cortez with Frailes and Cabo Pulmo mountains in the background was truly special. There were also many outdoor sitting areas to catch some sun (or shade) and read a good book. Thank you Sylvia for the wonderful home and all of the recommendations! We love Cabo pulmo

Perfect House

This property was great for our surf trip . We had such a great time on the fire roads , snorkeling and surfing all over . We will definitely inquire about staying at this property again. Thank you for everything, Joey

This is a modern, clean and spacious house with plenty of outdoor space. Our guests love the set-up of the house, with plenty of space for a large family or group of friends, the opportunity to spend time outdoor on the patios, by the pool or in the garden, and the spectacular views of the ocean, the desert and the stars. We make efforts to support local economy and conserve energy and resources (recycling, composting system, water conservation in the house and pool). This is a perfect place for unwind, relax, spend time with your loved ones and enjoy nature!
